Picus Airborne Combat Vehicle (Designation AC-1)
Being the first independently-built military vehicle to come out of Saena, the Picus ACV was borne out of a need for a light and nimble infantry transport that would be effective both at home and abroad in a multitude of environments. The wide tracks of the Picus give it the ability to navigate deep snow banks, and its boat-shaped hull along with two rear-mounted water jets make it a true amphibious vehicle. Standard equipment also includes an NBC (nuclear, biological, chemical) protection system, night vision equipment, and adjustable hydroneumatic suspension.
The Picus is also capable of being airdropped with a full complement of ten men inside the vehicle, enhancing the element of surprise associated with airborne operations.

Beam: 39 feet
Draft: 12.5 feet
Displacement: 675 tons
Horsepower: 2500 bhp
Power plant: 2 1500bhp Diesel engines, 900 VDC, 1.4 KA 1100 KW propulsion generators
Propellor: One 4-blade, 7.5 foot prop @ 335 RPM
Ice-breaking depth: 22 inches continuous, 40 inches by backing and ramming
Ice-breaking speed: 4.3 KTS
Cruising speed, open water: 12 KTS
Max Speed, open water: 15.2 KTS
