Science fair.
Being a small, but growing country we wanted to open our borders for a day of hospitality -- chefs will be cookin, scientists will be pulling out their beakers (um Dr. Wham - that means NO explosives please!).. heh, he gets a little enthusiastic.
I think you'll find this a tourist event worthy of a day or two on our fair beaches. Join us any time this month - and bring a casserole !
This quote from the Tetsutaka Ambasidor to LoreSong:
"You guys have GOT to try the brownies... They ROCK!"
Pulling out explosive beakers... Hmmm... We are sure that the tourists might find that entertaining, but our Minister of Cultural Cleanliness thinks that it would be wise to hand out sanitary napkins at the airports and make sure everyone has.. uhmmm... The proper latex appliences to insure a "safe and healthy" stay.

(neatly wipes brownie crumbs off her chin)... so you're impressed with our baked goods (or should that be goods that "bake"?). Now that we're settled in the 10,000 islands I'm sure we can work out a trade agreement. What do you have that's valuable enough to export our brownies and cookies?
Advanced medical technology, massive amounts of high quality raw materials for the food industry (we pride ourselves on our rice and grains and farm raised sea food). We also have some of the best medical schools in the world.
We also enjoy long walks on the beach, dancing and quiet nights around a campfire making out like randy teenagers.
Besides that we are developing materials development technology. Our aim is to make easily produced glass like materials that can replace steel.
