Well, I don't have any mechwarriors...
However, this is a nation of mercenaries, and we'll fight almost anyone if you pay us well.

Taking into account your population and your economic status it seems highly unlikely that you could afford to even maintain an army of mechwarrriors, let alone purchase them in the first place.
For that matter, why are you even interested in them? The majority are unstable, poorly armoured and very few will survive desert regions. Similarly, mechs are poorly suited for many terrain types - mountains, deserts, swamps et cetera.

OOC: I said a nation of mercenaries, not a nation containing mercenaries. Everyone of miliitary age who is not absolutely necessary for the maintenance of the country is in the army; that's how the nation gets most of its money. In times with a lot of military activity, they use this pay to buy food and other necessities!

How's about you start making decisions on issues to boost your economy and stick with something more modern tech, like an Abrams tank or something? Besides, a tank vs. a battlemech, the tank will probably win. Future tech eats it hard if there are smokescreens, mechs have poor stability, and like above mentioned, not really all-terrain vehicles, they're more expensive, and are generally less effective.
