Has Anyone Claimed Venus?

After a attempting to colonise Mercury, we discovered that it was already clamied by another nation, so we are hoping to move the colony, (It would take the same amount of time and effort) to Venus, but before I take the time to state the whole move, I wish to know if it has already been clamied

Sure take venus, all it is a run-away green house effect. With 800 degree surface temperature and an atmosphere 300 times denser than ours, so thick that it can crush anything that enters it. ;)

we havent colonized venus... but e do have a few satelites that orbit near the planet, we guarentee they will do nothing of harm and will in no way inhibit your actions there. we could even help keep peace with you

Even if it's uninhabitable Venus? Take it for all I care, have fun being crushed by its unihabitable environment. :)

OOC: I know that I've seen many other colonies established on or around Venus mentioned in NS. Personally, all the FACS has is a colony on one of Saturn's moons, Titan, and a space station at one of the Lagrange points between Titan and Saturn.

If so, then you cannot take it. Just as my region is called the Orion Sector, no one can live in Orion Space.
