Secret Coded Transmission to Soviet Trasa from High Command (Valencia):

I urge you to change your military strategy. Unjustified stands at impossible odds may kill tremedous amounts of your troops and will promote the sorrounding of large amounts of your men. Thus we urge you to give ground when necessary until a perfect option is presented and you can outflank Tyrador and trap major parts of his armies in large kessels. Just as a strategic aid.

This knowledge of your strategy is based on pre-war exchange of information between friendly generals during times of peace and of pamphlets written by your generals as memoirs and such. Also, some generals have given Macabean High Command in Valencia some secret information, their names will be unreleased.

*The IV Corps, the Corps stationed at Marseilles, has gone on a battle alert, along with the naval squadrons stationed there, and the squadron at Venice. The Federal Republic cannot allow either of these countries, of which it is allied too, be destroyed by the other. The Senate would prefer the war, should it become unavoidable, to be fought on Austria, sparing the major lands of both countries from destruction, as the Imperialist forces cloud in over West Africa and the Iberian, the Federal Republic requires strong allies. Of course, in the even that either nation marched a sizeable force into the other, whether or not the IV Corps would attack that nation, was sent by courier on a frigate from the Allied Homeland, it could not be risked to be transmitted across the oceans.*
