Although around 70% of military personnel are not invloved in direct combat operations, recent military operations have shown that aircrew, vehilce, drivers, logistics troops and other non-infantry peronnel need to be armed with more than a 9mm handgun for self defence without the cumbersome and unpractical draw backs of assault rifles. To counter this problem the Elias Firearms Bureau has devloped a personal defence Weapon (PDW) that fills this gap.

The PDW-46 is a compact weapon designed to pierce body armour and offfer increased stopping power over 9mm SMG and handgun rounds, so far extensive orders have been taken from all branches of the Elias military, the Federal Security Bureau, the Border Protection Service and a range of Elias Police forces.


Design

The PDW-46 is laid out as a compact submachine gun, with magazine being inserted into pistol grip, with folding forward grip and telescoped buttstock, but it designed to fire special, high velocity ammunition, 4.6x30mm, that looks like scaled down rifle round.. The receiver, along with the pistol grip, is made from the polymer with steel reinforcements and on the top side of the receiver there is a rail for sight mountings. The action of the PDW-46 is somewhat unusual for weapon of such small size, since it is gas operated, rotating bolt design, which strongly resembles the action of the HK G-36 assault rifle, suitably scaled down. The ambidextrous fire mode selector/safety switch allows for semi-auto and full-auto modes. Unlike other weapons, the PDW-46 could be fired single-handed, or from two hands, either like the pistol or using a front grip. Telescopic buttstock can be extended to give additional stability. With buttstock and front grip collapsed, the PDW-46 can be carried like any big pistol, in the special holster, and can be effectively used in close combat, so this is why it also can be used as offensive weapon by different special units in close quarter battle.

The 4.6x30mm ammunition is loaded with spitzer-pointed, all-steel bullet with brass jacket. Bullet weight is 1.6 grams and the muzzle velocity is 725 m/s. The bullet offers 100% penetration of the CRISAT body armour which is standard design in most countries with military and police forces (1.6mm of Titanium plus 20 layers of Kevlar) at the distance of 200 meters. The round is a conventional brass-cased cartridge designed for optimum efficiency with low weight and felt recoil to increase hit probability.

Our organisation stands for the rights of the common man and greater social equity as well as an abolition of the Monarchy. It was originally concieved in the chaos following the assassination of the Tzar as an Alliance between the Communist Party and the National Socialist Worker's Party, both of whom led seperate revolts in different parts of the country. We are now in control of most of the country, although the new Tzar has sent an army from Fasta Benj, the second Nation the Tzar presided over, to attempt to reimpose his rule on Dyelli Beybi. The other Factions are a Third rebel group in St. Guinefords (Sandersgrad) led by the self-proclaimed Pope as well as the second in line to the Throne who is attempting to seize power in the East of the country.

Although the PDW-46 is severally inferior technologically to most of our current military weapons, we find the PDW-46 to be extremely cost effective and are interested in purchasing 10,000 PDW-46s immediately. We plan on using the PDW-46 as the standard weapon of our police force.

Basically we are willing to meet supply. We currently have 181,423 combatant troops. We are outnumber 7:1 in armour and 9:1 in infantry with the rebel ranks swelling with conscipt units from the cities. We have no aircraft worth noting although we do have a stronger Navy at this stage although they are lacking in supplies. Our men are currently armed with a selection of AKs but we are finding it very hard to secure ammunition for them.

magazines can be supplied relatively cheaply if oyou require it and the price if a 20 round 4.6mm clip is $28, the Tavor assault firle on other hand uses standard NATO 5.56mm ammunition therefore we assume you have greater access to this? If not we can sell these ammo types to you as well.
