A Far away star

Part I:

It was 8 A.M in the out in the Islands Fuji in Nano Soft. It was quiet and peaceful there, only noise there where the animals, the sea and the wind. The 38 retired captain, "Dajeil", had just woken up to the loudest noise ever there in the Fuji Islands.
Dajeil: "What the heck!"
The captain gets up looks out of the window to see a huge star fleet ship heading his way. The ship stops and a small craft comes from it and heads over to the docking bay at the captains house. The captain put on some proper clothing and shoes. He walks down a long flight a stairs that are from his tower bed room to his kitchen on the first floor. He hears the door bell ringing and he starts to hurry up to the door.
"Hold on jeez IM coming!"
The captain runs over to the door and opens it up to see two Nano Softian Star Fleet officers standing there in uniform.
Officers: “Captain Dajeil?"

Dajeil: “Yes what is it?"

Officers: “We are..."

Dajeil: “I know where your from! What is it?"

Officers: “Well sir a new system.."

Dajeil: “Get down to the point! I don’t have all day!"

Officers: “Well sir we want you to command a long distance star ship to the system and explore it. So will you do it?"

Dajeil: “WHAT! I retired! I am posed to be living here away from every one else! You people said you would leave me alone!"

Officers: “WEll yes sir but the leaders back at HQ think that you are the man for the mission."

Dajeil: “Well screw them! I don’t care what they think!"

Officers: “But sir it is your old ship and most of your old crew. That really want you to do this mission!"

Dajeil: “Fine, when do we ship out?"

Officers: “Now sir"

Dajeil: “Grrr... fine just let me get a few things."

Officers: “Ok sir, you have 30 mins"

Dajeil: “ok, wait for me in the ship"

Officers: “Ok sir"

Part II:

The captain runs up the stairs to his tower bed room. He walks over to his night stand next to his bed. He opens a gore and pulls out a leash and a key. Then he walks over to his closet and opens the door, there in-front of him is this large brown, old chest. He puts the key in the lock on the chest and opens the chest. He pulls out a Nano Softian Uniform, star travel gear and the standard Nano Softian Officer weapon. He puts on the uniform and then put his gear on.
Dajeil: "all right now...ahh yes"
The captain runs down stairs to a small room off of the kitchen. He hears barking coming from inside.
Dajeil: "Settle down boy its all right"
He opens the door and small dog a baggy hair jumps on him and starts to lick him.
Dajeil: "all right come on! Down boy"
The dog sits down and the captain puts the leash on the dog
Dajeil: "OK boy we're going for a little trip now come on!"
The dog barks couple times and the captain stands up. He picks up a small bag on top of the counter and walks to the door, he closes and locks them door as he walks out side.
Dajeil: "OK lets get move on"

Officers: "Yes sir!"
The captain walks across a small platform over and into the small transport craft. The platform lifts up and closes behind him, the dog starts barking at the door.
Dajeil: "Settle down boy its all right"
The ship slowly lifts up then accelerates speed as it heads to the star ship. Minutes later the docking bays of the ship open and the small transport craft fly’s in. The Transport docks and the platform drops, four men are standing on the other side.
Men: "Good morning sir!"

Dajeil: "Nice morning to you all"
One of the four men: "Sir please follow me to the forward command room!"
Dajeil: "Move on soldier"
They man turns and starts to walk off to the left, the captain walks after him. The other men also turn and follow after the captain. They walk down a long hall way to a elevator. They all walk inside, the first man push a button and the elevator goes up to the 8th floor. They come right out into the forward command room, there is a man stand near the Captain and vice captain seats.
Dajeil: "Veniliel is that you?"

Veniliel: "Dajeil long time no see!"

Dajeil: "well this is a surprise! So what are you vice captain now?"

Veniliel: "Why in fact yes I am, after you retired I was set on some new missions that they made me first officer and I guess I did some stuff they liked and now IM here.
Dajeil: "OK so you here to brief me on this matter?"

Veniliel: "I wish I could say that but no you will have to do that your self"

Veniliel tosses Dajeil and green folder, the folder says top secret on it and has rubber bands going around it.
Dajeil: "So this really top secret?"

Veniliel: "No I ran out of all my other folders and that was the last one"

Dajeil: "OK then shall we get started?"

Veniliel: "Sure, come have a seat well of course you can you are in command"

Dajeil walks over to the captains seat a sits down in this nice big blue chair.
Veniliel: "Jeremy bring us out"

Jeremy(pilot): "Yes sir!"

Jeremy: " Its good to have you back captain!"

Dajeil: "Same here Jeremy"

Veniliel: "You better read that now because from now only your only time probably will be you free time"

Dajeil: "I know, Um...Privet"

Privet: "yes sir!"

Dajeil: "Can you bring my dog to my quarters?"

Privet: "Yes sir!"


OOC: Part III might come tonight but it depends.

Part III:

The privet walks off into the elevator with Dajeil dog. Dajeil gets relaxed in his big blue chair and starts to read over the briefing.

Objective/s:
1)Explore the Unknown galaxy
A)Chart the unknown
B)Find the most one like or close to Earth or Mars
C)Set up a colony and radio HQ for more ships
2)Take samples

Description: This area is unexplored, so no ones knows what lies ahead for you. There could be anything! Even other life forms. You will go there and explore that system. While exploring it tire and make a chart of the system. Also visit some of the planets there or rocks or moons or whatever there and take samples. After all that is done, if possible make a colony on one of the planets and radio HQ for us to send more ships to help colonize. Good luck Captain Dajeil and vice Captain Veniliel, may let god be with you.

Veniliel: "Done?"

Dajeil: "Yes, now lets go! Where are we any way?"

Jeremy: "We are just about to pass Mars now Sir!"

Dajeil: "Good now bring it into full speed!"

Jeremy: "Yes sir!"

Dajeil: "So 80,000 light years how long will that take?"

Veniliel: "IM thinking about say 10 maybe less"

Dajeil:: "Stuck on the light speed rock for that long! Well gives me time to catch up on my reading"
Captain Dajeil turns on the over head speaker.
Dajeil: "Hello crew this is your captain, Dajeil, we are moving into top speed so all at ease. Carrier on."
Captain turns off the over head speaker.
Dajeil: "So Veniliel up to a challenge to speed ball?"

Veniliel: "I don’t know, playing you. You might pull something."

Dajeil: "Me? You are mistaken now lets go, Commander we will be in the Hologram deck"

Commander: "Yes sir, something comes up I will call you"

OOC: I will do part IV later tonight.

How about no, and if any ones RP on this thread it will have correct spelling and not spell Sir like "Sur".

Part IV:

It is now about 1 month into the trip to the unknown system.
Radar officer: "Captain I am picking up that there is a worm hole about 2000m ahead!"

Dajeil: "Really? Jeremy bring us out of hyperspeed and stop about 500m away from that worm hole."

Jeremy: "Roger that captain"

Veniliel: "Dajeil what are you doing?"

Dajeil: "Don’t worry, just checking it out and hey maybe it will be a short cut if we are lucky."

Jeremy: "OK sir"

Dajeil: "Good, Veniliel can you lead a squad and check it out and report back?"

Veniliel: "Yes sir! You and you come with me"

Officers: "Yes sir!"

Veniliel and the two officers walk into the elevator and the doors close.

Jeremy: "Sir what do you think we will find?"

Dajeil: "I wish I could say but I don’t know I truly don’t know"
Minutes later on the screen is a picture of a small craft heading for the worm hole.
Veniliel: "Dutch to avatar do you copy?"

Dajeil: "Roger that, hear you loud and clear!"

Veniliel: "It looks like you might be right captain but I... what the..."
A loud static comes over the radio.
Dajeil: "Dutch? Dutch? Do you come over? I repeat do you come over?"

Radar officer: "Sir I lost them!"

Dajeil: "Shit, Jeremy bring us in! Bradford all weapons on line! Set ship to a level red alert! Where going in"
The level red alert goes off and personal rush to there stations.

Dajeil: "Anything now?"

Bradford(radar/weapons officer): "No sir"

Dajeil: "Keep going Jeremy!"

Jeremy: "Yes sir!"

Bradford: "I found them sir!"

Dajeil: "Ok that’s good to know"

Dajeil: "Avatar to Dutch do you copy? I repeat do you copy?"

Bradford: "Sir it looks like they are heavily damage."

Dajeil: "What? How could that be there’s not a ships like within light years!"

Bradford: "Sir I wouldn't talk so soon..."

Dajeil: "What is it?"

Bradford: "It looks like there is a huge ship heading our way sir, about 10 times bigger than us! Sir they are charging weapons!"

Dajeil: "Oh shit..."

Part V:

Jeremy: "Sir 1,500 m and closing!"

Dajeil: "Put all power on front hull and shields!

Bradford: "Yes sir!"

Dajeil: "Jeremy full warp! Bradford bring in Veniliel with the tractor beam!"

Jeremy: "Sir go into full warp now!"

Bradford: "Sir there firing weapons! They are targeting our engines!"

Dajeil: "Fire pulse cannon at there weapons!"

Bradford: "Yes sir!"

Jeremy: "Sir engines are at 80%!"

Dajeil: "Do we have the Dutch yet!?!?!"

Bradford: "Yes sir!"

Dajeil: "Jeremy take us out of here!"

Jeremy: "Yes sir! Going to full speed now!"

Bradford: "Sir I lost them!"

Dajeil: "What do you mean I lost them!?!?!"

Bradford: "I lost the enemy vessel!"

Dajeil: "What?!?! How could that be there where just 2000 m away! Any warp trail?"

Bradford: "No sir"

Dajeil: "Ok, get the HUB team out side of the docking bay and wait for me."

Bradford: "Yes sir!"

Dajeil grabs his pistol and runs over to the elevator. He runs in and pushes a button, the elevator goes down to the fifth floor. The captain runs out and goes running down the hallway. All around and open wires and sparks flying.
HUB captain: "Sir awaiting your orders sir!"

Dajeil: "Good move in and make sure no one is on that vessel but ours!"

HUB captain: "Yes sir!"

Dajeil: "Kill anything that is not ours! Now move in!"

HUB captain: "Yes sir! go go go!
Men open the door and go rushing in. They come on both sides of the vessel. They come up on each side, they come to the door. The HUB captain gives they hand signal clear. They open the door with weapons pointed. Laser weapon from inside fires at them, the HUB members quickly duck behind the corner. One of the HUB members throws a frag grenade inside. It explodes and all the HUB members rush in and find only four enemies inside.
Dajeil: "Veniliel? Are you there?"

HUB medic: "Sir im not picking up any more life forms, they most of token them."

Dajeil: "Shit! Jeremy do you copy?"

Jeremy: "Yes sir, what is it?"

Dajeil: "Turn the ship around and head back and try to find that enemy vessel!"

Jeremy: " Sir permission to ask?"

Dajeil: "Go on"

Jeremy: "Why are we turning around to find them? They could kill us."

Dajeil: "Because they have Veniliel and the rest of the crew"

Jeremy: "Yes sir..."

Dajeil: "Ok commander the ship is yours, clean up around here. Im heading back to command."

HUB captain: "Yes sir."

Bradford: "Captain?"

Dajeil: "Go ahead"

Bradford: "Im picking up a very light warp trail"

Dajeil: "Roger that, Jeremy set a course"

Jeremy: "Yes sir"

OOC:Any comments?!?!

Good, but i'm keepin this TAGGED for now. Waiting for a chance to go in.

Part VI:

Dajeil: Jeremy any thing yet? It has been five hours!

Jeremy: No sir, sorry but the warp trail is fainting away.

Dajeil: Crap, are we at full warp?

Jeremy: Ye... wait sir! Incoming ship at 10,000m and closing!

Dajeil: Ready weapons! All shield energy on forward hall! Bradfrod get ready when there in range target there engines once those are out target there weapons!

Bradford: Yes sir!

Jeremy: 6,000m... 5,500m... 5,000m... 4,500m and closing!

Bradford: sir there targeting our engines!

Dajeil: Brace for impact!

Jeremy: 900M! AND CLOSING SIR!

Dajeil: FIRE!

Both ships start to fire at each other. They go flying by each other, the avatar scraping its bottom on the enemies ship. The Avatar takes a sharp turn and fires at the enemies engines. Torpedoes go flying out the tubes, they go fly at the enemy and hit the engines knocking them out.

Bradford: Sir there engines are out and our shields are down!

Dajeil: Good now target there weapons!

Bradford: Yes sir!

Jeremy: Sir they cant get us back here.

Dajeil: Good then stay here.

Bradford: Sir some kind of small double cannon just popped out and is aiming at us.

Dajeil: So... well fire at it!

Bradford: Yes sir!

The double cannon fires four times at the Avatar. The shots fly at the Avatar and hit it.

Bradford: Sir that was a Ion gun where loosing power!

Dajeil: Crap that’s not good, can you still fire at it?

Bradford: Already did sir see.

On the screen it shows two torpedoes fly towards the small cannon, they hit it and it explodes.

Dajeil: Good, get the back up power going!

Bradford: Yes si...sir another gun popped out and it doesn't look the same type of gun!

Dajeil: Brace for impact!

The cannon fires a shot at the Avatar, it hits the Avatar ripping a whole in the side in it.

Bradford: HOLLY CRAP! Sir that gun just blew away sector 12 in one hit!

Dajeil: WHAT!

Bradford: There firing again!

Dajeil: Evacuate! Sound the evacuation alarm! Every one to an escape pod!

Two more shots are fired from the small cannon. They rip off another side of the Avatar. The alarm is sounded and crews run to the escape pods and climb in them and launch away. Dajeil runs down the hall with four other officers, Bradford and Jeremy. They get to the docking area where the pods are.

Bradford: Sir there no more ships!

Dajeil: Oh crap! Not goo... wait the landing ship! Every get in the landing ship there!

Every one runs over to the ship, they run in and take a seat. Jeremy jumps in the driver seat and Bradford gets in the gunner and every one else gets in other seat behind.

Jeremy: Sir there doors wont open!

Bradford: Don't worry I have that covered!

Bradford fires two small torpedoes at the door, the door explodes and the landing craft fly’s out. Just as there 100m away the ship explodes and the after shock wave knocks out the engines of the landing craft but sends them fly for this near by planet.

Fighters from the enemy ship come flying out and fire at the escape pods blowing them up. The un shielded escape pods with a small laser turret try to fight back but are not match for the high tech/ high skilled fighters. They just get blow away one by one, some are able to escape but only by crashing on the near by planet.

Dajeil and his crew on his landing craft are sucked into the planets atmosphere. They go flying towards the surface of the planet at high speed and start to burn up in the atmosphere at the speed.

Jeremy: Sir I think this planet has an atmosphere very much like earth!

Dajeil: How so?

Jeremy: Well I seeing water particles and oxygen and some others but now the sensors have been knocked out.

Dajeil: Well this is good, I guess...

Hmmm... I think I'll keep an eye on this one. 8) looks good so far. One question though, would you prefer the involvement of a reasonably peaceful nation of humans or a nation of marauding war-crazy space orks. I can use either, and both would have interesting points.

Part VII:

4 hours later

Captain Dajeil wakes up to find a group of small children pocking him with small sticks. When he rolls over all the small kids run away over to the left where there are some huts or what seems to be a village to the captain.

Dajeil: "What the heck...."

He looks around but his landing craft or any of his crew members are to be seen or heard. He makes sure he has his radio and pistol but can only find his pistol. He pulls out his translator and walks up to the village.

Dajeil: "Hello? Hello? Any one here?"

Two men come out with spears.

Man 1: "Stay back you! IM telling you stay back!"

Dajeil: "I come in peace! I mean no harm! Please lower your weapons!"

Man 2: "Why you here! WHY!"

Dajeil: "My ship exploded! Me and my.."

Man 1: "What there others?!??!"

Dajeil: "Yes but we mean no harm and our ship exploded and we had to crash here!"

The two men lower there weapons and they wave Dajeil on.

Man 1: "Come, we can tell you about what killed your ship Mr...?"

Dajeil: "My name is Captain Dajeil that is what you can call me."

Man 2: Then Captain Dajeil it is now come."

Actin Dajeil and the men walk over towards the houses. As they approach people start gathering and start looking and wondering who this strange man is who is dressed funny. They walk into one of the huts pushing away some draped beads as they enter.

Man 1: "Captain please have a seat."

Dajeil: "Thank you"

Man 1: Excuse me while I talk to my wife."

Dajeil nods his head, the other men takes a seat also in the chair next to him.

Dajeil: "So this ship thing that blew my ship apart can you tell me anything about it?"

Man 2: "I wish I could but I have no clue, and neither does any one in this village!"

Dajeil: "Then how will I find out about it?"

Man 2: "Don't worry! You will find out a soon enough."

The other man and his wife walk back in the hut.

Man 1: "Captain Dajeil this is my wife."

Dajeil: "Pleasure to meet you."

Wife: "same, may I offer you some water?"

Dajeil: "Yes please, so about this ship how can I find out?"

Man 1: "None of us can tell you for we have only heard of it, but there is a wise man, he is at the top of the mountain to the north. He can tell you all about this ship."

Dajeil: "How do I get there?"

Man 2: "There is a long and small path that leads up there."

Dajeil: "So that doesn't sound hard to get too"

Man 1: "Well it is, you will be facing all elements! There are blizzards at the top and land slides at the bottom! The only peace on the whole mountain is at the very top."

Dajeil: "Do you have a map I could use?"

Wife: "Yes I do here you go."

Dajeil: "Thank you c..."

Man 1: "You should get a nights rest then you should start in the morning."

Dajeil: "Ok but have any of you seen a small silvery thing with a button on it and has the words Nano Soft on it?"

Wife: "Yes right here I found it our side earlier why?"

Dajeil: "May I please have it, its mine"

She hand him the small silvery device.

Wife: "There is a small area next to our hut where you can sleep in the mean while I will prepare some items for you hike north."

Dajeil: "Thank you, good night and thank you again for everything."

Dajeil walks out the hut and walks over to the right side of the hut. He sits down on a small bed and then starts to fiddle around with the silvery device. After a few minutes a lid slides open on the device. A small screen appears and on the screen is a red dot blinking to one side of the screen.

Dajeil: "Good this thing is finally working!"

Dajeil walks over and pops his head in the hut.

Dajeil: "Excuse me but IM sorry but I cant rest first I have to find my ship I crashed in and the crews."

Men and wife: "Ok then"

Dajeil walks off into the thick forest and disappears.

OOC: Is that small, silvery thing a distress beacon?

TAG, if you dont mind, I may come in later.

OOC: Some what, it is a beacon but whene there is no one in a landing ship and its not in a docking bay the tracking beacon is on so if they cant find the ship again they just pull out that little device. Don't worry in Part VIII I explain what it is.
