For too long, the democracies have persecuted fascists, fundamentalists, socialists, and Nazis for their differing beliefs from those of democracy, and have waged a moral war against the labeled "bigots". The Dictatorship of Archaic Slang Words is putting its foot down, and asks other fascists, fundamentalists, socialists, and Nazis to do the same.

Articles of the ADU (Anti-Democratic Union)

I. No nation wishing to join the ADU may be, in any way, shape or form, adhering to the principals of democracy, as outlined by the Magna Carta, or other such democratic texts.

II. No nation wishing to join the ADU may be associated with the UN, and will shun and condemn the usages of the UN as a means of oppressing individual governments. No UN members shall be accepted into the UN.

III. All members of the ADU, whatever their individual beliefs may be, whether they are fascist, fundamentalist, socialist, or national socialist, will be discriminated against by any ADU members, and will work together in each others' defence against the ever persistent democratic menace.

IV. In times of crisis between members of the ADU and outsiders, members shall provide substantial economic, military, or political aid for the furtherance of our cause.

V. Consistent acknowledgement of this agreement is required. All aftersigned members of the ADU shall post in a selected thread to keep communications and important issues at the attention of every member.

VI. All members have the right to leave the ADU when and if the need or desire should arrive.

VII. All ammendments to the articles of the ADU shall be made by mass rule. That is, 95% of all members of the ADU must be in favor of the change.

VIII. Any fascist, fundamentalist, socialist, or Nazi regime posing as that of a democracy is welcome among the ADU.

IX. Upon joining, any UN member has 2 weeks to quit themselves of their affiliation with the UN before being expelled from the ADU.

X. Nations within the ADU may not exact hostility against one another. Those who do enact hostility against fellow members of the ADU shall be suspended from the alliance and monitored by an assigned nation.

XI. Should a nation on temporary suspended from the ADU continue to act with hostility towards members of the ADU, that member will receive full expulsion and an ultimatum demanding what the threatened member sees fit as compensation. Should the expelled nation not compensate for the nation, it will have hostilities enacted against it.

XII. Normal suspensions from the ADU for enacting hostilities against members will range from 1 to 2 years (NS).

XIII. Acts that can lead to suspension and possible expulsion from the ADU include but are not limited to a change to instill a democratic regime, open alliance against a fellow ADU member, attempts to incite war on a fellow ADU member, acting out war against a fellow ADU member, joining the United Nations, and/or failure to aid during crisis or political turmoil.

XIV. Acts that can lead to expulsion from the ADU include but are not limited to the above mentioned while committed during temporary suspension.

XV. Once expelled from the ADU, the offender nation will no longer be permitted to rejoin the ADU. A nation within the ADU will be assigned to monitor the offender nation and check on political operations every week.

Comdido, you are welcome. The best way to keep civilians in check is to keep them naive as to what really transpires. As long as you are not a democracy at heart, you are welcome.

Keam's post of calling us democraps and the way he talks about democracy is making me break our arms deal and alliance. The Keam and Kildom are hear by have no political ties.

You aught to read my post marked "outrageous!", you will see where we are coming from. I am a psycotic dictatorship with compleet controle over my masses, with a police and military state but I am trying to join the United Nations. I believe Nations in the UN should be admited, some of us realise that True world power can only be achieved by apeasing the larger states in controle long enoff to take them over. The United nations armies can enter any country in the world, with that power in the right hands :twisted: .

The UN is a way of democratic oppression. The ADU does not and refuses to endorse any member of the ADU who is also in the UN. We are sorry, Tremiles, but you must decide which is more important: fighting international democratic control, or being a part of it.

We hope you will choose the former. For the cause.

aye, but to oppose them you will be crushed quickly. You must realise that the the democratic way is to live by what sounds good, not the truth or reality. To be stark, it can, and usually is, to be living by a large margin of lies. Youd be best to stay out of the UN befor it effects your economy and miliary capacity.

Socialism does not neccesarily entail dictatorship. Anhierarch, for instance, is a thriving, avowedly socialist nation that upholds to the highest degree the ideals of democracy. While socialism is a very broad umbrella term, I think you'll find that the majority of socialist nations in NS are very democratic indeed - apart from the ones who don't know what socialism is.

The Empire of Nummenor endorses the ADU, but regrets to say it cannot join the organization, as both denouncing socialism/communism and then joining those 2 in an organization would be somewhat contradictory.

OOC: Socialist Democracys is an OxyMoron, Socialism is a government type as is Democracy, you can have Democratic Communists and Socialist Capitalisms. but thats about it. Socialism does have elections, wheather they're honost democratic elections or not depends on if the UN is looking. Thats my Two Cents.

The Nation of Hutu turns to you, as the Nation of Credonia has again seen fit to deign from its proposal to help our nation in its power needs. It has for the second time backed out in its 'helpful' ways which have been nothing more than a menace to our peoples, and beliefs. What we ask of you comrades is, that if possible, we know not all nations in this Union have nuclear capabilities, but if we are not mistaken a couple do. We ask of those nations to get together with a team of scientist and engineers that have in the past worked with Credonia on their first proposal for a nuclear plant. These Scientists and Engineers have the knowledge needed, all that is needed is a blueprint to follow. Also, our nation has a healthy deposit of Uranium, and we have all the disposal facilities for the plutonium byproduct. We hope this does not fall upon deaf ears.

Well i can send along several scientists. In fact i'll get them on a C-130 and transport them along with some construction men to your country. They should arrive in about 4 (rl) hours. We will be happy to help you build those plants.

OOC: I am not interested in joining, just think you should t-gram the nation Szechwitz as they might be interested. If you look at them, they are the antithesis of democracy.

We couldn't help but take notice of your new alliance, as at least on the surface, it seems to have a few things in common with our own - the NDA (Non-Democratic Alliance) (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=60132&highlight=).

This is not the first such alliance, nor shall it be the last. The Non-Democratic Alliance (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=60132) was formed specifically to defend against overzealous bigots such as yourselves. While we are not associated with the ADU, we watch for ill-considered comments such as yours. Terrorism is not tolerated by our alliance, and neither is democracy by force. We suggest you mind your own business and leave these people to theirs.
