Wazzu

OOC: After the reception but before sleep (apparently, even General Zavier got some...or maybe especially General Zavier. Did he pass out? Find out in this RP episode....
IC:
General Zavier couldn't help but glare at the Sunset official, "Stuck up bastards...all of em" he muttered under his breath. Zavier pounded back his drink and did his best to ignore, "Chappy of Sunset" as the Auman delegation reffered to him.
Jane McCoy found herself suddenly away from Zavier's attention. The man seemed to have a short attention span when drunk. He had gone from in her arm, to 'chatting' with the Tannelorns, to drinking alone at the bar. Jane felt this needed fixing...the man did want to talk about national relations afterall. What better time then when drunk?
Jane started on her way over, but something caught her ear.
"...the coastal route will allow more markets, while the equatorial route will provide the best backbone and some redundancy."
"No reason we can't have both. A system of spoke lines radiating from the world-tree, with connections at strategic points, would give easy access to the entire globe. If a certain nation is uncooperative, we leave out the spoke that would pass through their territory, and route around it. Alternately, we could build a single main equatorial line, with branches extending to specific national access points, where purely internal systems would take over. The only major detour required, unless more nations decline, would be a bend southward along the coastline to avoid Neo Pandora."
She moved closer and injected herself into the conversation. "Excuse me, you seemed to be talking about a regional transportation system. I wasn't aware such a system had been proposed." And she truely hadn't been, neither had Wazzu. [[OOC: though I have been trying to find an IC way into it thank you very much!!!]].
"Some of us in Wazzu have been thinking along the same lines. But ahh-" she steals a glance at the Auman/AF delegate still sitting alone at the bar, "-I have some work to do for my nation. Give me a call?" She passes out some buisness cards and finishes her trek to the bar.
"General! So thats where you got to." She looks up. "Bartender, a martini please." she orders while thinking to herself Something I can drink slowly. "So Delane, you wanted to talk about MIDAS? And perhaps spread understanding about Viscilia?"
