Cheese, Uranium, and...Trout?

17-11-2003, 07:58
In order to raise further funds for our research (Documentation found here (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2127048#2127048)) the military of The Holy Empire of Ebi has decided to sale some of its supplies of cheese, uranium, and even our famous trout.

Cheese starts at three USD (six drakken) per pound.
Trout starts at five USD (ten drakken) per fish.
Uranium starts at 50,000 USD (100,000 drakken) per pound.

Put me down for 1 million USD worth of Uranium, if I pay you extra could you refine it to weapon's grade?
17-11-2003, 08:04
I am afraid we cannot refine it ourselves due to not wanting to come under fire from other nations. We will provide the uranium, but we do not ask what the intentions of the buying nations are.

You will be sent your twenty pounds of Uranium shortly.

Very well, I anticipate it's arrival then.

Your uranium has been sent and the money receieved.

We thank you for your support, but we must ask: are you sure you don't want any trout?

It's a bit smelly...
17-11-2003, 17:36
Very well, I will not attempt to sell you our cheese then, although it is among the best in the world!

All others are welcome to our cheese, uranium, and yes, even our trout!

Why all types! Whatever cheeses you want we may produce!

Just tell us the type and amount and we will see what we can arrange.

The Evopian and Petsburgian orders have been delivered and are awaiting payment.

CoreWorld's shipment is being withheld until a specific number of trout is stated, as well as if the trout will be traded for money or pizza.

Agua Puro has a free-market economy, and our government does not itself wish to buy any cheese or trout.

However, we are more than happy to convince importers to pick up your products. Our Brimstone Project division of the military also wishes to purchase 40 pounds of uranium, for $2,000,000,000 USD. Money wired upon arrival.

We would like 300,000 pounds of cheese= $900,000 USD.
We'd also like 100,000 pounds of trout= $500,000 USD.

(Can we have it airdropped in the capital?)

1 ton of trout for 1 ton of pizza, with any toppings your citizens choose.

The trout and cheese will be delivered in exchange for the one ton of pizza and 300 USD for the cheese wheels.

Yurka's order will be airdropped into their capital upon the arrival of their payment.

*300 credits wired for the cheese.*
18-11-2003, 03:58
Thank you for the money, we will be expecting the arrival of the pizza sometime soon, although we understand that making such a vast amount of pizza would take some time.

We do not care what toppings you have on the pizza, with so much of it we do not mind being surprised by any various sorts of toppings.

The trout and cheese has been delivered.

We are a libertarian economy and the governement doesn't stock up on foodstuffs and hates nukes, but New Montreal Consolidated Beef and Pizza Delivery Co. would like to trade 50,000 random passersby (our national animal) in exchange for 10 trout farms in your lands (looking to diversify a bit).

Also Cholesterol Castleā„¢ Burger Joints would like to order 1000 pounds of cheddar. Payment can be made in USD, Crellars, Credits or Ounces of Marijuana (our national currency at 5 ounces per credit).
18-11-2003, 06:04
Although we appreciate your offer of 50,000 passerbies, we must decline as our population of animals is already much too high. The Holy Dragon of Ebi seems to have produced too many offspring and we are currently trying to deal with them.

3000 USD will be suitable payment for the 1000 pounds of cheese.

Does anyone on here have the means to refine the uranium I bought to weapons grade? I'd rather not go to the trouble of building things to refine it when I can just pay a country to refine it to me. I have 20 lbs in need of refining to the highest possible weapons grade.

It would be good of you to send me... let's see, three tons of your fine cheese for government restaurants, twenty tons of trout for the military (we like fish but we don't get much of it) and about a hundred tons of your uranium (don't ask, it's a secret).

For a moment you swear that Niko's eyes turned to drakken signs

Thank you for your order, the totals are:
18,000 USD for the cheese
200,000 USD for the trout
10,000,000,000 USD for the Uranium.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean a hundred tons. I meant a hundred pounds, but the site started locking up before I could edit it. I know it would have been a huge leap for your national economy. Sorry.

Niko mutters something as he crosses out the tons on uranium and makes it out to be pounds

It's all right. We still have plenty of other resources.

Your adjust total is:
18,000 USD for the cheese
200,000 USD for the trout
5,000,000 USD for the uranium

"Well, that's not as bad as I thought it would be. It is still quite a bit of funding," [i]Niko mutters to himself under his breath.

Yes, I thank you. My military thanks you. My fine restaurants thank you. And that cute little doggie I sent you with the money thanks you! Isn't he cute? I think you'll agree that that fine dog is worth more than the tons of uranium.

"Aye, he is certainly a fine dog," Niko says as he pats the newly acquired pet on its head. "He will make a great companion."

Well I'll give you 5 lbs of uranium to do with what you please and 1,000,000 USD along with whatever fee you charge for refining.

I would like to order 200 tons of Uranium, as well as 500 tons of cheese and trout. Can you blend the cheese and trout into cheese balls, and ship separately from the U235?
19-11-2003, 08:29
Yummy! Our corperations would never pass up a chance to form relationships with other nations, and so are cutting back on production of cheese, and ordering the following:

12,000 Pounds of Assorted Cheeses @ $3 /pound = $36,000
10,000 Pounds of Trout @ $5 /pound = $50,000

We don't need any Uranium at this time. We're using explosive chili sauce technology from HPSauce.

((Let me know if this is way too big an order. I'll scale it back. Otherwise, let me know how it will be arriving... do you ship it or should I send some cargo aircraft?))

Money will be wired to you as soon as we have worked out shipping details.

Niko nearly has a heart attack as he calculates the cost

Thank you for your order and yes, we can blend the cheese and trout into trout cheese balls, and we won't even charge extra!

Now then, for the uranium the total comes to 20,000,000,000 USD
For the cheese: 3,000,000 USD
For the trout: 5,000,000 USD

No, the order is fine, although it is the last one that we will be taking as our military needs the rest of the supplies for our own use.

No more orders please, we are closing shop.

We will ship the order to you, it should be on its way now.
