The Ruler of the Klonor Empire, Abel Salm, slowly walks to the podium as the cameras surrounding him zoom in.
"As most of you know, for the past several year our former leader, Duke Solomon Klonor, has been supporting other nations. He has sold them ships, helped them fight their wars, even sold them technology. Sometimes, he didn't even sell it, he just gave it to them! He has been slowly divulging our secrets and shipping them off to other people. I have just become aware of a trade which strikes my point home."
He stops for a sip of water, then continues
"When the nation of Guanyu helped us in the reconstruction of the Colossus we gave them the technical plans for the Heavy Beam Cannon in order to lower the time it would require to construct the weapons on the glorious vessel. Once finished, Guanyu requested permission to continue to use the Heavy Beam Cannons, and to manufacture them for sale. I was under the impression that the Duke had turned down this horrifying offer, but it seems he actually authorized it!"
Another pause, this time for the words to sink in
"He has given the plans for our primary offensive weapon to a nation we barely know! This is unforgiveable! While other pressing issues prevent us from taking immediete action, we do demand that the nation of Guanyu deliver to us all constructed Beam Cannons, as well as remove the plans for building new weapons from their database. Anything less than immediete compiance will be met with strict reprisals. That is all."
He turns and walks away, now a seemingly even bigger hero. For he has shown to the people of Klonor that he will not stand for that which the Duke accepted for so long.
