"Lastly is the Daedalus, a counter strike weapon system. Also near the Icarus the Daedalus is capable of blanketing large areas of the earth with an Ionization attack, causing electronics to suddenly reverse polarity. This can cause the electronics to explode."
"In a press conference today the Empress Judge of Nights Whisper expressed her joy at the project's completion and assured all concerned that the SunFlare was for defense only."

'I understand your worry that this means our nation will now become one devouted to war, I assure you that is not going to happen. The Icarus was made to make our nation great, the Daedalus and GoldenEye are there to keep it safe. I ask that anyone with concerns over this program please contact my office. Right now, in the wake of the accomplishment, we must look to the future. There are hundreds of other items being researched, most of them medical but some are military. We must now turn our focus to finishing them and starting others, only by doing that can our nation grow strong.'

"We interupt this program for a message from the Empress Judge, ruler of Nights Whisper."


A woman, tall and slim, stands before a lecturn dressed in crimson robes of state, robes that have not been seen since the founding of Nights Whisper. After a few seconds she begins to speak.

"Good evening. as of several hours ago Nights Whisper is officially at war, our medical divsions being the first ones to arrive on the field. Our troops, armed with the best technology we can offer, will be joining shortly.
Many of you are now sitting at home terrified by this news but I ask that you trust my judgement in this matter. For years I have protected you, I have guided our nation to the best of my abilities and I would do nothing that threatened to destroy us unless I felt it was truly needed.
Even as I stand here now people are suffering, unable to experience even the most basic of human rights, the ability to love who they want. They are being rounded up and slaughtered, something I hope sickens you as much as it does me. Thousands of refugees have already fled to this nation in the hope that they can find peace here. I truly wished that they had. Now I must ask them the same thing that I must ask you.
Our nation has never been excessively wealthy but we do our best and help eachother out when it is needed. Now our very way of life is being threatened, for if we don't stop such rampid hatred now it could spread throughout the world and consume us. We can not stand by and hope for the best, we can not simply dismiss the issue, we must stand up and oppose tyranny and genocide.
I must therefor ask, good people of Nights Whisper, that you join me in the defense of our nation. I have to give the call no leader truly wants to give. I call you to arms, as a nation and as individuals. Our factories can supply us and our lands feed us, it is time for us to leave our safety behind and fight to secure the rights of others. I know that you love this nation, how can you let any threat to it survive? Come people of Nights Whisper, come heros, come Crusaders, come and join the battle!"
The woman lifts her fist into the air, the rod of the Empress Judge glinting above her head.


The announcer's face returns, replacing the image of the Empress Judge. There are tears in his eyes.
"I don't really know what to say. this was such an unexpected announcment."
He holds his earpice closer to his ear.
"We are recieving reports about activity near the capitol. Yes, yes, the Empress Judge is leaving the national capitol aboard Whisper One. It appears that Whisper One is on course for a location beyond our borders."
"Another report coming in. There appears to be some kind of riot or something in the streets near the capitol. Correction, a rally. This is incredible. Apparently responding the Empress Judge's call to arms, thousands have taken to the streets of the capitol, flooding military recruitment centers."
"We will keep you up to date on matters as more information becomes available."
