We need new Mobile Suit models.

17-11-2003, 15:14
Though our Cyclops Gundam models are well enough for ground warfare, we have nothing mass-producable for space warfare. Any help here would be appreciated.

No armor!?! Then you'll have this stripped down version of the Comet called the Viper...

Perhaps you would in be interested in Starlight Angel's Kuwagata series of Mobile Suits. Each of the 12 variants is well-armored, well-armed, and each has a special use.

I also have over 100 other designs you may find interesting.

Here's a list of all designs: http://starcloud.topcities.com/mobilepage.htm

Here are the stats for the "basic model", the Ground-Type Kuwagata.

Thank you for the offer, SA, but we need mobile suits that would function at 100% in space.

Our special FRX-81A Neo-Zero is designed for ultimate space combat. Equipped with a large engine output, it can reach high speeds in space. It also has various weapons.

Weapons: 6 Fin Funnels, 1 Hyper Bazooka, 2 Beam Sabers, 1 Beam Dagger, Shield, 90mm Beam Cannon, 4 Micro Missiles, 6 90mm Vulcans, 2 30mm triple barrel gatling gun.

The artillery version of this mecha is the FRX-81A-2 Zero Gundam. The engine output is slightly increased to accomodate for the recoil of its weapons.

Weapons: 1 Beam saber, 1 Beam Katana, 1 360mm Cannon (Xamel Type), 2 90mm vulcan, Shield, 90mm Beam Cannon, 4 Micro Missiles.

More stats can be given.

Thank you for the offer, SA, but we need mobile suits that would function at 100% in space.

The Ground Type was but an example. Aside from it and the Marine Type, all other Kuwagata variants are 100% capable of space combat.

Our mass-produced Space Type Kuwagata would suit your purposes very well, I think. Even better that you don't need ground-type MS, because of the Space Type's G-Defensor-based backpack, it is very top-heavy and would most likely topple over in gravity.

Here's the Space Type's stats.

Model Number: DMS-146S
Code Name: Kuwagata Space Type

some some arn't, Mobile Amors can be the size of the Balls used by the Federal Forces, or the size of that massive unit in 8th MS Team, capitol ship sized.

Its a freaking MS, because it is basically a heavily modified Zaku...

That must explain it, I have never seen Stardust Memory, probably the only Gundam series I have not yet seen, well exept for Char's Revenge.

((OOC: Actually, I think you're right. A Mobile Suit is BIPEDAL, with legs, arms and all, that only has arms and lacks any real legs. Many of the Zeon Mobile Armors use bits and pieces from Zakus, and they still are Mobile Armors, not Mobile Suits. I don't "build" any mechs for obvious reasons, the Ur-Quan are an alien species and all, but I would have to bring this to the thread, GF 13-017 NJ II:

http://sensori.soldats.net/kuvia/snap4.jpg

and then more as URLs:

Picture 1 (http://sensori.soldats.net/kuvia/snap.jpg), Picture 2 (http://sensori.soldats.net/kuvia/snap2.jpg), Picture 3 (http://sensori.soldats.net/kuvia/snap3.jpg), Picture 4 (http://sensori.soldats.net/kuvia/snap5.jpg)

Well, that's it for me. Hated the series, but this thing was really nice.))

You mean Char's Counterattack...

And in response to Ur-Quan-kohr-ah, the MS that I showed is a zaku top with a its legs replaced with engines...

I do have a picture, but the site it's hosted on doesn't allow off-site pic posting.

Here's a URL you'll have to copy and paste.

But the Mobile Armor Big-Zam had legs, so did the Apsalus.

That will do, thank you. We'll buy 5 of these for preproduction testing. We will wire you whatever price you would be willing to sell them for.

5 units it is.

That'll be 100,000,000 of your currency for 5 Space Type Kuwagatas with one Beam Cannon, 264 missiles, and 24000 rounds of vulcan ammo each.

Delivery with be made shortly.

The Big Zam didn't have arms, though, and the Apsalus didn't have any legs that I saw.

Ahh, that's where you're wrong. The legs are damn skinny and are stored in its underside during flight.

The easiest difference is that Mobile Suits are much smaller than mobile Armor...
02-12-2003, 04:47
That too..
05-12-2003, 22:13
(This may be beating a dead horse, but oh well.)

When you think of MA, you do usually think of the giant not-too-humanoid weapons of destruction, but there are also smaller, MS-sized MA.

You've got SEED's Mobius and X's Gadeel off the top of my head.

The Ball could be considered an MA (in fact, it is by the Fed vs. Zeon DX game) due to its very non-human shape.

If you count transformable MS, then you've got a whole bunch of MS-sized MA from the Titans and Neo-Zeon.

G Gundam's Fantoma is about the same height as some One Year War MS.
