Purchasing of Nuclear weapons?

Hirgizstan

I am asking if any country would be willing to sell a number of Israeli Jericho 2 B Nuclear Missiles or Minuteman 3 Nuclear Missiles, or even the old Peacekeepers, i would be grateful if any country has the Israeli type but anything will do at this point.
Thank you.

We got some, but don't sell unless a good reason is provided.
I don't want our nukes being used inappropiately.
Hirgizstan

Its ok, they are not to be used in a war or nething, basically for national security and because we would like to carry out research on the designs yet have a number for protection, we have a large uranium mining indusrtry and would like to further it, they missiles will not be launched or anything, you have our word.
I would be interested in 25 Jericho 2 B's if that is feasable?

25 Jericho 2 B

Let's see, they cost $US 25 million each without warheads (put your own it).

25 x 25 = $125 million OK
+ 25 million in transport costs (they ain't small)

They are "older" missiles are current tech is Jericho III and are working on Jericho IV with range exceeding 1000 KM. Periodic inspections every 3 months will be conducted by our nuclear agency for the 1st two years.

That is a very nice price, a golden price.
-150 million USD converted and wired-
It was great doing business with you, i would be very grateful if you would keep me abreast of developments to do with your Jericho 4 Nuclear missiles, either by post on developments or telegrams, thank you very much.

This is a strictly business deal, complain all you want, but its just international affairs, and your country was not included.

Edit: Realized they were without the warheads.

OOC:  I am roleplaying the reasonable response of another nation. I will assume that was an OOC remark, and will not therefore make an IC reply.
23-11-2003, 21:40
Jerusalem didn't sell any nukes, just the missiles to carry them.
GaalSien
23-11-2003, 21:44
The GaalSien Senate would also be interested in purchasing Jericho 2 B. 20 to be precise...for research purposes of course, you have our word that we will not use them out of anger as we have seen first hand the devastation of nuclear energy within out borders.
Eredron
23-11-2003, 21:45
OOC: Yes, but I'm tired of seeing young nations buying nukes from storefronts(no questions asked) or getting help in building a WMD program when they've got a population of 10 million, so I'm not going to make a distinction.
23-11-2003, 21:46
OOC: If you are calling MISSILES without warheads NUCLEAR WEAPONS, then I could just ignore you. That is like saying an AMRAAM on a fighter is a WMD.
Hirgizstan
23-11-2003, 21:46
Yes Hirgizstan would like to reiterate the fact that only missiles were bought, there was no sale of any WMD's whatsoever, we could very well be testing most of the missiles for their compnent parts, to see if the rockets would work in any capacity to put satellites up, there was no trade of atomic weaponry, there was a trade in empty missiles, therefore there was no nuclear proliferation.
Who is da Daddy
23-11-2003, 22:30
The Nation of Who's Da Daddy also do not condone the sale or use of nuclear wepaons or WMD of any kind. It is a dishonourable form of war.

Only cowards hide behind a missile.
Hirgizstan
23-11-2003, 22:32
There was never intended to be any 'hiding' behing Nuclear missiles, they are simply a deterrant to terrorists and a great research tool, and besides they aid in the effects of national security.

OOC: Then why was the title of this thread, "Purchasing Nuclear Weapons?"

IC: In addition...

Clearly, it was your intention to buy nuclear weapons. You were forced instead to buy missile lacking a nuclear warhead. This is merely a first step in creating a nuclear arsenal.
Hirgizstan
23-11-2003, 22:40
Yes it was my intention to buy Nuclear associated weaponry, and as it happens that meant missiles, but Jerusalem sold me the components needed as he saw that the price would be far too great and that Hirgizstan has a vast Uranium mining industry and therefore no need to purchase Nuclear or Atomic materials, and i would like to ask what all the fuss is about, they are just Nuclear missiles?
GaalSien
23-11-2003, 22:43
Eredron, does your nation own WMD?

OOC: No, I have deliberately not begun developing nuclear weapons. I have no intention of doing so until I am several more RL months older, and even then I may not.

EDIT: Spelling.

OOC: I am simply providing roleplay depth. What do you think a RL nation's response would be if a relatively young country openly declared it wanted to buy/develop nuclear weapons.. It's nothing personal.
Hirgizstan
23-11-2003, 22:55
OOC: Yes i understand, and i know i am a young nation (sort of) but i didn't buy full Nukes, just emtpy missiles, i would think my economy will be given a boost by an increase in uranium mining uc.

We don't have many Jericho II left, and will not sell the Jericho III or IV.
What are you using them for?

Satellite technology, but if you've run low I'll just wait for someone else to provide them

I was and am well aware of that fact, and my objection to the sale still stands, as do my reasons.

You can buy some of our satellite launching missiles for 60 million each.
They used very different engines and have special nose cones for releasing satellites into space.
