Wdo to a rising threat in other nations building bigger ships, the Western Might Space Defence Force had Commisioned the start of the boulding of the FRS Neo She plans to be the biggest ship in the fleet at over 4 km long. The project will take a estimated 13 years to complete and cost well over 10 trillion. Her plans have not yet been set in stone as several design companies fight for the rights to biuld her.

Work on the FRS Neo is going well and is going as planned. As of now she is 32% and will take another 9 years to complete but her secondary power cores are to be installed within the next month. All other information about the is classified but the SDF will allow reporters to come to the ships commision.

In the past two months huge steps were taken to finishing the launch on time. Which included the activattion of the main power cores and the ships main weapons systems. The frame of the ship is now fully constructed, with the hull at 76%, since several main systems have yet to me bround aboard. And the ships engineering crews has come aboard and are geting to know the ship inside and out.

The Sovietian Empire wishes you luck with your project as we to have built a giant space ship back in the day i think it was 25km long i do not know if i still own bragging rights tho

You peopel and your massively large ships........You cant have as many large ships as you can small ships. (my longest ship was barely 1km long..............i think ill have to check my history of comdidian space ships on my other comp and im too lazy to.)
Western Might
11-12-2003, 02:20
Not all my ships are this massive the core of my fleets are made up of ships betwen 300 meters and 900 meters only may cap ships, carriers and this newest flagship are much larger that that.
11-12-2003, 02:21
Yeah same my large ship was only my first ship to kick-off my launch into space i usaly have one man fighters in my fleets

Western Might, for your help in the Hammerhead and JFK/Constitution projects, Adejaani wishes to deploy a small contingent to ensure no "annoyances" can interfere in this ship's launch. Furthermore, a small delegation will be aboard one of the ships to observe and congratulate you on your achievement, should you wish.
Western Might
11-12-2003, 02:32
Both the delegation and 'small contingent' are welcome. the ship is being built at the construction yards near Basestation New Hope . Which is hard to miss now as it is out beggest space facility.

In the viewing dome security was tight as some top civilian and Military figures waited for the commision to begin. Eveyone had to go through ID checks DNA and X Ray scans.
The press were one the other side of the room setting up their equiptment When a balding Goverment official steped up to the podium. " Ladies and gentelmen. I welcome you to the commision of the FRS Neo Newest flagship of the Space Defence Fleet. "

The tint in the windows faded giving a wonderful view of the ship pulling out of the spacedock. The design had changed in the last years of its construction. New technology had come about that would make it more effective in battle. And also another 450 meters were added makeing it almost 5 km long and added the newest in anti ship, and ship defence weapons.
Now out of the Spacedock the fleet of supporting ships formed up around it and the fleet took off for the hyper gate to start it's shake down tour.

Aboard the ANS Hartnell, there was polite applause from the Adejaani representatives as the Neo left its moorings. "Send our congratulations", the Captain of the cruiser noted, "then signal that we still offer our services to prevent any 'incidents' that might spoil this lovely day."

OOC Just a quick question....wouldn't a 4km long ship have a heck of a time turning? Wouldn't take too much of a turn angle to turn it over, either....

It is a space ship.
Of course, I imagine that you are right about its turning, unless it have vectored thrusters on both sides.

OOC *Slaps forehead* I'm an idiot. Of course, sorry about that....yeah, a 4km long spaceship wouldn't find turning hard. Would need bigger retro-rockets tho...but that is your design, not mine 8)

" ANS Hartnell this is the FRS Neo we would be glade for you to join us on our shake down cruise just follow us to the hyper gate."

Captain Foreman, aboard the ANS Hartnell, ordered the engines to engage and the ship surged forward to the hyper gate. "Hartnell signals ready to go."
Western Might

The hyper gate charges up its energy field as the ships pass into it. with a great flash they fade out and are gone

On the other hyper gate, the ships fade back into normal space. off to port a planet could be seen. But this one had one major ladmass witht e rest being water and small Islands.
Also seen (on scaners) are several other ships. far out in the system doing battle manuvers and seem to be in a wargame.

"Welcome FRS Neo , guardian task force and ANS Hartnell . You are in the Near Goro IV. This is the SDF training area. Please move 180km bereing 21 degrees and await there for further orders"

"Impressive training facilities. We have to get one of those for ourselves." Captain Susan Foreman noted. One of the newer additions to the Fleet, the more enhanced experience and training she and everyone else received had come from a distant speck in the far night sky where the Adejaani Fleet, in conjunction with its allies had fought an extended campaign against the Sha'Ra. Tactics and equipment had been tested and blood shed in what, those days was essentially survival of the fittest. With a fair amount of deep space combat experience to draw upon, the Adejaani Republic Space Corps boasted fine ships and personnel, but no military person ever considered their training adequate.

"I wonder if we'll be allowed to participate in this....." Foreman wondered aloud as the Hartnell swung to the course prescribed.

Aboard the training station. Golden Temple

"Sir do think it wise to let another vessel see our training technics."

"Captain Sabar your worry is well noted, but I see no danger in letting one of a friendly nations ship train here. Our list of allies has grown short since our leaving of the Arda alliance. If they ever move against us i would like to have allies to call apone for support. And letting ships from friendly nations is a way to get them. But the will now have access to 100% of the systems avalible to our own units."

"I see Admiral. Do you want me to send a communication to the ANS Hartnell ?"

"Yes Captain tell them they are allowed to dock with the main station. And send the same to the Neo I have a feeling that the Captian of the ship would like the rest of his crew."

"Yes Sir" The Captain turned and left to send the message.

I write to thank you for the opportunity to observe the training exercises of the Western Might military. As such, I'm authorised to extend, in the short term, use of all Adejaani military facilities, training ranges and academies reserved for the Space Corps for an indefinite period. Perhaps in the future, there can be a lasting alliance between our two nations. For now, the Hartnell shall remain with your forces and your nation, to act as liaisons until something permanent can begin.

Regards

The SDF would be glad to hoast the Hartnell and her crew. And let them take part in the war games and fleet exersices that are taking place. We woiuld aslo hope in the future that a alliance can exist between out two nation. Maybe after we see how the crews of our ships and the Hartnell get along, then we might talk about a alliance.

Xanthal has two Apocalypse class ships that are bigger than a small planet. They are immensely powerful against single, large, slow-moving targets, but are useless against almost everything else. Forty years and 200 trillion dollars later, consensus is that it was a colossal waste of time and money, not to mention resources. Anyway, we wish you luck.

You know, I suppose this means nobody else is using wooden ships anymore? Ahh, pour l'amour du Christ! Just what I said was going to happen! We update them with EMP cannons and chain guns, and use the same old wooden ships. It's all moving just so fast...Our biggest ship is somewhere along 455 feet long, and uses 17 sails backed up by engines, oui, but somehow I feel we fell dreadfully behind the technologie curve.
