With anti-air ground fire no longer shooting, the A-10s had a free hand to hammer the remaining trenches with high explosives. In the air Glorious Humanity's F-16s and TAF-11Xs had a substantial edge over the remaining MiGs, although the MiGs had managed about ten kills. The RPGs had had a little better luck against the Abrams tanks, and a dozen of the attack vehicles weren't functional anymore.

The Canadien Bacon forces are holding, but should Muverk execute more prisoners, we will be forced to attack.

The Muverk port had been heavily damaged by the bombing runs, but a couple docks remained. It was to one of these that the Glorious Humanity transport ship GHS Manmover pulled up, trailed by two ships that stayed out to sea.

Standing on the deck, Major Mitchell Olsen watched as the ship tied up. Behind him were five hundred Federation Marines, the naval soldiers of Glorious Humanity's ships. Their M-16 assault rifles were slung over their shoulders, and they all stood ramrod straight in neat lines. They were to be an honor guard for the prisoners being taken home, and to emphasize this they were wearing their Class A formal uniforms.

The soldiers marched off the ship in perfect step, up the dock, and stopped in front of the Muvark officer that greeted them. Major Olsen snapped off a sharp salute at the man.

"Major Mitchell Olsen, Federation Marines. We're here to oversee the transfer of the prisoners to our ships, and serve as an honor guard on the way home."

The loading of the prisoners took about an hour, as the three transports each pulled up to the dock to get their share on board. Then the Marines reembarked, and the transports pulled away, headed for Blue Window.

Major Olsen sent medics around to check over the prisoners for injuries, and sent a message to Naval Command informing them the pickup had been successful.
