Several factions within Dyelli Beybi have called for aid from overseas Nations in resolving the bitter civil war which is going on. Currently the People's Revolutionary Army, controlled by the Communist Party and National Socialist Worker's Party is in control of most of the Nation, although they have retreated from the western border, after troops loyal to Prince Henry advanced from Fasta Benj.

The first faction to call for aid was that headed by 'Prince George'. "Nations of the world, our Tzar has been murdered by his foul first son Henry. As such his right to the throne is void. We ask humbly that the International Community lend aid to our cause."

The second call for aid came from the People's Revolutionary Party. "Dyelli Beybi has long suffered under the boot of Tzarist tyranny. Now it is our chance to free ourselves from the yoke of the nobility and bring power back to the people, however, without International aid, our brief flame of freedom may be extinguished. Long live the Repulic of the Djel. Heil Himmler!"

The third call came from a small group in the North loyal to Prince Henry, "The Rightful Tzar of Dyelli Beybi is Prince Henry. We call upon the International community to come to our aid and help install the rightful monarch on the throne so that he may rule over the whole Djel, as is his divine right."

The final call came some hours later from a bunker in the city of Saint Guineford's, " Dyelli Beybi is a Nation tearing itself apart. Here in Saint Guineford's the troops of the Papacy have attempted to keep anarchy from spreading. However the forces that contend to rule this country have laid seige to and assaulted our fair city. Doing enormous amounts of damage to the Cathedral. We call on all Nations to send International Peace Keepers into our city to hold the agressors back."

Concurrently as the Nekoa Bay negotiations are occurring we cannot offer any military support. However, as the People's Revolutionary Party seems to have promised limited disarmament in an intercepted radio transmission, we choose to offer supplies and logistical support to that group, this may escalate to ground bombardment provided the FKC can be prevented from any attacks on us for doing so.
We respect any nations right to choose it's government, the fact that we are a monarchy is counterbalanced by our citizens' decision to enthusiastically support that monarchy. Ergo we find you slightly more comfortable ideologically than the other groups.
Supplies and equipment will be airdropped to designated locations.

OOC I'd offer troops and so forth after the negotiations are done, but my ground forces are future tech, whereas navy/airforce is modern/near future, so easily changeable.

While we are grateful for the lending of this equipment, we fear there may be problems in getting it into the city. The outside is ringed by forces loyal to Prince George, and Tzarist shipping regularly patrols the coast. The city has been shelled on several occasions by such ships. Our own tanks have taken a heavy hammering, although the Admiralty compound which was a Tzarist enclave in the city has fallen. How do you propose to gain entry to the city?

The medical supplies are already airborne, our own carrierborne aircraft, which incidentally a sizeable chunk of which are off your coast anyway, will escort the heavy lift aircraft in. They'll be clearly marked as humanitarian aircraft and considering the current state of affairs in Dyelli we don't think any faction is stupid enough to antagonise any other outside nations by attacking them.
The armoured vehicles we can help with, our own heavy armaments industry only recently retooled to a highertech base, we're still capable of building and supplying Challenger II and Warrior armoured vehicles and indeed would be willing to supply the secondhand ex army vehicles themselves for a moderate fee in a lend/lease agreement and a guaranteed discussion of alliance in the event of your victory. This option would allow you to deploy them almost immediately, if you could find us a port we won't have to fight our way into. We could shift them overland, but we're unsure as to whether the nations surrounding you would allow us to ship military equipment through them at this time.

Unfortunately it is a small port and may not be able to handle as large ships as could Cyro or Saint Guineford's. A large portion of the Navy is loyal to us. The outgoing President has decided to make one final action in the world before the President-elect shrouds the Republic in Isolationism again, in the hopes this may spur them to remain on the international stage. To this end, the 6th Armored Division (3,500 Infantry, 130 Light Tanks (Think Sheridans, and other light tanks), 240 Heavy Tanks (Leopard II's, Challenger II's, M1A2's), 500 M2A2 Bradley IFV's, 30 Tank Destroyers, 90 Assault Guns) has been mobilized from the Home Guard, and is currently being sent to support Prince Henry's forces in putting down the Rebellion.

Captain Edwards sighed in relief as the small port he'd been directed to at last came into view. The sooner he got the tanks weighing down his ship offloaded the happier he'd be. He looked back from the cupola mounted on the roof of his bridge at the other massive Merchant Marine cargo ships following him, and then back at the HMS Merlin carefully sweeping ahead for mines. Edwards rubbed his sleeve up over his forehead, a nervous habit which had steadily polished the hair on the crown of his head off down the years. The cupola radio crackled and he scooped up the handset and acknowledged.
"Edwards here."
"Captain, the Merlin reports that the entrance to the harbour is clear and that we're clear to go in. Unfortunately it's only big enough to take two of our vessels at a time, so we're going to have to wait outside the harbour before we offload."
Edwards stiffened "We're not. First in line so we're out of here as soon as we're done offloading. The Merlin can escort the two offloaded ships and then come back for an other pair. It'll take that long with the facilities here."
"Aye Aye Captain, that's what the Merlin's commander suggested too."
The huge ship was just nosing into the harbour as this conversation ended and it slid to a stop next to a an ancient looking gantry. Brown shirted soldiers were visible, along with numerous dock workers. Work began on offloading the ships.

While our nation is no where near currently ready for an international conflict we have contracted Khan Industries to begin transporting raw materials and finished products to assist your forces in battling the Communist Insurgents. The shipments will be protected by private security forces so there is no need for deploying any of your own forces for protection.

Usland Military Command has already informed us that the cargo will be payed for by them for as long as you need the shipments. At the docks below the convoy assembled rapidly, Khan Industries had a reputiation when it came to moblizing its naval assests quickly. The transports had already began to stream slowly between the massive cliffs and out of the enterance of the harbor. On the outside of Cape Suzette the three warships of the Khan Military Arm. Captain Hotspur of the KN Prowler stood on the bridge of the Battlecruiser watching as the vessels began to form up in the convoy formation.

"Helm, prepare to bring us about, and send a message to the other two escorts. I want to be underway before the sun breaks over the horizon."

Before day break the convoy of vessels would be well on their way toward the nation of Dyelli Beybi.Of course they would wait several miles outside of international waters for a signal to arrive from the Corporate Headquaters on where to dock and debark the cargo.

Within the Vrakian Corridor, the intel posts have been working overtime breaking (or attempting to break the more difficult ones) any coded transmissions to Dyelli Beybi and Fasta Benj while open communications were quickly sent to HQ. There, analysts and strategists poured over the information, and delivered summaries to their large and impatient masters.

OOC FYI Prince Henry is running Fasta Benj which is a semi-independent State to the West of Dyelli Beybi.

Reasonable fee would be around thirty percent off, for example a Barrett 82A1 fifty caliber sniper rifle would usually retail for around six thousand dutchies in Gernomalis so thirty percent off would be roughly forty-two hundred, but I digress. We would work out having package rates for SMGs, assault and semi auto rifles, heavy weapons as well as some AFVs. depending on the number you need and the types of weapons you can get, you can walk away with hundreds of weapons for only ten thousand. Comrades, we are glad that you are fighting a revolutionary war and we would be glad to arm your men to fight the good fight. All prices are thirty-five percent of for you. Please give us a rough overview of what you need and how many you need, this way we may be able to give you a little more of a discount. As for the troops, they can be front-line but mostly they are used for either covering flanks or special ops missions. They would hired out per platoon size (OOC: roughly US army size) and depending on the need for subtleness, we could have elite level troops or for the the flanks and dirty work we would send "repayment of debt" troops. What those troops are criminals that have chosen to repay their debt to society in one of the many para-military organizations, they are alot more "hardcore" and more likely to take crazy risks, but it doesn't really matter to us. They also are less afraid to die because for most of them, they would be on death row anyhow. Hope that was enough information for you.

Ok then, we'll provide you with weapons and troops, but at the end of this war, we would require some kind of deal. It doesn't have to monetary, it can be as simple as relations with your country or maybe a small trade agreement. For the troops, give us a rough number of how many you need and what kind you need(frontline, flank cover, special ops), we would require a small firebase to be set up to allow for weapon and vehicle repairs as well as a HQ for the troops. We can send the entire "repayment of debt" army, consisting of approx. a hundred and seventeen thousand troops, but the movement of the army would take about a month, we always will provide air and sea cover. You don't have to worry about AFVs(Armored Fighting Vehicle) either. Is there any particular area of the country where we can set up beachheads without drawing too much attention. Remember do not worry about payment until after this war, we'll work it out later.

Squad level weapons(pistols, assault rifles, light and heavy machine guns, and mortars) all together would come to five-hundred and fifty five thousand dutchies (a dutchie is worth 0.7 USD), which I'm sure with your economy would be spare change. We wish to hire this entire force. How much will it cost, as a rough estimate, as we do not wish to break the budget with this.
Unfortunately there is no way to enter the Nation without being noticed by any number of factions. Most of the deep sea off the coast is heavily mined so movement through this area is slow and tedious. There are two gaps in the minefield. One in the East and one in the West. To enter via the East entry one must travel through the territorial waters of Jiggardy, while to enter via the West one must move through the waters of Fasta Benj. At this point Jiggardy is the safest route. It should not take much to convince them to let you pass.

Firstly, I think it would be a good idea to keep OOC stuff in this (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=83990&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=200) thread, okay? I'll have to take another look Britmattia but I was under the impression that the basic conflict was confined to modern tech (this goes for all participants here). But Jiggady is basically right - there is no way you can field a larger navy than practically any FKC nation, unless the nation is younger or is land-locked. Sorry. Doesn't mean you can't meddle though.

Secondly, your IC and OOC observations about the situation and how the FKC are just that, observations. And observations can be wrong or based on false information. As well, it is entirely possible for you, or anyone else to misread a situation and then face unexpected consequences. Happens all the time.

Thirdly, this is a free form roleplay, correct? So what if Dyelli Beybi is upset about what Jiggady said? Both are good enough roleplayers to adjust to the situation. I'll give you a hint - this entire Nekoa Bay and Holocaust story is unscripted. Speaking for myself, I don't know what is going to happen next, although I can make some good guesses and do have some influence on the situation. So basically it's entirely possible to thumb your noses at the FKC but don't be too surprised if your "humanitarian aid" is intercepted. Has someone been reading LaCarre's book "The Night Manager"?
