A new and strong APC for the worlds armed forces. Designed and built by the finest in Freedom Countries facilities and designed not long ago, the FT-15 is a modern and sophisticated APC for the worlds battlefield.

Built using durable new materials such as diamond, titanium, ceramic tiles and Titanium Carbonate (TCO2) its armor can withstand the hit of a LAW, 20mm round and most small amrs including .50 cal rounds.

A2 version
http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-9/387586/sshot010.JPG

It is powered by a 400 Horse-Power Hydrogen engine, which uses the latest hydrogen power cell technology. This means it can reach high speeds and accelerate quickly, enhancing its usefulness on the battlefield.

Also, the new engine means that it can pull its 4 crew members and 12 passengers to a battlezone quickly and efficiently. It also means there is no need for petrol, making logistics easier. It is also amphibious.

These is an A1 and A2 version. The A2 uses an 350 hp engine and can only carry 8 troops, but carries more armor and various electronic and physical enhancements.

It utilises top of the range filters for NBC warfare, and utilises the latest Freedomian range of the famous Arena and Shorta systems, in case it gets in a scrap. This is a well and truly top of the range APC, and can be armed with two (2) .50 cal Machine Guns on front and back, for anti troop fire support. There is also a mortar mount on the back for 120mm mortars.

Didnt you develop this as CoF?

A good APC more or less (SUPRISE), though, so well take 400 to temporary replace losses in the Fluffywuffy war.
22-11-2003, 17:43
Hey hey hey!!

I got a more or less good!

Anyway:

LRR: What type? A1 or A2? Confirmed anyway.

Weyton-Newfound: Sorry, will sell later. Cant be bothered figuring a price.

T&F and Celttis: Confirmed.

DT: What type?

No, I didnt develop this as CoF. The pic rocks so I am using it here :)

What, on the forward mount?

That could be an idea.

That will have to be A3. A4 is in the works. A2 base, less troops capacity but with a 30mm Gun Turret.

I was thinking of that.
22-11-2003, 18:01
Works.

IRL, instead of the M113 upgrade, they chose the stryker, which can be penetrated by the Soviet ww2 era PTRD 14.5mm anti-tank rifle!
22-11-2003, 18:02
I can imagine some 12 year old guerilla sittin with a scrapped 14.5 PTRD and blowin up a Stryker.....

Anyway, its American so I thought you would kill it :D

I found a site that talks about almost nothing besides how much the Stryker sucks and how the M113A3 needs to go into active service to replace the HMMWV.

I mean I know the M113 with gun should replace the Stryker, but the HMMWV shouldnt be replaced by an APC. Its a jeep and does its job.
22-11-2003, 18:08
Hahaha LRR. Thats 3 A2's and 2 A1's confirmed.

Sorry to keep this off topic thing going.

In some cases, the HMMWV does need to be replaced, specifically in urban combat. It was demonstrated during Operation: Gothic Serpent in Mogadishu that Humvees did not protect their passengers well enough. The Army desperately needs to adapt the Gavin or create a new version of the LAV-25 for urban combat.
23-11-2003, 11:08
Urban combat isnt for vehicles full stop.

Youve got RPG's from all sorts of places, rooftops, windows and side streets. Its impossible. Looking out the window right now I can see at least 12 places you could shoot an RPG from.

HHmm for your upgrade weapon see if you can find info on the next gen bushmaster guns (particularly the 30mm/super 50 version the US marines are despaerate for).

or you could always buy some of my upgraded OCSWs (well you already use a version on the FT-4s and 5s).
23-11-2003, 13:02
Could you give me a link to the super bushmaster?

Currently I am just using a scaled down turret off a M3 Bradley.

Here, concept:

Actually the proposed M3 (along with the AAAV) will use the 30mm bushmaster II which can also fire the 40mm super shot round.

The nest stage up is the 35mm bushmaster III which can fire a 50mm supershot round
