In a media statement released earlier today, Sir Richard Branson announced that Virgin would expand into Nationstates by spending some $15 billion over the next decade.
The first entrant of Virgin into Nationstates will be it's airline division, Virgin Atlantic.
Virgin Atlantic will begin flying routes in the North Pacific for now. It hopes to turn over a profit in 2006.
"Since Sept 11, the aviation industry in the real world has been in a near-continous slump." says Branson. "The cyclic nature of this industry means it is the perfect time to expand into the Nationstates world."
