How about becoming future-Tech?

I have decided i wish to become a future tech nation, all of you who play war hammer 40,000 will know about the necrons, i wish to make my nation as much like a necron world as i can, including the self-repair. I weill accept casualties in wars so don't think i will use the "self repair" ability to god-mod.

The necrons were once a mortal race, who travelld the galaxy to find answers. Eventually they found inmmortal beings called the old ones, the Necrontire as they were formally known, thought it was unfair that some beings should be blessed with eternal life and they should be doomed to die, so, they went to war with the old ones, and, suprisingly, lost. They retreated back to the ends of the galaxy were they waited. Through there observations of the suns and planets in there galaxy, they found beings being created from stars, then consuming them, with these gods they made an agreement, it was: If the necrontire became there servants, they would become immortal. Wheather the necrontire truly understood there agreement will never be known, but they cared not, for they would be immortal. Armed with weapons of god like power and ships that could cross the galaxy in the blink of an eye, the Necrons were ready to begin there war anew, this time, they emerged victorious. They returned to there home worlds after enhiletaing all life in the galaxy, and there, they waited...For thousands of years they remanined in stasis, until the time was right to plauge the living once more

Know you know a bit about there back ground, what do you think?

Log Entry {2300003.M42}
After several months of examination of the Pyramids on the worlds Quasiar, Benegtra, Mortarion, Carti, Graeto, and Levindo, and extreme and thorough examination of the remains of their warriors from may battles, we have come to understand somewhat how these creatures called the Necrons work.

Necrons are foul machineries created in the visage of a humanoid skeleton, armoured with a metal alloy stronger than all armour but our loyal Marines' power armour. This alloy has not yet been named - I have the Techmarines working on that now - but it has many interesting properties that I thought I should report.

The metal alloy that the Necrons are armour with is extremely durable, yet highly flexible. My Techmarines reported it able to bend with little pressure. The plates of armour will become as fluid as skin to allow the Necron movement, but the Necron's internal sensors allow it to sense an incoming shot and harden its armour plates until they become as dense and hard as ceramite.

This discovery was only made when we had learned of the Necrons' "nervous system", a system of inter-connected wires and sensors that allow the Necron to "see", "hear", and "feel". This nervous system also sends the commands to soften the metal armour plates for movement, giving an almost instantaneous transformation into rigid plates of metal.

We have found that, though these creatures do possess a weak prescence within the Warp (giving rise to theories of Necrons having "souls"), they are not able to channel Warp energy through their bodies. The same metal alloy that protects their body also blocks out Warp energy, making it impossible for a Necron to cast any psychic power. This has also made it harder for them to be harmed by psychic powers.

Necrons have an internal system similar to our immune system - it will destroy harmful substances that enter the body, wipe out programs designed to destroy the Necron's memory, and even repair the Necron! This has caused many a panic when a Necron thought to be destroyed has risen up and attacked once again.

Necron "society" is made up only of warriors, as far as we can tell at this point. We have encountered no other form of Necron. It is possible that the Necrons are an ancient race of robots designed for fighting and killing by a race long forgotten. The Necrons show signs of being likened to some alien civilizations found in the Macharian Conquests, but it is unable to tell whether the Necrons are related to these alien races or, if they are, how the two races got separated across the galaxy.

We will continue to look further into these Necrons and their "society" and report our findings as they are made. We are moving into orbit over Hydyrmede, ready to investigate the Pyramids upon that planet. We will be sending down a force of Marines along with the Necrons. Their squad assignments are included with this report. These Marines will protect the Techmarines and XenoBiologists as they search through the Pyramids and recovering "sleeping" Necrons. Our Techmarines have devised devices that prevent the Necrons from reacting, we only hope we will be able to attach them before the Necrons "wake up." This race is one of the most dangerous we have encountered so far, and we are taking no chances with them.

Well, the only thing i can say is they seem infallible, there should be some drawback to you RP'ing as them, especially at such a young age.

Well, if they get squahed they cannot regenerate, because the systems used to do the regeneration is crushed, they cannot repair after an explosion, in both cases i have stated the yare teleported back to the HQ for repairs, and also, if they sustain to many casualties (over 75% of there force) all the "survivours" are teleported bakc ot the HQ.

actaully, necrons are not nearly as powerfull as some people appear to think

only about 50% of the necrons can actaully self-repair after sustaining severe damages, necrons that are blown up, squashed, splattered or otherwise killed in an extremely nasty way that would involve the spreading of materials and blood if it were to happen to a human is almost certain to destroy the necron.

the thing that does worry me about a necron nation would be that fact you have no home, necrons are a nomadic race.

another thing would be that necrons like you said are only warriors, therefore they would go to war against any and all races they encounter
