Reports are coming in that an aide to the Salvadorian defence minister has fled the country to seek political asylum in another country, believed to be a key member of the anti A-Corp coalition, believed to be Shildonia.
As a senior aide to the Salvadorian Defence Minister, the unamed aide had access to vast amounts of confidential information on subjects as varied as troop numbers, capabilities of new weapons systems, and much more.
It is believed that the aide in question began spying for the Shildonians almost 20 years ago, when he studied International Relations at Favourdale University. His treachory may have gone unnoticed, were it not for a report leaked by the Credonian Government, which included a warning from the Shildonian Intelligence Agency that a terrorist attack was imminent, citing "a high placed source within A-Corp".
Counterintelligence agents began searching for who this high place source was, and were almost ready to make an arrest when the Aide stole a prototype attack helicopter and flew to a foreign warship off the Salvadorian Coast.
The Shildonian Government is reported to deny having any knowledge of the defection, and denies being in possesion of the prototype attack helicopter.
