Assault Rifle:

http://www.hpphoto.com/servlet/LinkPhoto?GUID=3439375e-7932-7215-935f-377f36911200&size=

FC-57A2

Designed by Freedom Countried R&D, its FC's national Rifle, and has been given to all our Infanatry Divisions!!!!!

Its 6.62 is designed to use FC bullets which are somewhere in between the versatile 5.56 and the powerful 7.62.

Its design is a mix of the tried and tested M4 and OICW, and has replaced the OICW, AKS-74U, G36 and M16 in our armed forces. A LMG version is being developed soon!!!

It has a carbine designed, M16 inspired barrel, with what looks like a smooth gripped M203 underneath. Both barrels merge into an OICW's main body with trigger, but both the grenade launchers 5 round magazine and the assault rifles magazines are at the back. This allows added weight to be added at the front to reduce barrel rising and increase accuracy. It has a stock which is where the magazines are inserted, in front of the shoulder. The grenade launcher can be unattached to leave the Assault rifle, for QB and Airborne use. Also, there is a multipurpose slot where a custom made bayonet, custom made, laser 'pin prick' targeting, custom made torch and custom made MILES system fit into the holder.

The grenade launcher fires either HE or HEAT shells, with the HEAT being a mini version of the tank inspired shell. The assault rifle uses the FC 6.62 rounds which can be brass cased or explosive matrix enclosed. This is the first step my R&D has amde other than a rotary launcher for torpedos, which isnt that special.

Crookfur
24-11-2003, 15:28
Well there is always the Crookfur option:

We can offer either our S1A3
http://www.meatballs.terminator.org.uk/crookfur/images/CFARS1A3.jpg
Round: 6.25x43mm
Weight: 3.4kg (empty magazine)
Magazine capacity: 30 rounds
Length: 790mm
Barrel length: 570mm
Rate of fire: 500 rounds per minute
Max effective range: 600m (with sight).

The S1A3 is a Bull pup arranged rifle designed around the forgotten British 6.25x43mm rifle cartridge. During a series of trials it was identified as being close to the optimum for an infantry round. The 6.25mm round offers performance equal to the larger 7.62 NATO round out to about 600m but with recoil and ammo weight very close to 5.56mm rounds.

The S1A3 uses a much improved version of the SA80 mechanism offering rock solid reliability and performance (a must in the harsh conditions found all over Crookfur), the bull pup design allows for a greatly reduced length making the S1A3 perfect for airborne or mechanised infantry. Included in the basic package is a 4x scope based on the British SUSAT, this is mounted on integral weaver rails allowing alternative sights to be used if desired.

Cost: $850

or our S7A3
http://www.meatballs.terminator.org.uk/crookfur/images/S7A3.jpg
Round: 6.25x43mm
Weight: 3.5kg (empty magazine)
Magazine capacity: 30 rounds
Length: 920mm
Barrel length: 440mm
Rate of fire: 700 rounds per minute
Max effective range: 650m (with sight).

Designed as a more conventional alternative the S1A3 bullpup rifle the S7A3 is based on a highly modified Heckler and Kock G36 chassis. By using this basis the S7A1 retains most of the extreme accuracy possessed by the S1A3 while offering a more flexible solution. To enhance this flexibility the S7A3 features a Rail interface system as standard on both the barrel shroud and weapon upper allowing the mounting of numerous combat accessories. The Rail system is supplied with covers to enhance carrying comfort for the user. The rifles is Shipped with a 1.5x Optical sight to supplement the iron sights but this is easily replaced by many advanced systems.

Cost: $950

mhmm, the interesting thing is, they are 12mm rounds. They will be considered for heavy infantry.
We would advise you not to even consider them. It's excessively difficult to control a 7.62mm round on full auto, so a 12.31mm rifle would be too much for anyone to handle, especially in such a light weapon as that. Even on single shot, the recoil is too much, and you would find infantry getting worn out very quickly.

OOC: I'd also say that the magazine is a bit light. Considering the size of the round and the range information he gave, each cartridge should be weiging in the range of at least 60-80 grams. However, he states that the magazine has 45 rounds and weighs 1.8kg, or 40g per cartridge, and that's assuming that the magazine itself weighs absolutely nothing.
This also shows how ludicrously light the rifle is for such a round, and it should be in the range of 7-10 kg at least.

The Dominion would like to offer you the K1A1 variant of the venerable FN-FAL rifle in the 7.62x51mm NATO.

http://world.guns.ru/assault/fal_imbel.jpg

Viking Firearms/Fabrique National K1A1 FAL

The FN-FAL is probably the most widely-used rifle in history, adopted by over 90 countries. Many of these have demanded their own minor modifications; Many countries have manufactured under licence and, again, have incorporated their own modifications. Kotterdam is one such country.

After a great deal of consulting with Kotterdam's largest domestic manufacturer, Viking Firearms, Fabrique National has cooperated with the aforementioned company to come out with the K1A1, a new version of FN-FAL.

Among other things, this upgraded weapons includes all synthetic furniture with picatinny rails on top of the reciever and beneath the barrel for such attachments as optical sights or grenade launchers. As well, a three round burst trigger group has been added, as well as the recently introduced 30-round high capacity magazine. A heavy barrel is also used to improve accuracy, although thanks to the extensive use of synthetics and advanced materials, there is a net decrease in overall weight.

AK-107 Assault Rifle

Continuing its designing and selling of military equipment for income, Kazakhstania has decided to have a crack at producing an Assault Rifle for general sale. We have come up with the Advanced Low Cost Infantary Weapon (ALCIW) that will be given to most of our infantary divisions and put up for general sale.

It uses the 7.62mm NATO ammo which is used worldwide as standard ammo. It uses the best points from several weapons, to produce a powerful, durable but practical weapon. It uses some good old techniques in building, including a strong barrel, receiver and cleaning system and light stock and firing area.

It uses mostly steel, and fibreglass cannot be seen anywhere. It also has a carrying handle which can be used to mount a Nightsight or scope. It is greande launcher compatable with the universal M203 grenade launcher, which fires 40mm rounds.

We announce to you, the AK-107 'Sabre' Assault Rifle

http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-11/502999/AK-47.JPG

There is not much left to say. It has strong muzzle velocity and a high ROF meaning it can down a soldier. Also, its failry lengthy barrel means accuracy to almost 200m. We hope you like it, and wish to purchase for your armed forces.

Caliber: 7.62 NATO
Action: Gas operated, rotating bolt with 2 lugs
Overall length: 796 mm
Barrel length: 415 mm
Weight, with empty magazine: 3.3kg
Magazine: Standard is 30 rounds. 20 round prone firing and 200 rounds ouble drums can be loaded.
Cyclic: 600 rounds per minute
Maximum effective range: About 500 meters
Rates fo Fire: Single Round, 3 Shot Burst or Full Auto

Cost: $500

Thankyou.

The Ministry of Defence Procurement and Export has now released the Army’s new standard combat rifle for export sale.

The design of the new Standard Combat rifle and its variants are derivatives of the Tavor Assault Rifle (manufactured by Israel) and has proven extremely effective since it was first introduced several months ago.

The Weapon

The weapon is a gas operated, selective fire, magazine fed assault rifle of bullpup configuration. It is available in several other configurations, which differ in the barrel lengths and accessories. The basic configuration is the SCR-21 assault rifle with the 460mm barrel. Next are the compact assault rifle, called CSCR-21, with the barrel 380 mm long, and the micro assault rifle (SCC-21) ,with a barrel of only 250 mm.
SCR-21 utilizes a long piston stroke, rotating bolt action, with the gas piston rigidly attached to the bolt carrier. The gas cylinder is located above the barrel and is completely enclosed by the gun housing. The rotating bolt is similar to one found in the M16 rifle and has seven lugs. The ejection ports are made on both sides of the weapon, and the right or the left side ejection can be selected by installing the bolt with the ejector mounted on the right or on the left, respectively (for either left-hand or right-hand firers). The bolt carrier rides on the single guide rod, with the return spring unit located above it, behind and inside the hollow gas piston rod. The charging handle is located at the front left side of the gun and does not reciprocate when gun is fired. The charging handle slots are cut on the both sides of the gun housing, so it can be installed on either side of the weapon, as required. The trigger unit is more or less conventional, with the ambidextrous fire mode selector / safety switch located above the pistol grip.
The SCR-21 has no separate receiver. Instead, all parts are mounted within the high impact-resistant housing, reinforced with steel inserts where appropriate. The access to all the internal parts is controlled by a hinged plate, which can be swung down for internal inspection and disassembly.
SCR-21 has no open sights. It is fitted with the standard Pi accessory rail on the top of the gun. The Standard sighting equipment for the SCR-21 series rifles (except for the SSCR-21 sniper rifle)a complicated and expensive optical reflex-type sight with the built-in laser pointer. For the night time operations the sight can be complemented with a compact night vision device.

RIW-5 Assault Rifle(pic is here!) (http://www.freewebs.com/bluebomber/storefrontweapons.htm)

The only assault rifle in NS with the ability to accept almost any type of ammo! This assault rifle can easily be incorporated beside your current one, as it can use the same ammo. Its ability to use different ammos lets you use captured munitions easily.

1) Quick change barrel systems lets you use almost any ammo. Carry around the right size barrel, and you can use the corresponding ammo. Obviously it works with any assault rifle ammo, as that was what the original design called for; however, its ability doesn't end there. Pistol ammo has been fired through it. Full size rifle ammo has been fired through it (with 30.06 it has been described as reminiscent of firing a BAR from WW2 era). With a smoothbore barrel, we have even gotten 12-gauge out of it. This flexibility means you can switch ammo as you switch tasks!

2) The clamp and reciever are one in the same, and resize to fit new sizes of magazine. Pulling back on a lever causes the device to dilate to its maximum, at which point you put in the magazine. Releasing the lever causes the assembly to grip the magazine in place, ready for firing. This process only needs to be repeated when changing to new magazine types, once it is fit to a certain type of magazine it retains that shape until a new one is desired. The gun can accept box or belt styles magazines, drums and more obscure types are unfortunetly impossible.

Range: Dependant on ammo type.

Firing Modes: Safety, Semi, Burst(3), and Auto(800 cyclic)

Features List:
-Ambidextrous, adjustable without tools by user.
-Waterproof.
-The inside is coated with teflon, so the gun never needs oiling.
-Super tough! It has a dense polymer outside strong enough to protect it from repeated sledgehammer impacts. This gun is tougher than an AK series, and can be fired after presumeably decades of full combat wear and tear.
-Inside there is a tiny bell made of heat sensitive metal, it serves the purpose of distinguishing betwen friend or foe when firing different calibers, and to audibly warn you when the gun starts to overheat(like say after firing an entire 200 round MG box).

$400

Doesn't UE already make soemthing based on the OH-1.

Kazakhstania: your design seems OK but it needs a wee bit of tweeking to make it better, try using the clone tool (if you have PSP or what ever it is in Photoshop) to get the colours matching better oh and move the carry handle forward it doesn't seem to look quite right where it is.

Bayorta has a large weapons program and we make a lot of our own equipment. The R-04 is just an example of our quality equipment and it is the rifle that we are now using.

BMI R-04

Barrel Length: 415 mm
Effective Range: 700 m
Rate Of Fire: 900 RPM
Magazine Capacity: 30 rounds

The New standard assault rifle of the Bayortan Armed Froces. The R-04 is not simply an overhaul of the R-03, it is a completely new design with only similar grips and magazines being used from the R-03.

When the rifle was first announced it was originally intended to be a new bullpup design based almost entirely on the R-03. Many problems were encountered however and so it was eventually decided that the R-03 design needed to be scraped. Enter a new Bayortan team of scientists with vast experience of Russian weaponry. The team knew what they wanted to do and set to work on it straight away. A lot of money went into development of it, however the end result surprised many, including some members of the development team. Unlike the R-03, the R-04 manages to sustain a consistent rate of fire. It also manages to gain an extra 100 metres in effective range.

Once the rifle was accepted and the rough edges were ironed out, rigorous testing was performed on it. No problems were encountered. The new rifle quickly gained its reputation as being extremely reliable and now it is rapidly replacing the R-03. It is now available to the international market.

The ACR-20

http://remtek.com/arms/steyr/acr/acr.jpg

Caliber: 5.6 mm fleschette or regular 5.6mm ball ammo
Action: Gas operated, rising breech
Overall length: 620mm
Barrel length: 540 mm
Weigth: 3.23 kg w/ magazine
Rate of fire: 600-800 rounds per minute
Magazine capacity: 25, 30, 35 rounds
Maximum Effective Range: 600m

The ACR-20 is a revolutionary new assault rifle developed by Johnistani Defense Industries. The new 5.6mm fleschette ammo leaves the barrel at an impressive 1450m/s. The fleschette is about 5mm in diameter and is partially enclosed in the 5.6mm sabot. Because of the fast flight time the gun is extremely accurate, giving the shooter almost ray gun like ability. The bullpup design and light ammo weight gives the gun low recoil. The gun retains much stopping and penetrating power because of the very high velocity. The barrel has granules that make the fleschette tumble when it hits flesh, causing massive cavitation and wounding.

The ACR-20 comes with a 3x magnifacation scope as a standered feature. This scope provides an excellent sight picture in the worst of condition. The scope can be fitted with IR or nightvision capabilities. New scopes can be added with ease. Under the barrel there are nooks where a grenade launcher or other accesories can be added.
