Microbrits are warmongerers, starting an unprovoked attack on a peacefull nation in a peacefull region. There has been a dispuit in the M00n in which The Empire of Cuthugun has declared war on The Free Land of Athenzos. Nibbleton and The Twy-Sunrats nad have kindly declared there support for us and have given Cuthugun amble opportunity to apologise and step back from its declaration of war.

We in Athenzos are only a small nation with little military spending. We urge any larger nations to help get this situation resolved peacefully, by putting a stop to the warmongering of Microbrits and Cuthugun.

May i point out that at NO TIME did Nibbleton state that it has links to terrorism. We are a peaceful, liberal country who is currently trying to improve our struggling economy, and has no time or money in order to support terrorists.

Petrovyan froces are preparing for the long march towards the nation of Microbrits. Though the total number of forces are unkown to the public, it is certain that this is a very large force. They are predicted to arrive within a month (NS Time).

This morning the Nibbleton IIS (International Intelligence Service) published it's dossier of information regarding the NationState of Microbrits which has been collected since the beggining of the hostilities.

As you can see from this document, Microbrits are an unstable and violent nation. I am not asking that we attack Microbrits, as Nibbleton is a peaceful nation. The SwordMaster carrier task force has arrived in international waters off the coast of Microbrits, and engaged in patrols at the moment. Aircraft are flying CAP (combat air patrols), and search for enemy planes. Now the fleet need only wait for the order to freely engage enemy forces from the NCA (National Command Authority; normally the President, but the VP is taking over for now, as I'm out of the country, and I trust Bryan with my life).

As chief of foreign affairs for the nation of Twy-Sunrats and loyal but unaligned freind of my fellow nations (Nibbleton and Athenzos) who are viewed by my people as brothers in arms I protest at the insane warmongering of an obviously unstable dictator! While Saena does not have any sort of sympathy for the government leaders of Microbrits, we do have pity upon the people underneath their rule, who have suddenly found themselves trapped as unfortunate victimes in the middle of this conflict.

As a result of this, a pair of military transports are now headed towards Microbrits, and will airdrop food, bottled water, and vital medical supplies to the Microbritian people.

I also issue this grave warning to Microbrits: Should either transport come under fire, or should you deny any of your people access to the airdropped supplies, this will be interpreted as an act of aggression against your own citizenry, and will bring quick action of Saena's military into this conflict."

The prime minister then turns away from the podium, and briskly walks off into the wing of the dais, out of sight of the cameras, her message delivered.

Microbrits' bombers on their way to bomb SteamEarth were met with the Defender fighter planes of the IAF (Thanks Niketown).

The Defenders came in fast firing away with their .30-caliber machine guns, until banking off over the wings of the Microbrits bombers. A number of the Defenders were shoot down, yet they still managed to down seaveral of the bombers and inflect a large amount of damage which left the bombers with no choice but to turn tail and flee.

Imperial Forces are pushing into Microbits, and have taken 2 towns, and more troops are pressing towards the capital. Overhead, bombers and fighters are heading in the destroy Airfields and Military bases to end Microbits Air raids and win the allies air superiority.

The pair of C-5 transports make it to the Microbrits border. The escort which had been accompanying them departs and turns back home, and the two transports set a course headed straight for an area that had been recently bombed by the invading forces.

A broadcast goes out on the standard comm channel:

"We are not here to fight. We are on a mission of mercy for the people of Microbrits. Refrain from firing upon us."

The rear bay hatches of both transports then open up, and out drops a number of bright yellow containers. After freefalling for a distance, each container automatically deploys a cargo chute -- soon the sky is dotted with the bright orange of open canopies.

The transports close their bay hatches, pulling up sharply to head for the next drop zone...

As the Twy-Sunrat forces brought down the terrorist forces, Nibbleton commando teams raced to the downed aeroplanes to rescue and treat any survivors. We have captured a total of 54 pilots and other personell from the crash sites, all others were either killed or remain MIA. The POW have been treated for their wounds and are being well-kept, in fully humane conditions. However, we are keeping the prisoners in secret locations throughout our major cities, if you continue to attack you will be killing your own people.
We will happily return your people to you, unharmed. All we ask is that you justify your actions and hostilites towards us.
If we do not recieve this, we will hold your people throughout our cities until you have been defeated and peace is restored once more.

At 3,000 feet the torpedos acquired their targets.

The torpedoes reached their top speed (40 knots) and sped for the ships. They never knew what was coming, until it was too late...

At 1618 hours, Major Johnson made a nationwide procaimation of peace on live televison.
"My citizens, a few minutes ago we recieved a message from the Head of State in Microbrits. The War has ended. Microbritanian forces will be withdrawn from our borders, and peace will return.
We offer our deepest gratitude to all allies who helped us during these times.
To those who sided with Microbrits during the conflict, we can only ask that you consider your actions further next time.
Those whose homes were destroyed in the bombing will be looked after in temporary shelters until the cities are rebuilt.
I thank you, Peace be with you all."

All POWs have been escorted to the Microbritanian borders unharmed.

Nibbleton has refused the offer of land in NW Microbrits, but does request funds and aid to shelter the homeless while the capital is rebuilt.

The torpedoes hit the sides of the ships, exploded and caused the oil in the tanker to catch fire. A huge explosion was heard, as the ship itself blew up. The supply ship also blew up, and was seen to be heavily damaged. (Of course, I can't say they sank, you can, MB.)

After the News reported of the cease-fire, Bryan ordered the fleet to Defcon 2, and the fighters returned to CAP, with missiles still on them. The fleet will stay a while to monitor events.

Chairman Donovan grinned although he played only a small role it is pleasing to see the war ended although he has little faith it shall be really over. He cancels his order for conscription... but all forces maintain posted and on high alert.

Microbrits, Twy-Sunrats shall be watching you... waiting to see if you attack any other young upstarts...

The Saenaian air-relief squad was one of the last to recieve word of the ceasefire, and even then, they still had a job to complete before pulling out.

Three more zones inside the nation of Microbrits recievied airdrops of humanitarian relief, before the pair of massive C-5's departed for good from the region.

They land at a Petrovian installation just long enough to refuel, before taking off again towards home.

Since the war is over, there is no further need for the presence of troops in a nation that seems to have been won over by our ideological opponents. Therefore, we are pulling out our troops.

Since the crisis seems to be over, the SwordMaster carrier battle group steams home, and planes drop special biodegradeable detergent to help clean up the oil.

Petrovian Marines took the news that the war was over sadly. They packed up, and trudged back the way they came.

If Microbits attacks another nation without good cause, we shall annex them wether they draw their troops out or not.

Warmongering will not be tolerated. Troops are being taken from the captured towns and Medical equiptment will be taken in.

We advise that all allied nations force micobits to scale down their army to about 2,000-for defence purposes. that way if they ever increase their army to invasion size, they can be annexed for breaching the treaty.

After some consideration we have decided that Microbrits’s choice to withdraw is adequate reason for us to protect them from any nations who would see this a an opportunity to annex another young naïve nation.

Basically we tire of the constant harassment that these nations get for making some rather stupid mistakes. Normally it would be policy for Iuthia to watch these nations crash and burn, leaving them be for the shark like nations in the world… however, with the Microbrits withdrawal, we see this as an opportunity for them to start over and maybe even look into where they went wrong.

Any further aggression from either Microbrits or towards him by other nation will not be tolerated. Let us think about what transpired here and leave the past where it should be… in the past.

Monte Castello pledges $15 billion in aid to the reconstruction efforts of the Nibbleton government. We will support the Nibbletonian government in any future conflict with the aggressive (OOC: and godmoding) nation of Microbrits.

OOC : Anyone notice how Microbrits says none of his people were killed, even though the nation was attacked? Strange that.
