To: The International Community

Today we were sent 15 smugglers out of the 20 La Bay was holding. The men were injured badly and told of harsh treatment in La Bay. We call on the international community to end these crimes, as torture should not be used---EVER.

OOC: The original thread can be found..."20 drugsmugglers will die!". It is on this page somewhere, or at least it is now.

EDIT: http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=95939 is the original.

OOC:I cannot rhyme..

<To>Anyone who considers war on La Bay

<From>UH

We do not see war as the answer here, despite La Bay's action,it is his choice what to do with his country. We condem a war effort unless La Bay takes military action first.

20 drug smugglers? Who cares!

This is not a matter to settle via violence as other nations have committed much worse violations of humans rights like executing entire religions in their nations.

You may think so, but this is a matter in which we have become involved, and we do not support genocide either, but we have not seen that occur.

These break the laws of The Geneva Convention. ( Prisoners are not to be tortured, etc etc etc) This isnt good... Not good at all...

We have not heard of this "Geneva Convention", but it does break the laws of the Wolfish Convention on POWs (a UN resolution).

OOC: The Geneva Convention has never been RPed. Hmm.

Drugs are bad.
Those who smuggle drugs are bad.
Torture is bad.
Those who torture are bad.

We will be against whoever takes aggresive action first.

Then I regret to say you oppose us, although we gave La Bay an ultimatum and we are not killing any soldiers or citizens of theirs.

You are being pretty good about your aggressive action.
We'll stay neutral

OOC: I don't feel like getting involved militarily, but I can mediate meetings and peace treaties and stuff if you need it.
