Haven Two opening its markets: Food, silks, pearls, power.
The Commonwealth of Haven Two would like to offer trade to the world at large; we have vast stores of basic foodstuffs, for prices as low as ten cents US for a one-day supply per person, as well as silks and pearls of very high wuality and large power reserves. Interested nations are asked to contact the Haven Two Foreign Relations office at earliest convenience.
((OOC note: Just for reference, I've got hard numbers on the production capabilities of my nation, and can back it up with detailed engineering data to interested parties. The prices quoted are realistic.))

Haven Two is most certainly in need of gold, though as an advance warning, we expect this need to dry up within the space of a few decades. We do not, however, see any end to the scarcity of dairy products here. The foodstuffs we have to offer are marine in nature, including abalone, anchovies, clam, cod, conch, crab, green turtle, herring, lobster, mackerel, mussels, oysters, and salmon. We are currently capable of exporting three megawatts, but new generators are coming online on a regular basis, and if the arrangement is extremely beneficial we can bring up dedicated export generators.
Haven Two romtar would be most intrested in detailed list of items your have avaliable and prices are.
expect us to palce an order as soon as we have some details
regards from romtar.

OOC: Just thought I'd pop in with a little into on the electricity market.
I belive the RL market price for electricity in North America is a little over .06 cents per kilowatt hour; at this price 3 megawatts would sell for $1'500 a day. The Canadian province of Ontario, I belive, commonly exports atleast several gigawatts to the USA.
Selling raw power would also requior you to either have an interconnected power grid, that you lay new power cables, or find some other way to transmit the electricity to the buying nation.
Our primary product by far is spirulina concentrate - an extremely small amount of this, $0.10 USD worth, will feed an adult man for one day. We are offering it at $2.20 USD a kilogram. We are offering crab, abalone, conch, and turtle at $16.50 per kilogram, a wide variety of shellfish at $5.50 a kilogram, lobster and shrimp for $16.50./kg, mackerel, herring, and cod for $4.40/kg, silks for $11/kg, and paper for $0.55/kg. Pearls, depending on quality, will be sold for $5-1000.
All prices are in US dollars; if you wish the values in Havenite or your own currency, you have but to ask.

Exchange gold for food and power is an acceptable trade. Trade should begin soon.

OOC: Honestly, I shouldn't have put power up for sale this early in the game. I made a mistake; I was looking at final figures, and forgot to adjust for current production capability, before I tried to sell. So now I'm stuck trying to stick to prior statements even though they're ludicrous. As for the required infrastructure, part of the extant plans for these systems involves laying masses of cable to a semi-distant site anyway; unless they're in the polar regions, it really shouldn't be much of an issue. (Haven Two is entirely tropical, entirely oceanic, and entirely man-made.)

I do believe that the godd ambassador has skipped a few steps in his eagerness. What quantities will you require, and what do you consider fair value for your products?
