Commonwealth Defense to upgrade military intelligence. Specialty firms sought for various purchases!
Yesterday general Mwiso Ndelebe, supreme commander of Commonwealth Defense, authorized the annual military budget granting the C. Defense League of theory and games(The intelligence and communications wing of the national military) what amounts to 18,900,000,000 United States Dollars.
The head of the League, Kine Tikala, has planned many upgrades to the Commonwealth intelligence network, and so far the following things are sought:

Advanced satellites, both regular mapping satellites and spy sat uplinks.

Cutting edge early warnings and survelliance(AWACS) aircraft.

Long range stationary radar systems(preferably with SAM targeting arrays), and mobile radars.

Stealth/anti-radar scrambling hardware.

Skilled hackers for the department of electronic espionage.

Training in subterfuge, blather, disguise and melee/firearms for infiltration agents.

More to come, suggestions are of course very welcome. We invite all nations with the appropriate hardware, blueprints or means of manufacture. The League will pay exceedingly well for original and effective designs.

Why should a nation have all of that? There is no reason to, except maybe fear. If you fear other nations, maybe it is because your nation isn't koosjer enough. If you fear others, maybe your system isn't good enough, or you are insane. Look at America, they want a defense shield. Why? Does Europe have one? Does every land have one? How many lands have long distance weapons?
We don't fear them... And have no shield.
Maybe it is because America isn't bright enough, maybe egocentric, ...

OOC: I'd be with you all the way if we were discussing this over a cuppa... Unfortunately, AC is a rather un-kosher and militaristic nation - And as egocentric as the Americas, if that is possible.

IC:

The African Commonwealth is a nation often engaged in foreign affairs of pressing weight and frightening complexity. To stay ahead, we need to upgrade our means of intelligence and communications.

Secretary Hotan tilted his head for a moment, unsure of his technology. Did that send?

It did.

The encoded transmission to General Ndelebe was a sensitive one, but that didn't keep the monsterous Drapoel bureaucracy from keeping at least two hard copies, one in the Kanggye bunkers, and another at the partialy rebuilt Central Directorature in DaKhiem.

As you are likely aware.. The transmission stated ..The Choson People's Republic has not the technical means to aid you in many of the ends you here (In the new military budget) pursue. However, our humble capabilities are at your call, friends.

Our highest technologies are employed by the S-4 interceptor, which features the DXJ1 Radar Jammer- this is admittedly perhaps behind the best systems employed by dedicated stealth aircraft- technologies as yet beyond the republic. In the unlikely even that your nation lacks other options, this system is almost certain to be available to you.

On another note, however, the Banat are amongst the world's most crafty agent provocateurs. Though they lack the latest espionage gadgets, one may learn from their determined and ruthless principles in operation. Should the African Commonwealth wish its potential agents to gain front-line experience in a conflict which does not directly threaten the homeland the ongoing Crusader wars might provide ideal proving grounds.

(ooc:The technology mentioned, as you would easily find out, is sufficent to give Dra-pol radar stations a hard time in locking on to their own aircraft in training and simulations, but Drapoel radar is not far advanced beyond that of the second world war. It is better than nothing, but hardly ideal for a modern stealth aircraft. As for sending operatives to the warzone here.. we could try to set up some sort of espionage RP against Quinntonian Dra-pol or such (or even against China- Dra-pol is a little crazy after all) if anyone of us can come up with a good idea.. or else you are welcome to simply later state that your intelligence agencies are experienced and thus perhaps more effective thanks to involvement in the Drapoel Crusader wars, without us getting too side-tracked in specifics. Bleh.. I hope at least some of this post makes sense :? )

[Strongly Encrypted IC]

Give us more specifications on this DXJ1 system. It can serve well for converting some of our older aircraft into a back-up stealth force.

As for the Banat, that training is exactly the sort of dedication we require of our agents to be. Scouting of prevalent target environments in Quinntonia has begun

OOC:
Naw, it made sense. See, the problem is that I don't have any intel or agents worth anything - due to my policy of(almost) no interference in the Crusader conflict. Excellent idea! Let's get in touch with Quinntonia.
