Raysia in research of new AME Machwave warhead

RNN Report:

Raysia is currently in deep research and testing of a new warhead design for the AME weaponry surrounding the nation (ie the Sky/Sea Cleaners).

The current Sky Cleaner Mk II warhead design is a 10 Ton Low-Yield Hydrogen-type explosive (Explosive force: 50 Kilotons) with a top propelled speed of Mach 3. Now in research is a new concept of Sonic Weaponry, which uses still-classified technology to function as a sonic-type explosive device. Upon reaching its target position, the warhead seperates into two halves in a violent explosion, followed by two much larger precision-detonated Fuel-Air Explosives that harmonize to send a shockwave with an effective blast radius of 1800 feet, with an effective blast height 300 feet deep. The blast will be sufficient enough to do serious damage to groups of bombers and provides a serious threat to spy planes and fighters, not to mention nock missiles right out of the sky.

((Basically, think something along the lines of those bombs Jango Fett used in Episode II))

These will be far more effective, not only in power, but also in speed, travelling at a maximum of Mach 9 when launched from the Electromagnetic Rail Accellerators of the Sky Cleaner Mk. II.

But sadly, Raysian law prohibits detonation of these devices lower than 4500 feet over cityspace, and lower than 2000 feet over other populated areas.

EDIT: This device has been labelled the "Machwave Warhead"

And I intend this to be 2015, possibly 2020 tech at the most :) just because I can ^_^

testing is complete, and the military has released this surveilance photo of one of these Machwaves.

You can clearly see the 2 initial explosions on top and bottom, which produce the primary machwave.

Most impressive! We complement our Raysian colleagues in High Energy Weaponry on their success!
