GEORGE ANDERSON: With just under 3 hours to go in the Hutu presidential election, we turn to our field correspondant, Marsha Thomson. Marsha?

MARSHA THOMSON:Thanks, George.

MARSHA: The latest poll results show James Roach has a decisive 47% of the vote as the election draws to a close. The two remaining candidates, Victor Trotska and Teppish Drekak, both have captured 26% of the vote.

GEORGE: At this point, should we expect an upset?

MARSHA: It's possible, George, but not very likely. You never really know till all of the votes have been counted and winners assassinated, though.

GEORGE: Have there been any more assassination attempts?

MARSHA: Trotska has received some threats, but nothing specific at this time.

GEORGE: Thanks, Marsha

GEORGE: And now, turning to local news...[cut transcript]

ANNOUNCER: And now we return to Hutuian Election Coverage on ASN 63

GEORGE ANDERSON: Welcome back. With just under 30 minutes to go in the Hutu presidential election, we turn to our field correspondent, Marsha Thomson. Marsha?

MARSHA THOMSON: Thanks, George.

MARSHA: The latest poll results show James Roach, with 41% of the vote, has been able to maintain a comfortable 9% margin over his nearest rival Victor Trotska. But the gap has been closing in recent moments and Trotska with 32% is by no means out of this race. The Green Party candidate in this race, Teppish Drekak, has also had an impressive showing, garnering 25% of the vote at this time.

GEORGE: Thanks, Marsha. I understand the three candidates are currently inside the Hutu Parliament Building with you. Can we speak to them?

MARSHA: I'm afraid not, George. Government security forces are not currently allowing visitors, as they fear assassination attempts as the election draws to a close.

GEORGE: Alright. Thanks, Marsha.

GEORGE: We'll be back in a moment.[cut transcript]
