"Ladies and Gentlemen," High Chancellor Sterling began, "today we have witnessed a terrible travesty. The nation of Phyrric, along with several allies, has declared war on our country. Currently their only reason for doing so was that we supported our ally and we had no embassy in Phyrric's nation. There is still hope that Phyrric will see the error of his ways and back down, however until we are certain the entire Veritasean fleet has been recalled from various patrols (except for the forces helping DT, we shall not abandon our ally). I have come before you today to ask that all of our allies, old and trusted or new and eager, come to our aid. We have always been a peaceful country, desiring only to protect our allies, however we now find ourselves in a state of war. The nation of Phyrric has attacked us without a second thought. Well, we shall give that country's government more than just a second thought. Already, forces are on their way to waylay the incoming aggressors. Today has seen many darknesses, however soon the sun will shine out brighter, and the nation of Phyrric shall rue the day it ever even thought of assaulting Veritasean sovereignty!"
