Msg from Eastern Bigtopia Weather service. Major flooding in now taking place in the state of Monkland in The United States of Eastern Bigtopia. This is due to Heavy Thunderstorms that have been in this area for the past week. Early reports put the death toll at 391, and Estimated damaged sofar has been put at 62 Million Eastern Bigtopia Grogs.

The Empire of Valinon will contribute aid and relief supplies to the disaster struck citizens of Eastern Bigotopia. We will also send 2 million imperial pounds to help with the cost of the damage. His Majesty, Emperor Gustav Alderman I, hopes that the reconstruction goes well and tha the nation of Eastern Bigotopia recovers from this disaster.

We at Kihameria will send over 4 hovercrafts loaded with sandbags to deploy around main roads and buildings that havent been flooded yet,we hope the sandbags are of some help.

:shock: Cuparhead wishes to express its shock and sympathy for the flooding disaster hitting Bigtopia.

It too has experienced flooding in the past when the drain at the bottom of the street was blocked and all the scraggy wee weans played boats in the accumulated water.

As the van can no longer make it around to you, the generous people of Cuparhead is to fly in two months supply of twix bars and a month supply of irn bru (although you must return the rammies).

We are intrested and this help may come in handy with the building on the second part of the Mazlet Dam project which will hold an extra 700million Gallons of water back from the Easter river. 3 wooded glens will be flooded and 120 oak trees need to be removed.
Latest news on the floods are the waters are falling and the cleanup is well under way major damage has been found on the A987 road system and the four bridges over the Wester River and 8 Bridges over the Easter river are needing replaced.

Pre fabricated housing made out of fiber glass will be shipped to your nation but these tents would be used to house the sick and infirm. We hereby donate USd 300 million to help you in your reconstruction. Our Doctors, Engineers and other personnels will help in ensuring that any forms of disease , be it vector ,water or other means of transportation from striking the affected area.

A tented village is now beginning to spring up around the City of EasterFord as the tents and are put to good use, Land is being prepared for the PreFab housing which will be place there. There was a few cases of muddy leg disease but the numbers have been kept under 10.

57th Brigade (Diaster Control and Reconstruction) under General Pierre St. Luc will be dispatched shortly via air to a point of your choosing. Also 150000 ounces of marijuana (our national currency) will be donated to rebuild riverbanks (we recently had minor flooding ourselves after the Falcon Brigade collapsed the banks of the Savoy in Lower Bigtopia and we will share our newfound expertise).

He stepped quickly down the steps, to where a short motorcade of limousines, Bentleys, and other posh cars were waiting, to take the Minister and his delegation away, to a dinner dance he had just been informed about. Unfortunately, he had no-one to dance with, but he didn't think much about that as he wasn't much of a dancer anyway.

The motorcade set off towards the Green Hills Centre Hotel, a building which, upon arrival, reminded him very much of the Governmental building in which he worked. Perhaps it would have a better decor than that building, he hoped, remembering the monotone blue walls which got boring after your first week in office. But that wasn't important, what was important was to solve the Eastern Bigtopian flood crisis, and to enjoy foreign publicity as he did it ( :) )

The Minister , Senator Raj Shena attended the dinner and the dance event. He loved dancing and managed to dance with one of the many ladies in waiting much to the chagrin of the Falustrian Minister. Nevertheless, He took leave early to as he too knew that the issue at end was far too important than dancing with pretty women.

He excused himself from the crowd and went directly to the Ruler of Eastern Bigtopia to discuss on other aid details. The minister was pleased with the rescue efforts and have conferred honorary medals of Valour to the Gradenkian Rescue units. The minister also spoke to the victims of the flood and offered words of encouragement. Before departing from the tented city, The minister also promised that A Government Scholarship worth USD 15 000 would be offered to the first 50 Eastern Bigtopian who managed to excel well academically. They would be given the opportunity to study in Gradenk's prestigious schools.

Thunderstorms hit the area overnight once more and a loss of power to the hotel see`s the breakfast being taken out doors in the now sunny morning.
