Here is an excerpt from a speach made by the Secretary of Defence, Heero Yuy.
"Two days ago the Nuclear Anti-Terrorist Co-Operation currently consisting of two nations was alerted into action as an Unknown Terrorists took control of a Neo Yamato Nuclear Submarine and threatened to detonate it in Dock.
Port security was at the time due for a shift change, and even then precuations were in in place to prevent such breaches of security. How they got in is still unknown and Neo Yamato top brass are deep into the investigation. The people responsible will be brought to justice and the criminals will be found, I assure you."
The Secretary of Defense goes on:
"Fortunatly Neo Yamato had no WMD on board the vessel so the incident was secluded into the dock and not other nations.
NATCO sent in a special task force to take the submarine by force and managed to shut the core down before any breach could occur. The men responsible are being held in maximum security facilities until the investigation is complete.
The NATCO officials were commended on their actions and swiftness in the recapture of the submarine. The Submarine has been taken from active duty and it being thoroughly combed for evidence. The results of which will be published on Neo Yamato Nets"
The spokesperson for NATCO also commented on the situation.
"I am glad to have been able to serve The Federation of Neo Yamato as best as we could. But we could have been faster if there were more nations in NATCO. At the moment we lack the power to interfere with larger nations but with more backing from other nations we can assist each other in stopping terrorism all together."
