New Hunter City (November 24): Two, mid grade bombs were detonated in the heart of New Hunter City, specifically targeting Shinrita Energy Commision Headquarters, and destroying the NHC branch of the Shinrita National Bank. Police and Government forces are investigating the series of bombings, and police forces have already captured two suspects in the bombings. NHC Police spokesman William Jefferson said the suspects identities will not be revealed at this present time, but said that the suspects were cooperating with authorities and were answering questions.
The bombings come one month after talks between President Seth Hunter and the Queen of Cookieton broke down, and a peace accord could not be reached, thereby breaking off diplomatic relations. The ambassador to Cookieton was also recalled back to Trabia within a few days. Police are still investigating the source of the bombings, but sources indicate the Queendom of Cookieton was responsible for the attacks. 29 people were reported dead, with 150 more wounded and rushed to Hunter University Medical Center.
After the attacks, President Seth Hunter boarded his private jet, and flew to NHC from Trabia, to look on the damage first hand, and to re-assure the residents that he will beef up security forces around the city. Although he did not address the Queendom of Cookieton directly, he did make a reference to the Queendom, saying "These dispicable acts against my citizens will not be tolerated. The person or people behind these attacks will be brought to justice, even if its the Queen herself"
