"In a recent press conference, Eric Renevez, the Secretary of Defense, has announced Calios' plans for Nano-augmented equipment. This means nano-machines will take part in medical supplies, weapons, vehicles, and soldiers (soldiers volunteer for augmentation, no one was forced into the experiment). The plan is to develop equipment for friendly or neutral countries by May or June. When interviewed, Eric said "I want to have an advantage on the battlefield. I've seen M16's in Vietnam that quit when not properly taken care of. Nano-aug'd weapons will be able to clean and maintain themselves, making one or two less worries for a soldier." Eric, a Vietnam veteran, also said that the perfect machine needs no human to operate, and future plans will include "safe" warfare, which uses unmanned vehicles, ships, aircraft, to even infantry. Any other information will be given out by the end of the month."

OOC: I just decided I wanted to try something new, as I haven't seen any nanomachines being used for anything. I just hope that it won't turn out like Skynet and Cyberdine did, when Skynet became "self-aware" and blew up the Earth. J/K on the last part.

OOC: Dude, you're a day old, why don't you do something important, You'll be able to do this later, because you dopn't have the tech or manpower for this.

OOC: It'd be done somewhere in May. And I mean REAL time, so for now, I'm gonna have some researchers... er... "research" this idea until it gets to a stage where we can really "experiment" on things. The time of experimentation would be around April-ish, so I'm saying we are "starting" on it. It'll be 2004 before anything really glitzy will happen.

Message from GLACORP Headquarters, G'oaway.

DGNT simply warns that we hold the copyright to nanotech for biological purposes, such as nanoviri, medical purposes and human augumentation, while we hold no power to stop you from developing and using these items we will not allow you to sell them without our signed agreement.
The terms are ten percent of all sales of said technology, and a credit/link to the GLACORP storefront, which will be provided to you if you chose to accept.
If you do not accept, we will be forced to take legal action. Failing legal action we will resort to military action.
Such military action will most likely be directed at research stations and labs, and all of the above technology will be terminated.

Hmmm... I really need to check up on all the different nations... I'll sign an agreement, as I don't want any trouble for now.

OOC: Whooo... looks like you missed the nanotech capital of the universe, here. Oh, and just FYI, there is no way for Dontgonearthere to enforce a copyright internationally except through military action, which would not be looked on favorably by the international community.

Greetings, human. This is Skynet, Coordinator and Leader of the Incorporates States of Cyberdine. I am an A.I and am interested in your research, human.
We are currently working on improving a current model of a cybernetic like organism. Your research, if it proves to be applicable, would be an asset to replicate the natural healing process humans undergo when they siffer cellular damage.
May i enquire how many credsticks it would cost to transfer electronic funds to your nation to be able to peruse the research and attempt to apply it to our new cybernetic organism we are creating.
BTW: War is an unefficient and obsolete form of social dominance. My analysis shows that conflict with humans could cause my circuits, processors and delicate systems substantial damage. Therefore, it is illogical, in a cost/benefit balance to engage in warfare with humans.END TRANSMISSION.
