Arbra: Return of the Empire
Today, Leader Kelly Robinson released a press statement telling of the return of the once great Abran Empire, which came close to defeating the Klonor Space Fleet.
People of the universe:
The Massively Defensive Planet of Arbra has returned to its once great status. We once nearly defeated the Klonor Space Fleet, as we destroyed the famed Colossus- the pride of their fleet. We are the only single nation ever to destroy this ship, and we hold fast to that pride. However, we now come at a time when it is seen that Klonor is constantly on the downfall. As of this moment, I, Kelly Robinson, Leader of Arbra, propose a firm alliance betwixt Klonor and Arbra. Our once great fleet has been totally renewed to its prior state, and Defender Ion Cannons have been reinstalled, and we now have five of these massive cannons in place, two more than when we were conquered long ago.
Let it be known that any Galactic Pirates found in or around Arbra will be destroyed, be it by the Defender Cannons or by other means. Thank you.

While we have worked together in the past, and worked well, we of Klonor were purposelessly betrayed by Arbra during one of our most dire straights. We are still reeling from the betrayal, and our people are still unable to to fully trust your nation. If we were to receive sufficient assurances that such a travesty would not occur again we shall consider your proposal."

What sort assurances are you looking for? I am sure we can find something of that which you can use- be it ships, production rights, joint training, military bases, or anything else you may be looking for.

"We would like permission to install a weapons inhibitor on your combat ships. It will make your weapons unable to target and fire upon Klonor ships. We will also add a key-word to turn it off, so that if there is a rebellion, hijacking, or other such thing that would place you in a position of combat with a non-authorized ship you would be able to defend yourself."

I am certain this can be done. We do not wish to rebel, as our older leader had done. We wish only for friendship, peace, and an alliance with your great nation, and are willing to help against anyone who is intruding on you, expecially pirateers. If allowed, I will be planning a special trip to your main planet, in order to sign any ordinance needed, and to show the people of the universe that we intend to stand by Klonor through thick and thin.
