Early this morning the first of many divisions of the Self Defense Forces moved into the territory known as Bradislov. Troops were moved in for the purpose establishing the Bradislov Colony Defense Forces, the military force that will protect the colonists moving into their new home.
Several months back (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1929651#1929651), the government's Department of Land Management arranged the purchase of the land known as Bradislov, which were no longer being occupied and used by the previous government that once owned it. The land was unoccupied when the colonists and Self Defense Forces landed on shores of Bradislov.
Within the past month, colonists that had already made the trip over have established several small towns across the land, whose only defenses were small volunteer police forces. With the establishment of the Colony Defense Forces, the colonists can now focus on expanding the towns without having to worry about their saftey.
Government officials were unavailable to comment on the number of troops being moved into the colony lands.

Green Noa 01 sat in the waters 2 kilometers off shore. Several floating bridge platforms had been set up between the massive colony ship and the shore. Transport and cargo trucks moved back and forth between the ship around the clock, trying to get everything offloaded from the ship as fast as possible so that it could return home to Sneaky B to pick up the next batch of colonists.
Five Starwind-Class Escort Carriers flew overhead, patrolling the area around the colony ship. The ships, normally doing patrols in space, were making sure [i]Green Noa 01[/] was safe.
