OOC-This is the real war thread for the South Africa RP idea. I expect the first person to post to be Featherstones, who is South Africa. Also, here are a few things to remember-
-No godmodding, bad RPing, flaming, etc.
-All OOC only comments should be sent to the original thread. OOC comments with IC material should be clearly noted.
-If you attack a player, do not attack them again until they have replied to the first.
-If you would like to join, please see the OOC thread. You can still play as a guerilla group or an African nation.

::President Mubatu had been in power for a little over two years before contracting full blown AIDs. His death, six months later, came as a shock to the nation, who were still unaware of his illness. His sucessor, President Haliya, the decendent of an Indian imigrant, is widely dispised, and plots begin to form in the military to remove him.

On the morning of the 4th of December, 2024, Lt. General Ikshish Fadaku marches his Corps into Pretoria, siezing it bloodlessly and proclaiming himself the new President. The native citizens welcome him with open arms, while the Afrikaaner and Indian citizens appeal to the international community for help. Further complicating the issue, is the military's nationalization of key natural reasorces, declairing a punative tax on all raw material exports and manufactured imports, attempting to fill their coffers and revive the flagging economy.

President Fadaku today, the 6th of March, 2025, has declaired that a new dimond mine, found near Lavumisa, Swaziland, is soverign land of South Africa, and moved soldiers across the boarder to sieze it. In a brief skirmish with Swaziland boarder patrolls, 4 Swazilanders were killed and 2 wounded. The leader of Swaziland has promised to throw the invaders out, while the international community has been silent so far::

::Mbindi Brinkman, the senior South African embassador to Germany, has gathered the French, British and German ambassadors in Berlin to discuss recent developments in his country of birth::

Mbindi: Guten Tag to you all. As I'm sure you have heard right now, Russia is planning on appealing to the United Nations to do something about our perfectly legal action, seizing land that is ours from it's foreign occupiers.

I need nations to stand up to them in the UN. Nations with prestigue.

Of cource, I can respond with protections from our recent nationalization of industry for your businesses, as well as exclusive access for your industries to our mines.

Think about what I've said. We can work out other details later.

OOC: I'll take rebel guerillas against New Empire and this Lt. General Ikshish Fadaku. I'll be located around the surrounding jungles of Pretoria.

IC:

Several men wandered across the clearing in the jungle near Pretoria to what had been declared a "base camp" by their leader, Shaka Zashkishi, or known to his companies as "Shaka Zulu." He had been an inspirational leader to the Pretorian people before the takeover by Ikshish, and had broken off a good deal of native Pretorians as a rebel branch to the new regime. They called themselves "Janus".

The command tent was in the center of the clearing, and the two men entered. Inside was Shaka Zulu standing around a map of South Africa. He had several points marked on it, and was barking out commands and information.

"Alright, we have news from one of our scouts that a small task force loyal to Ikshish has positioned itself in the northern sections of Pretoria. From what we can discern, they're numbered few, about 8. Also, we've been told that they're to head into the jungle at 1300 when a radio transmission of theirs was intercepted. While we're not entirely sure on this, we're going to pounce on it."

Shaka looked around at his men.

"We could easily overpower them. I want you, Morte, to take your squad South right to the foot of the mountains. We can set up a gunners nest on the main pathway."

"Morte", one of Shaka's lieutenants, had earned his name from a record of 40 kills, and several counts of cold-blooded murder back when he was a Pretorian civilian. Only recently had Shaka broken him out of jail, and Morte was loyal to him for this. He had a solemn look on his face, and only nodded to what Shaka was saying. One of Morte's squad members, "Jibbs", as he was called, because of his inevitable stream of jibberish from when he was afraid, started to speak out.

"Man, that's only 5 people versus 8! We'd get waxed, even with the element of surprise. Once you fire int he jungle, and people know where you're coming from, that's it! You're f***ed!"

Morte winced at the dissent from his own squad member. He unholstered a Glock from his belt, cocked the hammer, and put it under Jibbs' chin. He immediately shut up. "Follow orders, maggot."

"I take it," said Shaka, interrupting, "that we're good to go. Depart within an hour, Morte. You should set up some snipers from the craggs overlooking as well. I'll give you entire access to the armory."

"Yessir. I won't let you down."

Morte turned around, and dragged Jibbs out after him. Shaka picked up a radio receiver and sent a signal to the armory giving the command that Morte had free reign of equipment.

--

A few minutes later, 5 heavily armed men departed off down a path blazed through the jungle off to the paths just north of Pretoria, led by Morte.

OOC: Just trying to establish a little, uh, "character" for my men. I'll see you North of the pass then, New Empire, if you decide to play along.

(quote from speech by ambassador Sergetov to the UN council)

"How many times in the past has south-africa been the paradise of evil? How many times has the international community turned a blind eye to untold attrocities? We cannot allow more suffering! These people have seen more death and pain than one may see in ten lifetimes. Do we really want another Mogabe? Do we want more massacres like Sharpeville? Has not enough innocent blood been shed in this southern gold-mine? It should be clear that this new dictator will opress the people of south-africa, he clearly only seeks to accumulate personal wealth from the many natural resources that should belong to the PEOPLE! I say again, something MUST be done, now!"

::Ambassador Hathu Zillagyi adresses the UN, in response to the Russian allegations::

Zillagyi: Listen to this man, and you are listening to the voice of greed. This man, this russian diplomat, isn't concerned with the conditions of the populance in South Africa. He doesn't want to see the people of South Africa made wealthy. All he wants is the resorces for his own country.

Listen to me. Since 2024 my country has experienced a level of economic growth unrivaled in our contries history. People, once poor, have been given shelter, food, a chance to succede. And who is responsible for this? Our president, Fadaku.

The dimond mine that this border dispute is over is located in our land. It was found by our people. It belongs to our people. And if the other nations in this world want to be greedy enough to sieze it, want to see South Africa suffer, then I'm deeply saddened by the ethical state of the world today.

I ask the world comunity only this, vote down Russia's resolution. Allow us to continue on our corce, with the support of our people, and not with some puppet government controlled from afar, without either the people's support, or their loyalty.

Thank you. We yield the floor.

*Prime minister Sosuke Hamuro addresses a crowd of many Chinese and Japanese Generals and Ambassadors*

China, do not make haste to go to war with Russia. For now, Japan is only at a nuetral point. We do not want to start a war right now, for Russia has few, but reliable allies. Japan is just waiting for what will come. On the issue in South Africa, we think this General Faduku a resource greedy mass-murderer. If any further action is taken is South Afrika, Japan will see to it that something is done!

Prime Minister, Hans Gorrman, sat at his office, looking over the reports. The office was relatively Spartan, but the desk was a very finely polished Cherry, and adorned with pens, papers, and a Laptop computer. He accesed the Govt. Messaging channel off the computer, and connected to the 22nd Fallschirm-Infanterie (Paratroopers), which were stationed at Ramstien AFB.
<Connecting...>
<Marshal?>
<Yes?>
<You have been monitoring the situation in South Africa, have you not?>
<Of course, Herr Minister.>
<Well, I've worked out a deal with Mozambique... Prepare to jump into Swaziland...>
<Our mission?>
<Combat Excersises, until the last minute.>
<Will we have the support of the Berlin?>
The Prime Minister paused at the mention of the carrier, which was currently at Diego Garcia.>
<Yes.>
<Our mission?>
<To peacekeep until we can work out a deal.>
<I suspect there will be no peace to keep, but we will serve.>
<Disconnected>
Gorrman then began writing out a secure email to Fadaku.
<Greetings, Mister President.
While your nation has been a great aid to our economy, we worry this action against Swaziland may have serious consequences against the world economy. If Russia suceeds in placing an embargo, we may not be able to help you, and almost every nation will lose something from the lack of your nation's resources. Therefore, we have elected to move troops into Swaziland to ensure the safety of any relief missions we may commence. However, we will also try to stave of Russian invaision. But make no mistake, we will take action if you do not lower these taxes. If we cannot regain our economic growth, there will be no German forces to protect you.

Sincerely,
Hans Gorrman.>
He clicked send, as the email encrypted and shot off to Pretoria. Leaning back in his chair, he looked at the reports of the Russo-Japanese tensions.
God save this mad world...

Prime-Minister General James Tout sat in his office in Westminster, playing the messages and recordings from his UN ambassador (Helen Sinclain). He studdied them, trying to figure out there meaning. The phone rang.

"Prime Minister General Tout speaking."

"I've just had a report from some spies in Mozambique. The germans have inserted peace-keeping forces," said the leader of the MI5.

"Where?"

"He couldn't be more specific than Mozambique. He may be in trouble."

"Use your own discretion in rescuing him."

He hung up. The germans! It was an unexpected move. He could plan for any US or UN or even EU move, but this was completely off-balance. And with the possibility of war in asia he would have to make his move sooner or later. He dailed a number

"Sinclain?"

"Yes sir?"

"Make arrangements for a flight to geneva. I've got to moniter the situation."

"Mbindi is asking for us to support him."

"Then do so."

He heard an inrush of breath, and the line went out.

He sat back. This would be interesting, very interesting indeed.

"That was my Prime minister, Mr Mbindi. He would be happy to support South Africa." said Sinclain

Morte's team had been in position for several hours. There was still no sign of the expected patrol. Jibbs was getting antsy, and everyone was pissed off.

"Alright, everyone," Morte said out loud to his rebels, "that thread from that scout was a loud of horse s***. Pack up, we're out of here. Shaka'll be pissed at this news."

Jibbs inhaled on a cheap cigarette he had rolled from a few plants in the area, and looked around nervously. "Are you sure, Morte? You never know..."

"Listen, you little mother f***in' piece of s***, they're not coming, you f***ing hear? Now pack up your ass. I'm gonna skin the f***er who wasted my time when we get back to camp."

The team let out with a chorus of amen, and stood up to go.

----

Partially down the way to base camp, Morte stopped. He had a natural instinct for when someone was around. He sprung out his hunting knife, and parted back the bushes.

He signaled for his men to bring up his rear. He headed out into the small opening in the path, and looked around. A shot rang out, and scraped off the bark of a nearby tree. Morte pulled his head back.

"I think," he whispered, "we found that patrol. Jibbs, you and I will head down on the Western flank. You guys, take the Eastern. We should get 'em in a pincer and come out with minimal losses."

Jibbs followed Morte around the bushes and back to the rear. Sure enough, 8 soldiers were scattered around the clearing back to base camp in strategic positions.

Morte gave a ready signal, and began to stalk through the bushes. Part way through, he froze. Gunshots rang out, and he saw two of his three other men fall. He turned around to signal to Jibbs, but he was gone. He had left a quite visible parting in the natural foliage, showing which way he had went.

"F***ing asshole, I'm gonna skin him alive when I get my f***ing hands on his scrawny f***ing neck..."

Another series of shots rang out, and lanced into his last surviving soldier. What he had planned as a good setup was wrong. Apparently, he had received false information. There was a sniper sitting up in the tree, and had successfully eliminated his team.

Swearing under his breath, he screwed a silencer onto his lucky Glock, and decided to teach that sorry bastard a lesson. He turned on the laser sight and placed the sighting dot on the sniper's head. He was still unmoving, waiting for more targets.

"I'll see you in f***ing Hell, asshole."

He sent one shot, but didn't check to see if it made its mark. He turned around, and got back on the path to base camp. Something was up, and he had to see that Shaka was informed.

"... We meant no aggression with our admittedly suprising movement of the 22nd and the Berlin, but it seems our international community has been quite surprised. --
The trucks rolled toward Siteki, interlaced with German armored cars. Feldwebel Malach sat in the passenger seat of the light armored car, holding his G-22 6.8mm Caseless Assault Rifle. The dust rolled, and in a flicker of his perhipereal vision, he saw them. Them being the Umbutfo Swaziland Defense Force, or what it used to be. The starving soldiers, apparently fleeing from the South Africans, still clutched automatic rifles. A few unarmed ones began rushing toward the food trucks, as interpreters ordered them back. A soldier in the back of Malach's armored car stroked his MG43A4 SAW, until a hiss and crack announced a bullet traveling through his forhead. The soldier next to him yelped as his friend's brain fluid and blood splattered over him, until another bullet went through his hand. He screamed, shouting curses at the shooters outside.
Malach spun in his seat at the nearest armed man. He did not have time to realize it was the one who had fired, the 6.8mms worked too quick for that. Above, the .50 MG gunner cocked his weapon, and grimaced as he opened in concert with the other vehicles all across the convoy. The faithful but quick thudthudthudthudthud of the weapon was loud enough to drown out the other fire, even from the bigger guns, like the Wiesel's 25mm automatic cannon.
"Arschloche!"
The soldier behind Malach continued cursing as he fired his weapon. A radio order signaled the cease fire, not that there was much to fire upon. The Swazis lay in bleeding heaps, and occaisionaly a wounded moan eminated from the bodies. Malach called a medic for the soldier, and looked back at the massacre.
"Gott... Gottfluch es."
He wondered what would happen when the media got a hold of this.

Today, Prime Minister Gorrman Confrimed the attacks on the relief convoy at the Mozambique border, which killed 3 soldiers and 4 aid workers. Calling it 'an offensive manuver into Mozambique', Gorrman declared a state of war with Swaziland, and mobilized 11 ships, including an arsenal ship, 6 Destroyers and 4 Frigates. Uncomfirmed reports say a submarine fleet is also being moved...
OOC-Notes on German ship design- All based on USA concepts for "Stealth Vessels", such as the DD-X and Zumwalt concepts.
IC-
Germany and the 3 other subs in the wolfpack silently pushed through the water with their "Caterpillar" drives. They were capable of diving deeper than any 20th century naval sub, and most 21st century as well. They took good advantage of this as the commanders, one by one, informed their crews of the situation.
4 British ships were inbound, possibly with the intent of stopping them.
If they did, it may end in the first true vessel to vessel battle of European nations since the Second World War.

IC:
Alfred Koningsman was picked up from the embassy, and escorted into a black mercedes with black windows by several agents. The car began to move, and Alfred was nervous, he could not see where they were going.
After about half an hour Alfred was blindfolded, led out of the car and into an unknown building. His blindfold was removed, and he was searched thouroughly before being escorted into an elevator. They took the elevator downwards for twelve levels. Alfred was then escorted into a small room and the agents left.
The room was sparingly furnished, a polished, oval oak table dominated the center of the room. Eight chairs sorrounded it, one of them larger than the others and elabouratly decorated wth wooden carvings. Behind the main chair a large wooden panel showing the.."what?"...the hammer and the sickle, was situated on the wall. There were no other decorations. Four doors led out of the room, there were no windows. Seated around the table were three people dressed in military uniforms. At the head of the table, in the large chair, a large man with a moustache was smoking a pipe. He wore the decorations of a grand-general. To his left was a man in his thirties, showing the rank of major. And to the Generals rigt a whoman of about thirty was seated. She had her hair in a topnotch and wore the signs of a colonel.

"Pleaze, pleaze comrade, sit down" The General gestured to the chair opposite him. Alfred noticed that the general had called him comrade. Introductions went round, the general was called Chuckov, the major Bragin, and the female colonel Larissha.
"You may proceed comrade-major"
"iz it zafe to speek?" Bragin gestured at Alfred.
The general nodded. "Very vell" Bragin said. He pressed a button on a remote, and the wooden panel on the wall slid apart and revealed a video screen. It started playing a slideshow of black-and-white pictures, dead people, wrecked bodies and similar gruesome scenes flitted acros the screen. After about 3 minutes major Bragin pressed another button and the panel slid back together.
"Ve have ze rezultz from ze tezt comrade-general. Ze nerve-gaz performz admirably. Ze children were terminated in lezz than 2 zecondz, ze adultz took longer, from 2 to 4 zecondz."
"Excellent" the general said. "This exceedes our expectations. And they were all exterminated I trust. No-one alive to tell the tale to anyone?"

The 4 KF-2 Geist fighters swept over the Mozambique border, their menacing forward swept wings bristling with weapons. Active radar cancelers shield their approach, as they home in on the target data provided from a UAV circling the Swazi military encampment.

Prime Minister Gorrman and his military aides watched the UAVs view through satellite communications. Infrared showed the hot outlines of Swazi soldiers and campfires among the airfield, along with warehouses of supplies and weapons.

The KF-2s peeled off into groups of 2. The first was armed with GPS guided cluster bombs, which flew off their wings and into the encampment.

Gorrmann stared at the screen as the base erupted in what seems like a thousand explosions, to be followed by napalm canisters spreading their deadly cargo. He turned from the screen as the figures began running and rolling madly.

He did not stick around to see the vicious and efficient heliborne assault.

"Peace-loving diplomats arrived today in Berlin to negotiate future co-operation between the mother-land and Germany. The president said earlier today that he believes fully in the German people.
In Swaziland the German troops have attacked several military camps. Estimates are of around 500 dead Swazi soldiers, more information is still comig in. The German Prime Minister, Gorrman, said in a speech today that there was good reason for this assault. *recorded quote from earlier speech is played*.

Ralph was wondering why the hel Swazilanders would attack German aid forces. He was also wondering what to do about it, he was so worried about a war that would break up his allies, and cause a war.

The Canadian troops were on stand by waiting for orders, he decided to make the order.

He picked up his phone, "Move get the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry ready to go. And what have our black ops in there figured out yet? There has got to be more than what I'm seeing here."

"Nothing yet Sir, they've barely arrived"

"Yessir... They're gonna deploy near the South African border."
The General and the Major sat in the trench, the soldiers around them firing at oncoming Swazi militia, which were once again sneaking over the borders and rushing the HQ in Mozambique. They had struck during the General's drive in, and fortunately the General and Major had exited the vehicle before it was hit by an RPG. They got up, and made their way through the outer trenches toward the bunkers. A series of explosions from 81mm mortars filled the air, and the sounds of gunfire from the direction of the Swazis ended.

Meanwhile, a series of cargo ships, with the men of the 3rd Armored Division, began offloading 20 miles to the North via LCAC. Things were about to escalate.

"Contact them."

"Unidentified Aircraft! This is the German Army! Identify yourselves and turn around or be destroyed!"
The Specialist saw the nod from the Lt. and ran over to a machine covered by camo netting, which was linked up to the portable generator. The "weapon" was based upon the US military Microwave weapons, ones that were rumored to be used in 2003. However, it was much deadlier in purpose. The dish could emit the proper amount of energy to overload every electronic system in it's way, or burst flesh like a potato in a microwave. It acquired it's targets through a network of EMS sensors, which monitored background radiation that did not naturally occur to find artificial materials. It got a bear on the first aicraft, as the Specialist set it to fry the electronics like bacon and eggs.

The helicopters swept over Swaziland, their FLIR systems allowing them to see the Swazi troops fleeing through the brush near the South African border. And then something else happened, they saw men. They had no ground forces in the area, and the 2 7.62mm miniguns swept through the 10 men, and 3 other choppers joined in as well. A Special forces captain saw their uniforms, but knew they weren't his men, and the only covert units in the area were on the helicopters. Another thing was that German squads always worked in groups of 12.
Who are these people?

Ten minutes passed and he still waited, his partner should have been here, he stood up to investigate and crepts around the German bodies. His worst fears were right their. One of the stray machine gun rounds had struck his partner in the chest, and head, not only that but it took out their longer ranged radio, not only that but his emrgency beacon was probably usless this far behind other nations lines.

"These are German Regular uniforms, similar to the ones used by the Mechanized Division we have in Mozambique. However, these units have not yet moved into Swaziland. Also, the soldiers of this unit travel in 12 man squads. There were only 10 bodies found. All Mechanized Division regulars would also not act detached from their APCs, and when they do, they move in the hundreds, not in indvidual squads. Now how do you know they are not the 22nd or the Special Forces? Let's examine the combat dress of them."
He held another poster.
"As you can see, they use the digital dot pattern similar to that used by the USMC. They also always wear the unit patches on their shoulders. The bodies were in the traditional Woodland-Pattern camo uniform, and had no markings whatsover. They were not wearing dogtags. You are the UN members barbaric enough I have just recieved an email identifying the men as having British ties and citizenry! But you fools do not know enough to figure out what uniforms our men even wear! Ask any intelligence expert whether or not we have sent the armored divisions to Swaziland! Ask your beloved friends in MI5! You are cowards and you are warmongerers!"

"There can be no doubt. Following this "argument" between Great Britain and Germany, not to mention the wealthy nations control of the security council , I believe we are safe in assuming that the UN has finally buckled. Interior infighting is causing the whole structure to fall appart at it's core. The victors after WWII were supposed to always agree and maintain the balance in the council. Alas, this is not the case now. It is true gentelmen, the UN has lost it's power and influence."
-UN ambassador Mikhali Sergetov-

In Moscov
"Vell I am glad ve all agree." Colonel Larissa smiled warmly at the foreign ambassadors." I must remind you once again that this is a top-secret meeting, you were never here." Finally, she thought. It had taken over a week of negotiations to get them to agree to the terms. Now, nothing would stand in the way of the mother-land.

Meanwhile general Chuckov was enjoying himself by moving miniature sodiers around on a map of south-africa.

OOC:
may i ask what you mean by preparing for my invasion of Asia? Surely you do not think that I would be so stupid as to attempt to simply march my armies through all of asia, the middle east, cross the suez canal, and just stroll through all of Africa. Let me tell you that the only possible way of reaching africa, my target, is by sea. All this talk of Asia is nonesense, you should know better, you generlas should know better, and not send their troops on a wild goose chase.

"Warmongers! How come this information came out AFTER we had accused you of Brutality? How come only now we see that we are to blame? Doesn't it seem, Hon. members, the slightest bit suscpicious!?" A few "Hear, hears" sounded from the the crowd, but most were silent, pondering their fate. "I give germany our Ultimatumn. Remove from all Southern Africa or we will attack."

General Tout rang the military as he watched. "Send two bettleships to South Africa. No escort. make it look like a show of force. The germans will be overconfident. We will break them."

"Our crew on the Intelligence comittee decided this was the confirming piece in the puzzle. Doesn't it seem odd that our friends in South Africa have not complained? Doesn't it seem odd that only the British have complained about this? Doesn't it seem odd 10 men with the uniforms of regular infantry would be found 90 MILES from their unit? Doesn't it seem odd that the nation that came to South Africa for gold and diamonds in the 1890s and 1900s is the one mobilizing WEAPONS OF LAND BOMBARDMENT to the nation's coast? This nation is one that wants UNPRECEDENTED CONTROL OF ONE OF THE MOST WEALTHY NATIONS IN NATURAL RESOURCES! They see us as in the way of their disgusting, greedy, bloodthirsty plot for control of the world's economy! They wish to split NATO and the UN apart so they can better control this nation. And some of you may have doubts on whether this is true. Well, if you do, GO ASK THE BOERS!"

OOC: PLease explain to me where your forces are marching. If they go through The pacific, getting too close to Japan is offensive, asnd I don't see any other possible way except going through the artic ocean, where your troops would freeze, or going through Europe which would lead to war. You cant even go near China Japan or Britain as it is. So I ask how do you plan to transport thousands of troops over to south Africa?
March them through Iran or Soudi and then ship them all??? Or go through sweden and Norway?? Which is it??? PLease explain so we don't have any DIFFUCULTIES..... Then I may be able to revise my invasion plan....

OOC:Sorry I've been off for so long. Finals and the flu take a lot of time.

<South Africa>

President Fadaku has reacted in a panic after reading the recent reports of foreign militiarys in and around his country. Stepping up the already high alert of his military forces, his generals have been comanded to begin detaining any foreign military power found on South African soil. Naturally, this is dificult to inforce, but never the less, the troops have been given thier orders.

Abroad, diplomats have begun arranging meetings with their opposite numbers of the countries in question, hoping to learn what is going on.

<OOC>If you've got troops stationed in or near my country please telegram me with your "ahem" official "ahem" compliment of soliders and your "ahem" official "ahem" intentions. i.e. If it serves your purpose to lie to my face... do it! </ooc>

No other actions have been taken at this time.

OOC: I am Rping the real world, this means that I will not "march my armies" anywhere at all. I have a plan for colonisation of south africa, but I cannot tell them to you because I do not believe that you would be prepared for what I intend to do no matter what. Russia is mobilising, and this takes time, that is why I have not started an invasion yet.
Also, remember that this is RL! That means that Japan is highly unlikely to conquer Russia while it's back is turned.
I repeat again, I will not walk anywhere.
15-12-2003, 21:33
OOC:Then Japan shall not attack. I just sent that as a message to China to get ready incase that is the case. WE don't really know how "smart" you russians are.... Just doing an easiest case scenario kinda thing. We will not make our real plans and we will wait for a time for invasion. That is all I will tell you.

"Comrade-general! The target is in sight, repeat they have the target in sight!" Major Bragin shouted as he burst into general Chuckov's office. The grand-general turned around, he looked slightly ruffled, adn his face was red. "Excellent comrade. Order them to fire at maximum range, and avoid detection or capture at ALL costs." "As you wish, comrade-general" Bragin said, clicked his heels, and sprinted out of the room. Chuckov got up, closed and locked the door, and said. Allright dear, you can come out now. He smiled as he watched colonel Larissa crawl out from under the desk. "Now, where were we?"

"The captain licked his lips, this was the tricky part. He spun his periscope around and looked for other ships. All clear. The two battleships were in range, barely. He had his orders, damage or sink one of them and run like hell. The "Argon" was a good ship, one of the newest nuclear attack submarines. She carried no markings, and only an experienced skeleton crew. There! The first battleship had it's broadside towards them, perfect. "Ready! Fire one! Fire two! Fire three! Fire four!"The captain did not like this, he wanted to dive now. But he had to see if they hit.
Four torpedoes sped through the south-atlantic water towards the British Battleship.

this attack against british ships is unconscienable, we demand that the russian government deliver a formal apology to the british people!
19-12-2003, 06:35
The Canadian government had not formalized a desicion on the argument, they had no clue. But the Black op did. (I'm guessing my black op is being interogated)

The black op, named David Doyle new that the Germans that he saw shot there were fake, "I know they aren't German, let me speak to my country, if they hear me they will help."

OOC:goodbye, everyone. I'm hereby embarking on christmas holidays and will be unable to post.
The assault on the british battleship was carried out secretly, I'm still awaiting a response from the brits. It is a covert operation designed to spark more anger between britain and germany and almost forcing germany into a temporary alliance with russia. As said, the sub carries no markings, and will do everything to not be discovered/captured/interrogated. merry christmas and a happy new year.
eh?

OOC:I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK! and there was much rejoicing throughout the land.

well britain, what do you do? I'd like to remind you that there are four torpedoes racing towards the two battleships.
Also, I suppose the gigantic mobilisation of Russia is just about finished, so I'm ready to roll.

info: in top secret deals/arrangements/threats/diplomacy the governments of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tadzhikistan have agreed to permit the transportation of russian war material and troops through their territory.

IC: Red Revolution had begun.
Azhi groaned and streched his back. He had been plauged by it for years now, still he had to work, if he didn't he would starve. There was not a lot of food in the Afghani soil, and the american occupation force took most of the food anyway. Azhi whipped the oxen with his stick again, and the beast began to lumber forward, dragging the plough with it. Curse this back, Azhi thought as the plough overturned rocks and dirt. Then he heard the noise. The oxen stopped and turned it's head, so did Azhi. There was a huge, dark cloud on the horizon to the north, but it was moving fast, and making a noise. Azhi stood there, as though petrified, and watched as it drew closer. He gasped, it wasn't a cloud. It was hudreds upon hundreds of planes! goddamn huge, four-engined planes! He had never seen such a sight. The flotilla of power soared overhead, obscuring the sunlight, heading south at incredible speed. Azhi stood there for half an hour, watching the last of the planes fade into the distance, wondering what this meant. He decided that was the american's buisness, and went back to cursing his back.

Prime Minister Sosuke was back in the small room with the round table and the 4 chairs.....

(Russian news flash from "Red Star")
(Background music plays)
"Good evening, I am Natasha Kaplinzki, an dthis is Red Star evening News.
Our great leader informed us today that our glorius troops have seized several pakistani ports including Gwadar, Orama, Sonmiani and even Karachi. Our fine soldiers met little resistance as the Pakistani defenders were dumfounded with shock. The massive operation was a cunning and daring air-drop operation, with the superiorly trained and equipped soldiers of the motherland parachuted outside all the major coastal ports.
The pakistani Government fled northward moments before the capital was taken, and the pakistani people naturally greeted their liberation from tyrrany with great gratitude towards the motherland. No civilian resistance has been reported, and our brave troops have seized the ports.
The colonies will soon be ours, we can only express our deepest gratitude towards the glorious soldiers of the motherland.
I'm Natashe Kaplinzki, and this is Red Star news, good night."
(Background music plays, Natasha smiles and shuffles papers)

INFO:
what is not mentioned here is the numbers of casualties, higher than expected due to a run in with a trigger-happy fighter patrol. Hudreds upon hundreds of massive troop carriers and fighters took part in operation Red Revolution, wich is no doubt a sucess. It's aim of controlling the ports has succeded. In Afghanistan, every major US military base or airfield has been systemastically carpet-bombed in the morning hours, and three lightly mechanised infantry divisions have entered the country from Turkmeniya. The Russian Black Sea fleet has left the black sea after intesive negotiating with Turkey and entered the mediterranean.
A massive propaganda campaign has been unleashed upon the pakistani civilian population, even telling them that Russian will guarantee Pakistan get their hands on the long disputed area of Kashmir. The Russian troops have, for once, kept their heads and no pakistani civilians have been shot or injured. The Russians are really trying to get the locals on their side. Plans for production of Russian warships and AA-emplacements at the captured ports have been set in motion.
awaiting response...........(smiles lightly)
