What's your tech level? I think what Arribastan said would be good but if you are fantasy or future I could help you change it.

Just "future" is too general, though. Realistic future? Or fantasy future (energy shields, FTL travel, etc.)?

Well, what tech level do you have? Are you a modern or near future nation? A space nation? A fantasy (mideval) nation?

Well, if youre modern or near modern, you can probably get by with several hundred tanks, and at least 50,000 soldiers (not counting support personell) Or, you could probably forgoe ground weapons all together and focus on air power, so you could probably get 200 f22s. Unfourtnately, a nation your size probably won't have a large navy, so no super carriers for you (yet.)

And just so you know, the entire CF armed forces totals about 70,000 including support personell. :)

I'd say you are way of with those tank amounts.

Here's my suggestion:

Medium tech version:
500 000 , 200-300 tanks, 100 airplanes, medium navy

High tech version:
200 000 infantry, 800-1000 tanks(including APC's), 250-300 airplanes, good navy

Okay, keep the infantry they're fine. You'll need to buy future versions of the tanks (I can grab links to storefronts that sell such.) And you might want to change the 500 bradleys into powered infantry.

The 10 Uh-1's Replace with dropships or fighters that are also futuretech.

Not a chance, He's got only 8 million pop. Having all that would kill him in maintanince costs alone!
