Well, you could have maybe 100,000 soldiers, couple hundred tanks...stuff along those lines.
Well, assuming your military service is nonj-compulsary, you can have it anything up to 8 million. Just keep in mind, a good percentage of that 8 million people are elderly persons and young children. This may be considered godmodding, but you decide it as you alone can make the ruling as to how you want to run your government.
