Dontgonearthere has announced its plans to refit/replace all of its current robotic battle droids, the new series is now in its prototype phase, the DM-1 Battledroid. The combat model will be capable of any action which can be performed by a standard soldier, except better.

Most models will be givin either a nanite 'skin' or artificial rubber/foam skin, but direct combat models will retain the 'skeleton' look, with joints/important systems givin a flexmetal covering.
Any nations wishing to aid in the development will be allowed full rights/plans of all models.

Current model plans:
DM-100: Standard combat model
DM-101: Assassin model
DM-150: Command model
DM-200: Spec-Ops model
DM-250: Nanite 'liquid metal' model
DM-300: Security/Police model
DM-350: Technician model
DM-F: Fighter (flyer)
DM-B: Bomber (flyer)
DM-T: Tank
DM-R: Recon

Most models will have varients denoted by Alpha, IE: DM-100A is the Anti-Tank specialist version, B is the sniper, and C is the Infantry Support

The first test phase is finished, combat trials will begin shortly, would anybody care to participate in a wargame?

The Five Civilized Nations is willing in the wargames to participate with its famed Black Watch Corps...

Froggyliciousness' Froggy Squadron can join. It's made up of a few mechanized tank-like things, and a lot of infantry. If you've got some AA weapons I can include some fighters. But make sure they aren't real weapons- just laser-tag like stuff.

DGNT produced a trial run of about 8,000 per unit, more or less depending on price. Each unit not used in the battle is currently undergoing stress-tests and refitting.

Armaments:
DM-100: GCL Laser rifle, or GCMG machine gun
DM-150: GCS sniper rifle or GSMG submachine gun
DM-200: GCSMG, explosives, mines, that sort of thing
DM-350: Nanite-repair stpray
DM-F: 1 machine gun, 6 ATA missiles
DM-B: 3 ball turret machine guns, varous bomb loads
DM-T: 1 anti-armour laser, 2 turret lasers, 1 concussion grenade launcher
DM-R: 2 GCMG

All models in the numerical series' are humanoid skeletons, 200's have a humanesque skin and are capable of reproducing voice/retinal/fingerprint scans.
