** A tall, approximately six and a half foot tall man approaches a dais, on which is a pedastal and microphone. He is dressed in a deep blue uniform, adorned with gold badges and buttons of state. He appears in his mid-to-late twenties, reddish hair, with a reddish vandyke beard on his face, carefully trimmed. His eyes meet the camera, a startling grey colour that seems to reflect his uniform below and the sky above. He clears his throat, and speaks... **
People of our World.
This is Gaelan Carmarthen, First Minister of Carmarthen, Head of the High Council of Carmarthen.
Some of you may or may not be aware of the current insidious proposal before the United Nations - I am here to beg a moment of your time and attention, in the hope that this Economic disaster may be averted!
The idea, at face, quick read-and-click value, seems good enough. It supports the common worker.
It's when you look closely that things get... disturbing. The proposal has been brought before the United Nations with the admitted purpose of harming Capitalist and Consumerist Economies. Those closely allied with the author ADMIT this, indeed, they PLANNED for it to be ambiguously worded so that is would thusly appear relatively mundane at first glance and hence make it through the system.
I suggest you look closely.
This resolution harms the very sovereignty of your nation! It takes away even your right to make new laws that inhibit Unionism, not to mention removing your ability to control or monitor union activity!
I beg of you, people of our fair land, look closely at this resolution. Read it carefully. Read the opinions of those out there. And decide.
Decide well for all our sakes - vote "NO" on this UN Labour Resolution.
Thank you for your time.
Gaelan Carmarthen, First Minister of Carmarthen, Head of the High Council of Carmarthen.
