CTT Training (closed RP)
Clang!
The sergeant looked to his left at a small metal target.
"Damn!"
He put the binoculars up his eyes again and scanned the high grass in front of him. Two others did the same with binoculars of their own. Suddenly he dropped them and shouted into his megaphone.
"There! Straight ahead...farther...farther...there! Sniper at your feet!"
The soldier prodded the ground with his rifle, then shook his head.
Clang!
"Damn good...sniper, stand up!"
The grass parted, and the sniper stood, a mere five yards from him.
"Sniper, how did you get that close?!"
The sniper saluted.
"Your orders, sir. Hit the target four times, moving closer each time."
"Well I...damn!"
The first sniper was definately passed, and he removed his ghillie suit and took off his hat. This team was going to be the best of the best...
Eddy MCormak the other sniper steps up to the plate for the test.
The sergeant stood in front of him, eyes blazing.
"Alright, soldier, here's what you do. Listen up, I'm only going to say this once. You must enter the field of grass from the far side, and fire four shots with your sniper rifle, hitting this target each time. After each shot you must move forward, or change your position. Myself and two soldiers with binocs will attempt to find you, as are two soldiers in the grass itself. If you do not pass, you must retry again. This is the best of the best, soldier. Do I make myself clear?"
He was holding the target, which was about eight inches in diameter.
"Sir yes sir.I will do my best Sir because we are the best of the best."replied the soldier.
The soldier started rolling around in the grass. He saw the target he took his first shot.Dead center. He knew that the shot drew some attention he moved behind a boulder. He then looked around the corner of the boulder took another shot.Almost missed it just hit the side of the target. He drew wven more attention around that area.He went down on his forearms and started to crawl near the target without being seen.He was about 10 meters away from the target. He shot another dead center shot.He got up ran over to a tree he went up the tree and took his last shot he just missed the center.
He got down and walked over to his instructor to see how he did.
Sorry to interuppt, but we would like to issue a challenge to your team. We have a similar team that works brilliantly in Urban Situations, and is trained to do that. We propose this:
Our two teams would train for several weeks in Urban Combat together at our Urban Training centre near Rosport. There, we would teach you the arts of using Close Air Support, show off a bit, show you our gear and train you in depth.
Later, we could have an Urban match using MILES kit in our training centre.
Then, possible, you could do the same for us outdoors.
"Welcome ladies, to the Counter Terrorist Team Training. The next few days I will be breaking you up, working on your expertese, then put you all back together to learn to work as a team. We will be the world. The world shall depend on us. Don't think your up for the challenge? Leave." Yelled the Drill Sargent.
"Now! Find your name on this list and follow the instructions."
Patton ran his finger down the list. George Patton - Machine Gunner. That would be me, he thought to himself. In bold lettering, Go to room 267 and await further instructions. Wow. Well I guess its what I expected.. but where the hell is room 267? I can't ask Drill Sargent, he'll probably make me to pushups or something. Well I guess I'll just have to find it myself.
Patton looked around for about 30 Minutes, until he finally came to room 267. His entrance was not ahh.. shalll we say.. warm.
"Where the hell have you been, you little panzy? You've been waiting for you for 20 minutes! Stay after class and we'll find something for you to do! Now find a seet!" yelled the man sitting at the front of the room.
Patton looked around, and found that he was the only one there. Is this guy crazy? Hold up what class? Im the only here! This guy must be nuts. Gonzo. Right outta 'er.
"We aren't gonna stay here, cause if your part of this team you already know how to fire a machine gun, and if not.. well.. you know how to fire a machine gun. Follow me. " he said.
They walked for about 5 minutes, not saying a word, until they arrived in a room where he saw a SAW Machine Gun, and the basic military outfit. Grenades, Knife, Pistols.. the usual. "Suit up son, were gonna go out in the range for a few shots." he said.
They went out to the firing range, and shot off a few belts and actually started to talk. They discussed their families, dreams and other stuff. Stuff you woudn't usually talk about in the army. But awhell, this ain't the army.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OOC: Thats all I can think of to RP now..
Oh, wait....this includes Kaddouri....oops
This is an add on from the Counter Terrorist Team Thread, isnt it....You know, the one this started from.
Yes, this is the one from before.
Kamerovia

The door splintered into a thousand shards of wood as the charge went off. Mikhail Andreyevich had already tossed his flash-bang in and followed a split-second after the resultant explosion. He brought his H&K to bear on the nearest target. The bolt worked back and forth three times, leaving one ragged hole firmly in the head, right between the eyes. He looked to his left and spotted another target. Once more the sub-machine gun stuttered its deadly report. And then it was over.
The whole exercise had only taken five seconds. As the smoke cleared he looked over at the other targets. The man next to him, George Patton was inspecting his target. The head had one very neat hole in it, but Andreyevich could tell that three rounds had passed through. Jesus Christ! thought Mikhail These guys are even better than the Kamerovian Special Weapons and Tactics team!. He performed his NSPs and shouldered his weapon, heading for the showers.

The MCTT boys after and exercise
Can I enter a few more guys?
Maybe a rifleman from the USDT team....urban specialists. Tell em if there are any spaces.
Meanwhile:
Crouching behind a sandbag, Mohiedinne Kaddouri slotted his first belt into his FC-21 machine gun. He set it to full auto, and took aim. His eyes were drowned in sweat that obscured his vision, and the targets were all blurred.
"I better no fuck up. So many people watching. Oh shit!"
The first three targets popped up, adn he took aim quickly. In a burst of 5 rounds on full auto, all the targets fell with a gentle 'click click click.'
Next, 2 targets came up, longer range. Steadying the barrel, Kaddouri held down the trigger. 10 roudns later, both targets were pulverised and Kaddouris nerves were lost.
Next, all the targets came up. "WHAT THE!!??"
Pulling the trigger, in 4 short 5 round bursts all the targets went down hard. Someone behind him shouted reload. He lifted the flip, jammed back the guard the wrenched the bullets from the breach. After throwing it away, he slammed another belt in. He was then ordered to proved covering fire to the left.
Confused, he did what he was told. In 10 round bursts lasting half a minute, he blared down range. He swept the barrel expertly, regularly stopping and starting. The man behind him shouted cease fire, but he didnt hear him. He kept firing. He first he knew was a kick to the kidney. He rolled over in pain.
"This is what I get....I should have listened to my parents."
What is your position on Team 1? I think this is closed for team 1 only..
Oh bugger.
Well, I was the first to put my name down for MGer in Team 1, but he didnt read it. Im team 4.....fuck fuck FUCK
Ahh, Im pretty sure you put your name down for team 7 Leader.
Zaitzev peeked around the corner... "No one" He snuck up in front of the door and looked at the keypad. He shouldered his AK-101 and pulled out his tools. He pryed open the keypad and looked inside it. After inspecting it he pulled out a small pair of scissors and snipped a few wires in order. He replaced the keypad, took his rifle and opened the door. "Ha ha, victory is mine!" He jumped inside and started dancing. (Note: He is a little on the insane side :D)
OOC: Freedom Country: You put down 7-something. By putting seven first, you signified you wanted to be on team seven. Because of this fact, I put you in team four because..it...was.....closest....to seven.....yeah.
All: This thread can be for any of the four teams, it really doesn't matter
which team. You guys are doing a good job RPing, keep up the good work! ^.^
IC:
Michael Jennings sat in his office, joining over his paperwork, which was something he completely despised. He looked over at a pile of MILES equipment lying in the corner, and wished desperately that the day two weeks from now would come: when they would put their training to use with MILES scenarios. The techs were programming computers and building the "set", the area in which the mock combat would take place. Jennings had made the missions as hard as he could, with enemy snipers, programmed and real soldiers (with MILES of course); with urban warfare; with a very percarious hostage situation. But he was confident his teams would perform; in fact, he knew they would. Fourteen days...
OOC: Freedom Country: You put down 7-something. By putting seven first, you signified you wanted to be on team seven. Because of this fact, I put you in team four because..it...was.....closest....to seven.....yeah.
hehe.
No, I meant Team 4, Member 7, the Machine Gunner :D
I am going to dig up the other thread to enter someone else.
To BUMP or not to BUMP, that is the question.
Freedom Country has a new proposal.
We wish to be the official suppliers of equipment for the teams. We can supply KA-60's, BPV's, Weapons, everything, for no price. We wish to supply all to prevent lack of equipment. Thankyou.
Good Idea, though Hattia would also like to help...
Give us some stats on those weapons your going to supply.
FC
What shall we RP next. Fill us in more, allmighty leader 8)
I dunno, just make up something! Get all the people together for a night jump or something. Be creative. Plan, then perform. Be one with the Force.
Yeah. I would say a night jump.
Training Night Jump, or actually mission?
This thread is training, so training. Pretty soon I will start a real mission where they can whomp up on some baddies. And we provide security for Freedom Country's Parade...
Alright. Well we seem to be the only ones on so we shall wait till everyone sees this.
I will provide the weapons when I get home. I am at work the mo.
OOC: Okay, thats great, thanks Freedom Country
IC:
The plane rocked slightly, buffeted by the high winds and droning mindlessly on into the night. Within the cold steel body, nine soldiers sat, shaking with the many shuddering movements of the plane. They were against either wall of the aircraft, and down the middle ran a line, upon which Michael "Knight" Jennings, leader of CTT Team One, ran his hand as he stepped up and down the plane. He turned and walked to the cockpit, leaning close to the pilot and yelling over the noise of the engine through the open doors of the plane.
"Captain, when will be we over target area?"
"Soon, sir, I'm starting the countdown now!"
"Good."
He turned and walked back to his men, lifting his hands from his side in a gesture that meant to stand.
"Check equipment!"
They all made sure they were holding their weapons and bags, and he checked his own.
"Attach to the line!"
They took their cord and hooked it to the line; the purpose of this was to pull the ripcord for them as the exited the plane, eliminating--to a point-- the possibility of a scattered jump.
"Check your buddies equipment!"
They went down the line, slapping the next in line on the shoulder.
OOC: Alright, guys, I decided to start it. Please post from this.
Freedom Country, after releasing its best selling FC-57 Assault Rifle a long time ago, has decided to use its Small Arms skills once more to produce two more top quality weapons for military use. We see it as our duty to keep going, supplying nations with their defensive means to protect them from other nations, or big nations to widen their territory.
We assure you all these weapons are used by our armed forces, mainly our special forces. Of course, other weapons, countries and armed forces have given us inspiration. So, we announce to you our new Submachine Gun, and our new compact Machinegun.
These weapons, released by us, are now for sale. These weapons lead the way in future combat. These weapons are brought to you by Freedom Countries finest. These weapons, are the new FCP-5 and FC-21 Small Arms, for you!!!
Lets start with the FCP-5:
http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-9/387586/SubGun.JPG
Built specially for close quarters battle, inddors and in urban combat. Used by the USDT team for years, and they recommend them to you. Very compact, and high powered, releasing 850 High Powered rounds a minute. With the power to blast its 9mm rounds 175m, it is increibly useful.
Nice and compact, at less than 650mm in length. Weighing just over 2 and a half kilos with a a full 30 round magazine, it is perfect for airborne and Close Quarters use. Here are some stats for you:
Length: 604mm
Weight: 2.78 kilograms (w/30 round magazine)
Bore diameter: 9mm (.355 inches)
Maximum effective range: 175 meters
Rate of fire: 850 rounds per minute
Cost:: $1,000
Now, for the FC-21:
http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-9/387586/fc-21.JPG
A High Powered, Compact and very light Machine Gun, or SAW, is very useful for ultra heavy firepower in airborne teams. Being short, light and high powered, it can provide cover for airborne teams, and long range power for regular teams. It does not give the fatigue you would get carrying a normal SAW around.
Made out of robust and light material, it can supply the 800 rounds a minute needed for high power. Lashing down 6.62mm rounds from a belt fed mag, it can down squads in seconds. When used in optitum position on bipods, it is accurate down to the centimetre. Can also be fitted on vehiclews, on a tripod also supplied.
It is compact and easy to use, with single shot and full auto firing modes aswell.
Here are the stats:
Length: 800mm
Weight: 4 kilograms unloaded
With bipod and tools: 6 kilograms
Bore diameter: 6.62mm
Maximum effective range: 3281 feet (1000 meters) for an area target
Maximum range: 2.23 miles Rates of fire:
Cyclic: 800 rounds per minute
Cost: $2,000

FC-57 Assault Rifle
The All-New FC-57 6.62 Assault Rifle!!
Designed by Freedom Countried R&D, its FC's national Rifle, and has been given to all our Infanatry Divisions!!!!!
Its 6.62 is designed to use FC bullets which are somewhere in between the versatile 5.56 and the powerful 7.62.
Its design is a mix of the tried and tested M4 and OICW, and has replaced the OICW, AKS-74U, G36 and M16 in our armed forces. A LMG version is being developed soon!!!
It has a carbine designed, M16 inspired barrel, with what looks like a smooth gripped M203 underneath. Both barrels merge into an OICW's main body with trigger, but both the grenade launchers 5 round magazine and the assault rifles magazines are at the back. This allows added weight to be added at the front to reduce barrel rising and increase accuracy. It has a stock which is where the magazines are inserted, in front of the shoulder. The grenade launcher can be unattached to leave the Assault rifle, for QB and Airborne use. Also, there is a multipurpose slot where a custom made bayonet, custom made, laser 'pin prick' targeting, custom made torch and custom made MILES system fit into the holder.
The grenade launcher fires either HE or HEAT shells, with the HEAT being a mini version of the tank inspired shell. The assault rifle uses the FC 6.62 rounds which can be brass cased or explosive matrix enclosed. This is the first step my R&D has amde other than a rotary launcher for torpedos, which isnt that special.

Kamerovia

Mikhail Andreyevich looked over his gear for the fourtieth time. This was the worst part, he knew. Before his time with the Kamerovian SWAT he had been a qualified Paratrooper-and now he was back where he belonged. He looked up at the lights above the door-any minute now they would change from red to green. Seconds seem to strech to hours, hours to days and then before he knew it the lights flicked green. "Go, Go, Go!" came his team leader's call. He followed the man in front to the door and then leapt out into the swirling darkness below.
The cold night air rushed past him and then he felt the sudden jerk of his chute and looked up instinctively. He could see the others above him. He focused on the task at hand, guiding himself towards the softest looking piece of ground. He came in fast and hard, but rolled as he hit, taking away the blow. As soon as he was on his feet he was already cutting loose his chute and shouldering his rifle.

"Thirty Seconds!!" yelled a man from the cockpit.
This is it. Well, not really it. Just a practise run. But hey, still fun as hell. Patton looked over his shoulder. He wasn't really sure what this guy's name was.. Mikhail something. Pfft. Crazy names. What happened to good ol' names like Jim and Bob.
Patton Checked over his gear again. God. Im not gonna be missing anything since the last time I checked it. And c'mon, it must be 30 seconds already. The light turned Green. "Go, Go, Go!!" yelled the Team Leader. "WEEEEE!" Yelled Patton. "Shut it, son!" Yelled the Team Leader. "Sorry Sir!" replied Patton.
They landed, packed up and were off. They reached the mach town, and completed their fake objectives in record time. All Patton did was "Set up here" or "Set up there.". Meh, thats what he usually did. He couldn't wait till he got some real action.
The room was an eerie reddish color, reflected off the eyes of the soldiers from the red light over the door. The wind whistled past the engines and door, and Knight felt a shiver of anxiousness, even though he had done this a hundred, a thousand times. In an instant, the light flickered, and the colors changed. He was first.
"Let's go!"
He leapt out of the door, feeling his legs fall out from under him and his chest and shoulders jerk upwards from the deployment of the 'chute. His other team members began floating down after him, invisible with their black 'chutes and body armor. They were now in the air, and the mission had barely begun. True, it was training, but he acted like this could be real. These are real people that are taken hostage.
OOC: Come on guys, RP a bit more...seriously, don't just finish it like that!
Zaitzev checked his gear again, mainly because he was so nervous. He really hated heights... The light turned green. He stood up and got into line... 1 more person... He stared out into the abyss. He gathered his courage and lept. He fell for about 15 or so seconds and deployed his chute. "Well that wasn't so bad". He landed, packed up his gear and walked off.
Note: I won't be able to post until Monday.
Bumpo, Bumpare, Bumpavi, Bumpatum....
So, are you gonna use my gear?
I am also giving you 4 KA-60's, 2 CH-47's and anything else needed.
Here, a real goodie:
We recommend the SHUD system for ground troops.
http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/blps1.jpg
It may look like a pair of sunglasses, but instead it is a unique HUD unit for the modern soldier.
It gives data on ground position using GPS, a compass, a laser distancing system, NVG and IR mode and info on friendly unit positions.
And this isnt all in a bulky pack on the soldier. It is all fitted in a box on the back of the soldiers helmet, which is attached by wires to the goggles.
The glasses are made of shatter and scratch proof material, and is very hard wearing, and the whole kit is waterproof.
Now, the magic thing is, the box on the helmet contains a transmitter, which emits a signal to other SHUD units. This transmitter can be placed on any other friendly unit, and shows up as a big blue cross on a soldiers HUD. This informs the unit of where friendly units are, so he knows they are friendly.
The transmitter system can be placed in tanks or planes, so they too can see if other units are friendly or not.
All this in a compact package. A soldiers best friend.
.........Much like the Terminator HUD actually.
Think of it as real life Terminator vision......bot not red, unless you are James Bond.
I say we start Rping real things. I can can RP a bombing in my nation or something.
Okay, a bombing in your nation then. :)
And yeah, we can use some of Freedom Country's gear. I do have some M-24 sniper rifles...unless your men want to use their own. My sniper is using the M-24.
Suppressors (silencer/flash suppressors) are a must for our missions. We strike hard and fast.
Maybe a hostage situation?
As colonel of a regional defence force. I am in charge of our special forces team. We would offer, once our men have finnished there training. A co-operative or offensive mission together, training both groups.
OOC: Is my entry okay? Is it refused? I know Im late. I entered Clay Connelly ino the last Team 3 position
Terror in Seedling Capital!
Hawkesbury, Seed- Tragiclly today, Seedling Minister of Defence John Casio was killed in an assasination attempt. Casio was 49 and lived by his wife and 2 kids who had just graduated with honors from college. He will be missed by all.
Memo to CTT from Seedling President
Men, we have located the base of these terrorist. We ask you to infiltrate and neutralize them ASAP.
OOC: Wouldn't it be better to try to capture them first?
