Development of New Aircraft (56K Warning)

16-11-2003, 18:08
Today in West Warwick, five very secretive aircraft were rolled out of the factory, located in the north of West Warwick. These two revolutionary designs are meant to allow Warwickish influence beyond our own borders, as West Warwick is landlocked within Roguestan. These new aerospace craft have several purposes. One is built to transport large numbers of troops long distances, one is a recon vehicle, one is a bomber, one a next-generation fighter, and the last a multi-purpose STO vehicle.

The WA-77 Ayatollah.

The Ayatollah is Warwick's most advanced aircraft, with total fly-by-wire controls. It is powered by four SCRAMJET engines, and has the capacity to circumnavigate the earth in a single go. The only things able to shoot this down are space-based lasers and other craft of its kind. It carries a crew of three- Pilot, Navigator, and Systems operator, who is responisble for managing the sensors systems on board the craft. It carries gamma ray detectors, a Synthetic Aperture Radar, and the capacity for 50lbs chaff.

The WW-80 Emir.

The Emir is Warwick's best transport aircraft. It is capable of carrying 200 fully equipped troops, or 100 fully equipped troops as well as 5 UAZ or 3 Vodnik jeeps to any point on earth. It is, however, very veunerable when deploying its cargo, and there are still problems with the parachute cargo delivery system.

The WW-75 Scimitar.

The scimitar incorperates the latest advances in fighter technology. It uses stealth technology, as well as thrust-vectoring and flexible control surfaces. It can carry eight air-to-air missiles in an enclosed bay and has a maximum speed approaching Mach 3. The version pictured above is an unmanned prototype.
