Only hours after the Muqmarekh trial has ended and a large shipment of Urainium arrive and was quickly stored in the vast tunnel network for security reasons, the terroist group now know as Shimdah sent an attack force into Ishmiel city to avenge their disopsed leader. The Shimdah attack force consisted of 32 Jeeps and Trucks with rear mounted .50 Caliber Machine guns carrying 146 men armed with AK-47's. The force was followed by another 3 trucks loaded with explosives. The attack began when the main force broke through the 2 northern check points killing 13 guardsmen of the Hutu Regular Army and wounding 4, the men that were left stayed ready for another wave to come, the 2 Kovert Korps men asigned to the first post persued on their motor cycles killing off many of the Shimdah befor being shot off their cycles and wounded.

The main attack force arrived in the city square catching everyone by supprise and slaghtering many civilians befor a Kovert Korp team quickly surrounded the area in their armoured transports firing tear gas and flashbangs into the force subduing and blinding them. Though they couldn't see the Shimdah were still firing their weapons actually killing many of their own men. Shortly after the HKK showed up the Hutu Tank Korp a small armoured division left around just incase a force like this made it in the city showed up. 12 Russian T-80's led by a T-90 roll into the square and blockade the exit path and as the smoke clears the square the T-90 loads a single High Explosive round firing it into the center of the colum of jeeps. The round explodes destroying 26 of the jeeps in their close formation and disables another 6 leaving none opperation the blast also kills 125 of the 136 that made it past the check point, of the 146 man attack force only 11 survive and they are wounded mortally.

The HKK loads the 11 men into the back of their jeeps and speeds off into one of the under ground tunnels and to a hospital built for POW's. At the same time a large explosion is heard neer the first check point to the South of the city and another at the North Check point. Two of the 3 car bombs went off killing the last 5 men at the north check point, and all 20 at the South checkpoint. With in moments a larger explosion is heard in the South-East sector of the city. The third truck drove through the perimiter and into a housing progect killing 65 and wounding 120.

The day ends and the dust clears, with the borders heavily guarded, 38 Soldiers Dead 1 Wounded, 94 Civilians dead, 184 wounded, 135 Terrorists dead, 11 wounded and Mohammad Al-Ishmiel pledging to the peoples of Hutu that every last Terrorist in his country and the surrounding areas will be routed out.

Thank you for you support, We are a small nation, with a small army, but we have devoted men, and a great manufacturing system that can supply us with great vehicle of war. Mohammad Al-Ishmiel stands befor his House of Commons for what seems like the 10th time today. This time requesting a voluntary draft.

"Comrades, after this recent act of terrorism I say we start the voluntary draft in our nation, we have the arms, we need the men to opporate them. We can no longer stand by and watch our people be killed by cowards. I leave this in you hands."

After a short debate the House of Commons votes the voluntary draft in 115 to 10. After news reaches the public men from all around the country line up to aide in the war on terror by enlisting and women eagerly take the jobs in arms factories. The Hutu Armed Forces goes from roughly 12,000 people to 250,000 people in hours. After signing up the men are sent off to be trained as quickly as possible.

Private Andrew Johnson and C compony of the 2nd battalion of the first light calvary division feels his spine tingle.

~This is a bad omen~ he thinks as his outfit desends on the Hutuian out post.

Everything is going as planned, no Free Antartican casualties, untill a Pvt. Johnson sees a sniper in some nearby woods, the sniper fires one shot, hitting Johnson's front tire, Johnson raises his "Greasegun" but is shot right between the eyes before he can pull the trigger.

All of a sudden a group of 300 Hutuian soldiers desend on the Free Antarticans There was one survivor, a Free Antartican Corperal.

Both Special Forces Groups, the 206th and 125th Special Operations Unit, were the first into the country. Several Black Hawk Helicopters and two pairs of C-130's dropped in the special forces and their HMMWV transports.

Major John Bradley the leader of the 125th radioed into the base, "This is Major Bradley we have landed and are preparing to move out. What is ETA on the rest of them?"
"They will continue to arrive in groups and will head inword. We are going to find out where the government wants you. Air support is being organized now."
"Roger that Bradley out."

The 125th and 206th mounted up and started towards the next LZ to the south to meet up with the next two groups as this message was transmitted.

Good news Comrades, we sent up our AWACS and surveyed the mountian the terrorist camp is on, and found them. They are located on the south face of the mountain at roughly 2,500 feet above sea level. Their numbers appear low and from our counts on them by insiders puts them at about 3,260. We located their main weapons stash along with automotive bay. If we act now we can take out thier wepons and transportation, and by that metaphoricly cutting off their arms and legs.

The radio message came in on a coded channel to Bradley as they linked up with the last element of the 125th.
"Ok boys were heading to the city. We got patroling to do and no one get caught of guard understood? We've seen a lot worse then this now move out" The Vehicles all started up and started rolling towards the city. The forces checked weapons, ammo and other equipment. The rolled along down the road quickly coming into the city as the next transmission came in for the 125th.

"Ok 125th they want us heading to help out in taking on the main camp. Air Suppot will meet us further ahead lets move."
As the 206th got set up in the city with patrols the 125th sped off towards where the weapon stash and automotive bay are.
"This is Blue Tango to oversight We are heading on objective. We are unsure on ETA is air support nearby?"
"Roger Blue Tango we have Air Support moving on your postion now a squad of planes and helicopter in route they should link up in thirty minutes and will continue with you and help take out objective. Oversight out"
The line went dead as the men got ready knowing they were about to get involved in one major fight if they didnt catch the enemy by suprise.

Meanwhile the 206th had set up their postions as they started to patrol the city.

"Thanks for the warning. I want the AH-64's to hit them with what little they can spare and we'll move in on foot."

About two dozen men got out of the lead group of HMMWV's and moved out of the road far enough away and then with help from the plane moved into a postion to attack the terrorists. They waited as they heard the missiles from teh apaches fly and hit then moved in quickly opening fire on the terrorists. While on a routine intel gathering mission a Marine Corp predator drone spotted a large convoy of jeeps with .50 calibre machine guns mounted on them.

The convoy consisted of about 40 jeeps. I had the Predator follow the convoy to see where it was going. The drone followed them for about 45 miles I'd say before the convoy split off of the road it was traveling and started driving through rugid terrain. The Predator followed them for about 15 more miles before the jeeps met up with an extremely large staging area.

The area had about 450 more jeeps, thousands upon thousand of soldiers (6,000 strong I'd say) and a few APCs. This force was assembled right beside a cave to the east of the former Shimdah. The Predator went in for a closer look and could easily see that these troops were from the former Shimdah regular army (not terrorists, but the regular standing force that they had).

I believe that this force could very well be considering an invasion of Hutu. Due to their numbers and the fact that they are outmanned in the hundreds of thousands- our Generals suggest that this force may be about to launch a campaign of guerilla warfare.

DECK OF THE BSS BIG-TIME 12:34 hours-

The roar of jet engines can be heard as Su-25K and Su-34 aircraft are being prepared for takeoff. Catapults are launching planes in the background.

In a matter of minutes a force of 40 attack planes is airborne, flying to the camp that the Predator saw. They arrive in about 30 minutes at 4,000 feet, and they turn on their air to ground radar. Each plane is heavily armed with cluster munitions and IR guided missiles. They head in low and release their bombs. The effects of the cluster bombs on the jeeps are devestating due to the fact that they're so close together. About 300 jeeps are destroyed on the first pass. The Su-34s then come in and drop their load to take out the remaining few jeeps, and then they break off to head home.

Enemy troops can be seen fleeing into caves and running off into the wilderness.

About 100 troops can be seen scuttling around out of barracks getting their gear on. Carrying a variety of weapons from AK-47s, to IMI UZIs, to M-60 machine guns, to RPGs each soldier is dressed in an artic/winter BDU.

The layout of the camp is shown-

The periods are all in there so that the picture wont collapse (these little doodles are hard to make)

Anyway- MG is a sand bag reinforced machie gun nest, the Ts are a line of tanks, W is a weapons storage building, S is a supply storage building (food), B are tent barracks, the As are a line of M2 APCs, G are anti aircraft guns and troops with stinger missiles, CCT is a command and control tower (which also doubles as a guard tower with a search light), F is a fuel tank, and O is a helipad with V-22 ospreys parked around it. The entire border of the camp is dug in with trenches and barbed wire. The only way in is thorugh a helicopter landing.

The troops get their gear on and board the V-22 Ospreys. Shortly afterwards the planes lift off the ground and switch to normal flight mode and take the troops to the cave area that was just bombed. There were sightings of enemy soldiers fleeing the area, this 100 man force is going to investigate.

The Ospreys reach the area and switch to helicopter mode and drop the troops off before leaving. Once they touch the ground the troops immediatley get off the plane and take cover awaiting a possible ambush. They wait but shots are never fired. The troops then split into 2 groups of 45 men each, while 10 others are left to guard the area with machine guns and RPGs. The other 2 teams are going to investigate the cave and the surrounding area.

Looking around they can see dead (and charred) bodys, destroyed vehicles, craters, body parts, and unexploded clusters all over the place.

The first team makes its way into the cave and turns on its nightvision goggles. They stealthily sneak in and come to a fork in the cave with 5 different paths branching out. They then split into 5 squads of 10 men and they each go down a different road. The troops continue on but they don't find anything. After about 45 minutes of this 1 of the squads sees a light ahead, they radio this in to the other teams who also continue investigating. The squad takes cover behind a stalagmite and they peak around and into the lighted area. Sure enough they see about 40 or so men in there discussing future plans, attacks and the like. Each man is armed with an AK-47. The squad radios this in to the other teams who start to head back to assist the other team. The 10 men each grab a grenade and count to 5 before throwing them in. The Shimdah soldiers try to scramble but the grenades go off killing half of them, the team then rushes in and a firefight erupts. The Shimdah troops were taken by surprise though and they were gunned down by UZIs. The squad takes 3 losses in the fire.

After this battle the team searches the cave as far as they can go and they don't find anyone. The caves have been cleared.

Meanwhile the 2nd platoon searches the surrounding area behind the caves. They make their way up a small hill and approach a wooded area with tall trees. The lieutenant pulls out a pair of binoculars and surveys the area, mainly focusing on the trees for snipers. When the coast is determined to be clear they proceed onwards and through the snowy woods. Looking down they can see many human footprints that look as if there was a panicked mob rushing away from something. Sensing that the enemy is near they proceed on. Suddenly a loud explosion is heard and 4 of the soldiers are down, 2 are dead before they hit the ground, another is seriously wounded, and one of them has his leg from the knee down blown completely off and is screaming in agony. Apparently he had stepped on a land mine.

The Lt. gets on the radio to the firebase-

Lt- We have 4 men down and we have apparently encountered a mine field, and we need a med evac NOW. We also request a mine clearing team.

Base- Confirmed, the V-22s are on the way. Get your men out of the woods for pickup.

Lt- over and out.

Knowing that the area wasn't completely secure yet he splits 10 men off from the Platoon to carry the wounded soldiers to the Landing Zone, and continues on with 36 men.

He then has 5 of his best trained soldiers (along with himself) pull out Army knifes and probe the ground. They come across 4 more mines as they continue on, fragily and ever so gently they dig each of them out of the ground and safely detonate. They continue to probe the ground in a straight path (putting small flags up to indicate where the mine was) until they come across a small stream, the troops then duck behind various objects (bushes, tree trunks, etc.) and the Lt. pulls out his binoculars and peers across the stream and sure enough- he sees a camp with about 25 men in it.

He then silently splits the platoon into 4 squads (10 men, 10 men, 10 men, with the remaining 6 staying there armed with M-60s). The Lt orders the first team to cross the brook and manuver in a position to the left of the base, the 2nd team manuvers to the right of the base, and the 3rd team led by the Lt manuvers behind the camp. Once everyone is in position the go-code is givin and the 4 teams go into action. Grenades are tossed into the camp and they wait till they go off, once they do (killing some of the soldiers)- they use the smoke cover to leap out and open fire with their IMI UZIs. Once the firing stops they storm into the camp and investigate the tents, inside they find an officer trying to hide under a bed, they take him prisoner and continue on with their mission.

Using their knives to probe for land mines they search a little bit more and then head back to the LZ finding no more enemy soldiers. The teams meet up and the V-22s come in and land. All of the dead and wounded soldiers are loaded into the choppers with the bound POW officer, and the mine clearing teams come in with their mine sensing gear and the 100 man team (reduced to 93 now) form a defensive perimeter around the area (with about 20 men escorting the mine clearing team).

Using their mine sensing gear- the team finds and detonates 12 more anti personnel mines. A fresh supply of troops come in to relieve them and they exit on the V-22s.

The casualty list is at 7 men. 5 are dead, with 2 seriously wounded. The enemy casualty list is at 75 dead with about another 1-2,000 killed in the airstrike.

[code:1:76382ce10c]Secret Wire from Bigmenistan to Hutu-

We are aware that your force is strong enough to protect itself, and that you have your security situation under control. However Bigmenistan forces wish to remain in the area to assist with the cleanup of occupied Shimdah. There are still enemy forces there at work, and until they are wiped out- the situation for the citizens of Shimdah will continue to deteriorate. We feel that we should continue on at work against the enemy undercover forces in Shimdah, although we will leave the security of your nation entirely up to you.

Our troops are going to remain because we feel that these terrorists are a direct threat to us as well, and we wish to see all of them hunted down.

And we are hereby announcing the beginning of "Operation Provide Aid". in which food, medicine, and various other supplys will be flown in via air transport to help the war torn civilians of Shimdah. We will have armed forces protecting our cargo planes and supply trucks incase the terrorists try to keep us from fulfilling this mission.[/code:1:76382ce10c]
26-11-2003, 01:12
Capital of Shimdah's main airport, 1200 hours-

Large C-141s, C-130s, An-225s, cargo helicopters, and V-22 Ospreys, in support of "Operation Provide Aid" are coming in and out of the airport carrying millions of MREs, water purification systems, bottled water, medical/first aid supplys, etc.

A glimpse at the aircraft parking area shows some of the parked aircraft taking on fuel, while others are having their cargo unloaded into transport trucks which are then driven to supply depots, where the items are unloaded and stored. A peak at the runway shows a massive An-225 Cossack on its final approach and landing, with about 20 more planes flying holding patterns thousands of feet above. It's going to be a long day for the unloading crew.

As one of the truck convoys drives up to the storage depot, another convoy is there waiting to go back out into the city to pass out items. Once that convoy (of about 32 trucks) is loaded up they head out, with an armed escort of about 25-30 men in the back of the trucks (total for all trucks) watching over them. After about 10 minutes of driving they come upon the citys main population center, where they get off and begin passing out supplys. A massive mob of starving people collapse on them right away, and the aid personnel pass out the food and water as fast as they can. One of the troops notices a small girl of about 7 years old, he goes over to her and gives her his snickers bar that he had in his pocket, and then walks off to help pass out some of the aid.

About 20 seconds later a loud series of ear shattering explosions are heard right where he was just standing and 5 of the supply trucks are on ablaze, suddenly gunfire errupts, apparently an enemy force of about 35 men has fired a series of RPGs at them, and the people in the mob start screaming and a panicked stampede begins. Noticing this the mob focuses on the crowd, and they open up on them with their AK-47 assault rifles. Private Jacobs and the rest of the team immediately take cover behind the trucky convoy and search for where the shots are coming from. Once they see the AK-47 flashes they open up with their own AK-47s and firefight begins. Most of the mob has cleared out, leaving many dead and injured civilians behind them. An RPG hits a truck that 5 troops are taking cover behind and they are all killed. 2 more RPGs hit and 12 more troops are killed with another 5 injured. A sergeant by the name of Jack Douglas looks out past the trucks and spots an injured woman of about 42 years of age, he rushes out and carrys the woman back to the convoy on his shoulders as fast as he can. While in the process he takes a shot to the leg, however he manages to get the woman safely behind the line of trucks.

Private Jacobs then throws a grenade in killing about 7 of them. The Lieutenant of the platoon by the name of Jack Stone calls in for air support.

Lt.- Shimdah airport, this is platoon Bravo, we have a massive firefight on our hands and we need air support right away over. (he then gives the coordinates)

Base command- copy that, expect the package in about 5 minutes

As the firefight continues 10 more Bigmenistan soldiers are killed by RPGs and gunfire. As the fighting continues more grenades are thrown in killing about 7 more of them. After about 8 minutes a pair of Mi-24 HIND attack helicopters show up and open up on the enemy positions with their 12.7mm machine guns, and 80mm S-8 rocket pods (they have 4 pods, with a total of 80 rockets).

The barrage is devestating, as the rockets fly in and level nearly the entire enemy force. The HINDs come around on their 2nd pass and release even more rockets and gunfire, until all of the shooting stops.

The platoon slowly comes out and goes to investigate, they find that the entire enemy force has been killed, with no survivors.

Looking around the team sees about 50-60 dead civilians that had been gunned down by the terrorists, and 27 Bigmenistan troops are dead with another 5 injured, about 12 trucks have been destroyed. Private Jacobs surveys the area after the battle and he sees the little girl that he had given the snickers bar too lying there motionless. He checks her pulse, but she's already dead.

Afterwards the cleanup team comes in and the dead, and the injured are loaded into the Ospreys and taken back to the airport. At Firebase Alpha, the captured officer is interrogated (and tortured) for information.

As the 206th and 125th linked up at the extraction zone the CO's talked for a few minutes as the 206th's equipment was loaded.
"I think it might be a good idea for your 125th to stay here for a little bit to make sure they are no more uprising."
"If the Commander agrees and so does the Hutu Government i think were willing to stay."
"Good i'll get in touch with them now"

The CO of the 206th talked with command about the possiblity of the 125th staying for awhile. Then they sent a message to the government.

-Unencrypted Message to Hutu Government-
-From: Major William West Commander of Special Forces-
We are requesting that if it is ok with you that the 125th Special Operations unit and some other troops stay behind in your country in case of another flare up of terrorist attacks.

-Message Ends-

"Now if the government agress, you and your men along with some combat engineers and infantry will stay behind in a camp untill you are ordered to come home understood?"
"Yes sir and if they don't want us staying?"
"You board the transports and come home. We'll wait untill they respond before pulling out."
With that the 206th continued to finish the packing up as fast as they could as the AC-130 gunship and other planes landed at allied air force bases and were debriefed.

===============================================

After a 9 hour long interrogation of the captured Shimdah officer, he revealed the following info-

1. They were massing at the cave to begin a campaign of guerilla warfare against Hutu

2. That about 700 soldiers escaped death from the airstrike and ran off

3. Members of that group are responsible for the attack on the humanitarian aid convoy which killed 27 Bigmenistan troops, and 75 civilians.

4. That he knows the location of some of those terrorists, because those are the plans they were making in the cave. They are living on the 6th story of a 15 story hotel building.
===============================================

FIREBASE ALPHA, 0300 hours (3 AM)-

the sound of aircraft engines can be heard in the background. 10 soldiers can be seen boarding the V-22 Ospreys, wearing solid black BDUs, with black face paint, the planes then lift off the ground and switch to normal flight mode.

A look inside the plane shows the 10 soldiers. Each troop is carrying an HK MK.23 SOCOM side arm with a silencer attached. 4 of the 10 troops are carrying HK MP5s, another soldier is carrying a SPAS-12 shotgun, 1 of them has an M-60 machine gun, and the remaining 4 are armed with M-4 Carbines. A glimpse at the right arm (bicep area) of each soldier shows a patch. The design on the arm patch has 3 triangles inside of each other, the first and smallest triangle is green, the second and next to smallest is white, and the largest triangle is red, around the triangles is a solid black circle. This is the arm patch of the Bigmenistan elite urban special forces.

The Osprey approaches the building that the POW officer told them about and hovers about 50 feet above it. The troops then wire in and land on the roof, once they are on the V-22 heads off. The team of 10 then split up into fire teams of 5 men each, one team has 4 guys armed with HK MP5s and another guy with an M60 machine gun, and the other team has 4 guys with M-4s and another with a shotgun. The 1st team (HK MP5s) hooks on rappeling harnesses, put the rappeling hook on a nearby exhaust chiminey, and they rappel down the side of the tall building. The other team uses an optic cable to look down the hall under the door, and then the guy with the SPAS-12 blows the door off its hinges.

They then quickly make their way down the hall and rush down the flight of stairs to the 6th story.

The other team continues rappeling till they are right outside the window of one of the rooms that the POW officer told them about. And they wait there until the other team is in position, right outside the door of another room with a terrorist in it. Once everyone is in position the go-code is givin, and team hanging outside throws a flashbang grenade in through the window, which goes off blinding and stunning everyone inside. They then swing into the room and secure 3 of the people inside. However terrorist had taken cover when the flash went off behind a bed, and he opened fire. A small exchange of gunshots occured, and one of the troops finally managed to kill him with his HK MP5, the team takes no losses. The soldier armed with the M60 heads out and takes a position by the stairs to guard incase anyone comes up or down to investigate.

While this was happening the other team blew the door off of another room and rushed in, however instead of terrorists they saw a half nude woman about to get it on with her man  . As soon as she saw them she uttered an ear piercing scream and starting throwing things at them. Muttering their apologies they rushed out and went to the next door and blew it off its hinges and they secured the terrorists that were inside (this was the right room), after this all happened the 2 teams made their way up the stairs and to the roof of the building where they were picked up by a pair of V-22 Ospreys.

8 terrorists have been captured, 1 terrorist has been killed, 1 window has been broken, 3 doors have been blown down, and 1 semi-nude woman has been extremely pissed off

But the mission is declared a success because we have new terrorists to torture for information.

That message was to me
"Major your orders are to stay here but out of Hutu Affairs only look for signs of terrorists."
"Understood sir."
He saluted him and then the final cargo planes and black hawks took off. The cargo planes headed north to the nearest allied airbase while the black hawks flew out landing on the transport carriers for the voyage home.

With the 206th now gone the 125th set up their tents and other things they would need and then getting right to work checking on casualties and supply lists.
"Well if we can do this quickly we can be out of here in a week. Ok Sgt. Johnson and Sgt. Mensin. Get your little bird ready to take off you and a team of eight men will be flying up to the mountain to check on the remains of those terrorists"
"Yes Major" They saluted and ran to the helicopter getting it ready to fly.

My forces are going to remain in Shimdah. While major hostilitys ("Operation Counter-Strike") have ended in victory- we still feel that a threat is posed until these terrorists are completely eradicated from the region.

As can be seen by the recent terrorist attacks that have been carried out on our humanitarian aid personnel.

If we were to leave now without moping things up- It is in my opinion that they would try to rise to power again.

The periods are all in there so that the picture wont collapse (these little doodles are hard to make)

Anyway- MG is a sand bag reinforced machie gun nest, the Ts are a line of tanks, W is a weapons storage building, S is a supply storage building (food), B are tent barracks, the As are a line of M2 APCs, G are anti aircraft guns and troops with stinger missiles, CCT is a command and
control tower (which also doubles as a guard tower with a search light), F is a fuel tank, and O is a helipad with V-22 ospreys parked around it. The entire border of the camp is dug in with trenches and barbed wire. The only way in is thorugh a helicopter landing.

It is night out, not much going on. Troops are sleeping, officers are discussing future plans, guards are scanning searchlights on the camps perimeter from the tower. Just a peaceful night.

That is until a loud whistle is heard in the air, and a barrage of mortars comes raining down on the camp. The first one lands in a row of large tent barracks, the 2nd lands on the weapons storage depot at the bottom of the camp, the 3rd lands on the APCs.

As the explosions sound the troops immediately come out of their barracks with their weapons. Suddenly air raid sirens are heard and a large scramble begins.

The sites of the 3 mortar hits are on fire, and the fire at the weapons storage depot is slowly cooking the ammunition and gunpowder. After about 25 seconds the cooked ammunition goes off and an extremely loud, ear shattering explosion comes up from the depot

More whistles are heard in the air, and another barrage comes down on the camp. This time more tent barracks, a machine gun nest, and the food storage depot are all hit, with a few mortars coming in and killing some of the troops that were scrambling.

The V-22s begin to take off, and about 20 troops get into the remaining APCs and a search for the mortar site begins.

Shortly afterwards more mortars come and this time: the helipad, more tent barracks, random dug in troops, and the fuel storage drum are hit. In mere seconds an earth shaking explosion comes up from the drum, and all the surrounding V-22s are destroyed.

After a while of searching the V-22s come across the mortar site, and they call in the APCs.

After a couple of minutes driving the APCs come up on the site. They can see 4 seperate mortar cannons, with 12 terrorists at the site loading them. The APCs unload their troops and they open fire on the terrorists. Once under fire they ditch their mortars and begin firing with their side arms. But 9 of them are quickly gunned down, 3 Bigmenistan troops are fatally hit as the firefight continues. More gunfire exchange kills another terrorist, and the remaining 2 are hit in non-fatal areas and are injured.

The troops then load the bodys and the captured terrorist into their APCs and head back to whats left of the base. Fire fighting teams are seen fighting the various blazes.

Casualties- 85 dead, 27 wounded, 2 M3A2s destroyed, 5 V-22s destroyed, 10 enemy casualties, 2 enemy POWs.

The captured terrorists are immediately taken to underground bunkers where they are tortured and interrogated.

===============================================

Private Dieter Smith looked around the base at all the destruction. Many tent barracks are destroyed, V-22s have been destroyed, the food and weapons storage depots have been wiped out, the fuel tank is gone, the helipad has been cratered, and 85 troops in the camp have been killed. Most of the fires have been put out.

Helicopters can be heard in the distance as they make their way to the base and land. The choppers are CH-46 Sea Knights from the deck of the BSS BIG-TIME. The helicopters are unloaded and on them are many MREs (meals ready to eat) and weapons so that the troops can still do their job. More personnel get off, and they begin to put the tents back up, fix the helipad, help the wounded, etc.

Elsewhere below ground-

*secret events, no one knows about them. So don't respond on this part*

the Lt. Colonel himself begins the interrogation of the terrorists who are responsible for the attack.

Lt Col- What is your name?

terrorist- Nazr Abdullah Rahim

Lt Col- Why are you so hell-bent on killing us?

Rahim- Because you capitalistic swine and your allies are invading and occupying our country. We were a peaceful land until you all came along and started killing us.

Lt Col- We aren't the ones that started this thing, it was you and your terrorist regime that declared war on a neighboring country. You have Muqmarek and Muqmarek only to thank for what happened.

Rahim- You are nothing but impe...

Lt Col.- SHUT THE HELL UP. This is an interrogation, not a debate. Now tell me, where are your comrades?

Rahim- One of them is to the right of me, you killed the others

Lt Col.- Who and where is the officer that deployed you?

Rahim- Wouldn't you like to know?

Lt Col.- *punches him in the face very hard* Tell me what I want to know now you dirtbag.

Rahim- Allah will protect me from anything you can do.

the Lt Col. with the wave of a hand calls in the torture personnel. They walk over to him and insert small needles under his fingernails.

Lt Col.- You will tell me what I want to know or this will happen *they then push the needles deep under his fingernails, Rahim lets out a loud scream*

Lt Col.- What is the name of the Officer who sent you here?

Rahim- I wont tell *the needles are pushed in even further and he lets out another loud scream*

After this process happens 6 more times-

Rahim- OWWWW, alright damnit! I am the commanding officer. I was a Major in the Shimdah standing army.

Lt Col.- Good, now we're getting somewhere. How many terrorists are fighting in this guerilla campaign?

Rahim- About 800 more

Lt. Col- Where are they?

Rahim- I don't know

Lt Col.- Where are they!

Rahim- I don't know

*the Lt. Col then takes a bottle of water and pours it on his groin area, then he pulls out a set of jumper cables and a car battery. He then attaches the jumper cables to the mans testicles, and hovers the other end of the cables by the battery*

Lt Col.- You will tell me where they are now or you will suffer the consequences

Rahim- Only Allah can judge me

Lt Col.- Wrong anwser *he then puts the cable onto the battery, and begins shocking the mans grapefruits. Rahim lets out another loud girlish scream as he writhes in agony. The cable is kept on the battery for about 7 seconds*

Lt Col.- Where are they at?

Rahim-........

*he puts the cable back on the battery and holds it there for 15 seconds*

Lt Col.- Where?

Rahim-...........

*the cable is put on the battery again, and this time it stays on there for 30 seconds, Rahim is screaming bloody murder now*

Rahim- I'LL TELL- they are operating in areas that are made to look like civilian homes. However there are no civilians inside of them. These towns are located on the outskirts of the Shimdah-Hutu border. The others are located in an underground bunker complex, a system of bunkers and tunnels that leads from the Shimdah capital deep into Hutu. That's all I know, I swear!

Lt Col.- Very good, you're not as dumb as you look.
===============================================

The final stage of the campaign is near. Acting on the intelligence givin, as well as recon flights to make sure the terrorist POW wasn't lying, Bigmenistan forces launch one final push against the terrorists.

About 15 F/A-18E Hornets launch from the deck of the BSS BIG-TIME head towards the mock civilian area that the terrorists are in, near the Hutuian border. About 400 Marines from the 4th Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 9th Cavalry Division head off towards the tunnel complex on M3A2 Bradleys and with an escort of 15 tanks. They head down the highway towards the Shimdah capital. Once they reach the area where the tunnels are supposedly at, they unload and begin searching for the tunnel entrances.

Meanwhile the F/A-18 strike force has come upon the terrorist village at 15,000 feet. They each are carrying a pair of LGBs. The Hornets turn on their air to ground radar and they each target a building in the enemy village. Each plane simultaniously releases 15 smart bombs, the pilots watch their targets on the t.v. screen in their cockpit After about 10 seconds the bombs hit their targets. Trucks, jeeps, barracks disguised as hotels, ammunition dumps disguised as garbage dumpsters, anti aircraft guns, etc. are all seen blowing up below. About 3/4 of the village is destroyed on the first pass. The F/A-18s then circle back around and drop more of their smart bombs. The entire village has been destroyed. The planes break off and return to the carrier.

While the 4th Marine Battalion of about 400 men have found the entrance to the tunnel complex, about 200 of them break off and go down, the other 200 continue on in search of bunkers. It looks like a sewer man-hole, but when they get down they can see a large system of tunnels. The Marines head down them with their weapons raised and a search for the terrorists begins. The Marines follow the tunnels for about 10 miles and they eventually come across their C&C room. About 50 Shimdah officers and other terrorists are inside, once they are seen, they terrorists opens fire and a firefight begins. The Marines armed with their IMI UZIs throw in some frag grenades and open fire with their submachine guns.

The 50 terrorists are quickly killed, the 200 Marines take about 20 losses but they continue on. After traveling about 3 more miles down the tunnel system, they come across a barracks area. Which has about 100 enemy troops in it. However they are all in bed sleeping. So the Marines are able to take these men prisoner. They quickly wake them all up and tie them up with rope. 50 of the Marines are left behind to guard them. While the others continue down the tunnel. They come across another area which branches out into 2 seperate tunnels. The 150 Marines split into 2 teams of 75 men and they each take a seperate path. One of the teams travels for about 5 miles before coming up on another room of barracks. This time there are are 35 men sleeping, they are quickly awaken and taken prisoner, some of them are tied, while the others are just held at gun point. That team leaves 25 Marines behind to guard the prisoners, and the other 50 travel on down the tunnel. They finally reach the end of the tunnel and notice another manhole. They climb up it, and are soon overlooking the capital of Hutu.

The other 75 man team that had split off down the other tunnel comes across a large weapons cache after about 1 mile. 10 terrorists suddenly appear and are quickly gunned down. The Marines reach the end of the path and head back. All the prisoners are taken out of the tunnel and handcuffed and loaded into the APCs, others are loaded into HUMVEEs and trucks and taken back to POW camps.

Recon units that went to investigate the village that was hit by the F/A-18s revealed that it was a terrorist site as expected. The terrorists had no idea what hit them, seeing as how none of them even tried to flee. Everyone at the site was either dead or wounded.

Throughout the following few days intel gathering flights and missions turned up no signs of any remaining terrorists operating in Shimdah. Interrogations of the captured POWs from the tunnel complex confirm that their operatives have all been wiped out.

Due to this, all operations in Shimdah have been indefinitely suspended. And I have ordered all of our troops to come home.
