"A great nation has been concieved, ever mindful of its tenets of honor, dignity, righteousness, and knowledge. Today, we formally announce that the nation of Crownguard is hearby declared fully atheist. No longer shall those who are disinclined to believe in a "God" be stomped upon by their religiously minded brethren. "
*He stops as there is a tremendous applause*
"That is not to say religion will be suppressed in private. We as a nation care for one another, and your beliefs in whatever fantasies you may have about reality are sacrosant. However, as always, any subversive religions will be declared illegal, and their deluded followers imprisoned.
We will not tolerate any religiously based state as an ally, nor will we recognize them as legitimate governments. Governments are designed to be secular, and mankind wil not be held in bondage to a slavish, self-serving ideal of a divine. Such beliefs breed sloth, laziness, and delusion as people pray to 'God' to fix their problems.
Finally, Crownguard will make the teaching of skeptical thought mandatory in all schools, and a new teacher position of 'Moral Philosophy' Advisor supported. Knowledge is power..it is time for mankind to rekindle the lost flame of science from the darkness of dogma. Thank you, loyal Citizens."
