FEATHER BELLY SCANDAL? Cloning Experiment And Export Questioned UPI ~ Sapphire Valley, Senoj
Robby of Senoj, Senojian Animal Administrator, held another press conference at the Macrocosm Labs this morning. This is the site at which the once extinct Feather Bellied Elephant cloning and export plans were hatched. It was determined last week the baby feather bellies virtually doubled in size overnight. Complaints have now been made by importers that the Feather Belly is prone to spontaneous genetic replication and frequent reproduction. The assertion that the Feather Belly would only get "as big as a Great Dane or a little larger" made by Administrator Robby is also seems to be erroneous. A Senojian farmer, Elymus of Indianola, who adopted a pair of Feather Bellies (now called FBs) said this: "I still kinda like these critters but damn they got big quick. One is the size of a Volkswagen Beetle! They sure mess around a lot too. Not only do I have a pregnant one but every three of four days another one the size of a beagle just shows up in the pen. I'm not sure what to do. The government has a ban on slaughter and marketing. I just wanted 'em as pets but hell, I'm worried that the things will take over." In his brief statement, Robby of Senoj reasserted "There is nothing to be worried about. There is no need for alarm." He declined further comments and continues to refuse the press demands to see the animals at the center. A formal request for government intervention has been made to Lord Trebor.
