New Ship being Constructed
Several Years ago we began a massive shipyard construction project in Kahta. Finally, the shipyard is done, and a new battleship, named the Karl der Grosse, is being constructed. It's ETA is expected to be about 5 years. It is unknown how many are being built. In another berth, what appears to be a carrier, called the Roland, is being built.

They are only under construction. Specifications are currently classified.

The frames of both ships are beginning to look complete. In several trucks near the berths, workers can be seen unloading crates into the warehouse, that are labeled 'CRYSTALLIZED CARBON' (Diamond, or, more specifically, Diamond Inter-mesh plate for the armor).
To coorespond with new constructions, the naval acronym for Attican ships shall be changed to Kaiserlich Flottenshiff, ot KFS. (Imperial Naval Ship)
The Karl der Grosse's hull is nearly done. Turrets will not be added until they are built, but everything else will be done. The Roland is about half done. Note that from the air, the KDG is about twice the size of an Iowa, while the Roland is about 1.5 times the size of a Nimitz.
The Karl der Grosse has been dropped into the water. It's insides are prepared, and it has a skeleton crew. 3 Tugboats are moving it to the Bismarck Seabase in Attica, where it will be outfitted with small weapons (AA, Machine Guns, Torpedo Launchers, et cetera), a full crew, fuel (nuclear), and, in the future, Cannon.

IC: Design of a 19.5" ETC Cannon for the KDG has begun at Attikischmetall, as well as the design of a 12" ETC Cannon for the Roland (just in case close in combat).
