a few months back, there was a thread of international alliances and orginazations. does anybody now what happened to it/who the author was/a link to it? I can't find it and this thread is a last resort.

I cannot say that I remember the specific thread, there have been a few and even then do not think all of them were listed. Did you post in it and if so, just do a search with your own name and find it that way.
