Two days ago, the military went AWOL. Civil war looks possible, and all because of something we kept secret for so long. Now we resort to a last moment plea to all nations, for peace and an end to the unrest. We ask for Freedom, liberty and an end, to help our country.

Several months ago, a decision was made to cut spending to army development projects and rather to the Navy and air force, and some of the Marines. The Army leaders heard of this, and went ballistic. Two days later, the head of ground forces went to a Tabloid and said:

"The country stands unprotected against attack from other nations. Due to a recent un published cutback in Army Sepnding. Now, defence and funding for the reserves is being held back, and no way of [img]ding the nation is sought of. We could be invaded at any minute!!

The Civilians got angry. We have had a riot, which we said was due to Oil spills of the coast. Now, they are siding with the army, and troops are getting annoyed. We have had one case of an Arm Helicopter rocketing a Marine tank.

The Air Force and Navy see this as disrespectful, and the Marines are angered by this arrogance. Therefore, a state of unrest stands in our country, and the Army and Reserves seem to be making their own 'military' government. It could be a coup.

The Free Pacific State will dispatch peacekeepers immediatly! We ask other nations help us however, because though our military budget is big, and our military rather well sized, we have little real military experience.

Hidden in the bushes down the road, 5 Scuds and several vehicles sit and wait, hidden. Their crews twitch and wait. To the north, several jeeps sit and wait, round a hill. Suddenly, ashots run out from the base. Men begin abseiling down the cliff from either side, in huge numbers.

As they clip off at the bottom, they return fire, and take cover. They are then mowed down by a well placed gun, and several tanks. Down the road, the vehicles roll out the bushes, and the jeeps attack. They all move in, cathcing the defenders by surprise.

The SCUD's launch their missiles, destroying th tanks in several blows. The vehicles move in and begin blowing apart the base, as the jeeps mox down any infantary leaving their quarters. Suddenly, 3 attack helicopters fly over and begin to blast away at anything leaft. A single Helix flies over, and lands in the base. It drops off its troops, before getting blown out the air by an RPG. One loss in a battle of many losses.

Quickly, the Army troops take the base, and reinforcements arrive. It is civil war.

OOC: I sak you keep numbers low here, as I want this to be closely fought. Not an overrunning. Maybe some rebel supporters?

IC: We ask you to refrain from sending large numbers, as we wish to keep this low key.

Numbers loyal to us are unknown. The reserves are huge, numbering over 500,000.

But it wasn't. An hour later the entire panzergruppe was loaded up into cargo ships and rondevouzed with a convoy system 100km west. They headed out towards City of Freedom.

The convoy sailed on through mostly calm waters and the large 18" guns on the Rommel Class Battleships scanned the horizons for enemies while subs patrolled afar. But all of a sudden the shape of City of Freedom took form afar and the panzergruppe knew it would be time to assault the beaches.

OOC: Our special forces are equivelent to the SAS the reason we have them is when we took power 2 days ago. We used a special forces squad we had been training for a while.

IC: They will land in amphibious vehicles all 22 of them. WIth full gear on.

The first thing we must do is find out if they want there army killed or just subdued. Then dependig on the answer we will either hit barracks or sabotage anything they need to work.

From there Amphibious Assult/Landing Vehicles The Troops could see The Macabees Landing force approach the Beach; they were just behind them, their orders were to Support the Macabees with any hostilities and make a command center.

The 5 CF-21 fighter bombers rapidly make their way inbound, and begin soaring over the beachside cliffs.

Meanwhile, on the beach, alert is raised. The Army, who were assinged to hold it, begin firing with thier 155mm Artillery, Towed Guns and .50 cals on the landing craft. Tanks begin to take up defensive positions on the beach.

OOC: Time to attempt my best RP'ing skills...

IC:

The waves splashed lightly against the assault boats heading towards shore. A Company 230th Infantry Division was going in first for the division, with B Company right behind them. The men looked from boat to boat and some crouched down to vomit or tried to do their buisness over board. The coxswain looked on with a grim stare and the captains went on assuring their men over the attack.

Then the coxswain yelled out, "30 seconds!" and the captains began blurting out their orders to their landing squads.

The boats continued to get closer and closer to shore and you could still see and hear the giant 18.1" shells wizzing onto shore, saturating the place to allow holes for defense and to create gaps in the enemy fortifications along the coast.

Bullets whipped past some of the boats and one young private, maybe 18 years old, was hit square between the eyes as he fell onto the floor of the assault boat.

Then suddenly the coxswains yelled out, "Open the ramps" and the ramps fell down....

The 5 CF-21 fighter bombers rapidly make their way inbound, and begin soaring over the beachside cliffs.

Meanwhile, on the beach, alert is raised. The Army, who were assinged to hold it, begin firing with thier 155mm Artillery, Towed Guns and .50 cals on the landing craft. Tanks begin to take up defensive positions on the beach.

The 5 CF-21's roar over the cliffs, flying low. Each individually pulls up. They then launch 4 Mavericks at the landing craft each, before dropping 6 500lb Bombs each on them. They then wip around and strafe the fuck out of the, firing rockets fron mounted pods.

Post losses for artillery and aircraft. Remember, they are defenseless aircraft, and the bombs are guided....
200 troops in bunkers.

The AirStrike that LT. James was assigned to do on the Beach did little to No damage to the Artillary, they Couldn't Get Close Enough; but he saw the Landing, it was times like that he was glad he wasnt Infantry.

Meanwhile on The Evopian Landing Craft:

The Troops Could see The Macabien Landing from the Ships, they were only 10 mins. away, Somewhere on the the back of the Ship a Soldior was crying, the scene that lay awiting them was hell.

The men continued to go from house to house, slowly taking out the enemies within the city, while attempting to kill as few people as possible. As a group of men went from building to building, a sniper shot a well placed bullet, which went right in front of the face of a medic, and slammed the squad commander. The men picked up their dead comrad, carrying him to the building, and, looking up, began to shoot at the sniper. The Corporal of the squad, realizing the sergeant was dead and that he was incharge, said simply one thing.

"It's too bad he isn't on our side..he's a damn good shooter"

The medic then looked at him "or he is a horrific shooter and was trying to hit me...."

Even as they talked, more shells were being fired elsewhere in the city. There was no air cover, as the loss of civilians would be too large, and as its urban combat, tanks and apc's were good only because of their cover, and their machine guns.

Alerted 20 SS-102's (air superiority) took off HES (His Emperor's Ship) Puerto Imperial but it was too late...

As the squads off A company rushed out most were cut down by the ensuing machine gun fire. 18.1" shells continued to pour onto the enemy defenses but it was not enough.

Then as if things couldn't get anyworse 30 500lb bombs fell over the beach and some even hit B company just coming in. Metal scraps were all over the place belonging to the assault boats and men were crying all over the sand...

"My f------ leg!! They blew off my damn leg...Sons of b-----!!!"

But the assault continued, B Company landed along with C Company and then the other two divisions plus the armored division made headway landing a total of 3,000 men on the beach already with 10 tanks.

There were an estimated 700 dead already and thousands more wounded but the Macabees would succeed, it was imperative..for peace and freedom!!!

The armor attempted to pinpoint MG positions and to shell artillery positions with their 122mm to 135mm guns. Some flamethrower troops, covered with about 30 men, attempted to climb the hill but one was hit in his pack and the entire crew was killed instantly with the ensuing explosion..it was getting bloody...

As the carnage unleashed on the beachs a small 7 man amphibious assault craft came ashore.
The seven men including the driver jumped out one by one always watching. I there hadns they all held a standard pistol but more importantly another pistol that contained 23 knock out darts. The bullets where revoloutainary the only way to wake up was to be given the anti-dote. Otherwise after a while without food and water you would die.
As they crept up the sandy shores. They all coruched down low and moved in. It all happened at once. On of the spotters saw the first machine gunner on the beach with a click and a woosh he was lying motionless. Another click and woosh and more and more until the back line of machine gunners who hadn't actually started firing was down.

The soldiers wanting to create a diversion for the men in the landing craft all drew chinese crackers and lobbed them down the beach. This was something the army hadn't expceted they where being attacekd from behind. THe diversion had worked... the men they had subdued where pu into troop transports and the people that had just landed moved further up.

"DROP THE RAMPS!"
The Evopioan Troops were Petrified of the Scene that awaited them, Just as the Boats were Pulling In Bombs smashed Into the Macabien Ships, if the Evopian Craft had left even half a min. later it would have been them who would be twisted metal.

The Troops Ran out Diving into the Blood Drenched Sand Prying to god that they would return Home Again; All arounfd them Macabien and Militant Bodys Lay Mutilated on the Sand, they looked back in horror as the last landing craft to reach the beach was Smashed by artillary fire even before the Ramped Dropped, they started off with only 100 men and they were already down to about 70.

Free Pacific States has nearly completed the taking of the city of Merkanin (random city, hope you don't mind me making name up). Some suburbs are still holding, but will be cleard soon. We know we are supposed to hold position untill the beach landing is complete, but as we are behind enemy lines, would it not be a good idea for us to try to help? Please advise.

The Evopian Landing Craft Tried in vain to Repel the enemys Artillary With there Mounted Machine Guns; Suddenly there was a sicking Clash and the Last Remaining Evopian Landing Craft on the Beach was now Debris, the 50 or So remaining Evopian troops seeked refuge within the Macabien Lines, Luckily Enough the General was still alive so not all hope was lost.

Easy Company and King Company finally got up the foot of the bunkers and one soldiers lobbed a grenade into the slit with his grenade launcher. Two Nebuchadnezzar's (tanks) also came in to reinforce the position and fired at some resisting machine gun nests on the hill. With this covering fire E and K Companies charged up the hill... many were shot down but most overcame it and drove up to the top of the bluff... Captain Catalan looked down and saw hell...

The strewn bodies of 1,100 dead comrades and 4,000 wounded. Craters lining the beaches and even more coming in as incoming artillery pounded seriously open positions...

But the fight would go on...

Corporal Singer and his three men snuck into the back of the bunker. Inside were 6 machine gunners, as well as 4 other men. Singer immediatly yelled out "DONT MOVE". Three of the men immediatly turned to try to shot them FPC soldiers, but they didn't even finish turning around before they had been shot. The rest dropped their weapons, and stepped away from them. While a few recently arrived FPC soldiers took them back to the POW camp in the city they had just taken (what had been the cities' jail), Singer and a couple of his men took up the machine guns and began using them to support the landing troops instead of shoot at them.

However, one man in one of the other bunkers had seen what had happened, and FPC lost its tactic of suprise. Nonetheless, it continued to take out defensive positions.

The Kazaarian special forces sprinted back to there amphibous vehicle and moved on up into the street.

"Well done men, this time round i want all x-rays taken down with darts. We're here to sabotage a munitions supply factory. It has taken up the job of supplying the rebels with munnitions it needs to be stopped"

The AV arrived outside the factory grounds. They dropped down into a manhole and crawled along unitl they reched a steel door which led into the supply rooms. The demo man laid charges and they all evacuated the tunnel.
"OK its about time 1 minute and counting."
A lorry pulled up at the grounds and in 1 minute they had dropped there load with a loud thud. There had been a second bang but nobody heard this.
The door swung open and them men moved in taking out men as they went. Earlier in the day the government of city of freedom cut the power. BUt the building had back-up supplies. They moved through laying charges at all the power supplies. Once they wherer laid they moved itno the next room and detonated them. Turning on night vision they sweeped through the building knocking out all the workers.

OOC: If you didn't know X-Ray is the military term for enemy.

FPC forces had now taken out about 30 bunkers, with only 13 enemy loses and 21 FPC loses. Most of the beach had now been secured. Luitenant McPhillips, incharge of the Beach Supporting Troops, walked into one of the bunkers and, seeing a Macabeen officer, he waved the man over to the bunker. He continued to wave untill the officer saw him, then yelled for the officer to come inside the bunker. As he yelled this, he wondered what the officer would say/do?

The drone of the engines of the MC-130J transport was lulling the men and women of the 32nd Regiment to sleep. Some sat praying, some played cards or read by small glow sticks, and others sat silently, staring ahead of them. The troops were not scared, nor afraid, but apprehensive. This was a foreign country, and they were being sent up against a well-armed force hundreds of times larger than themselves.

The three tier light next to the ramp changed from red to orange, and the troops stood up, clipped onto the static line, and check the equipment of the person in front. Once all the troops had sounded off, they stood in the cold dark cargo bay. With a grinding and a slight rumble, the ramp deployed into the slipstream, revealing a clear night sky and the stars above.

The light changed to green, and 30 Black Panthers left the transport on the run, black parachutes deploying above them, and the troops drifted to the ground below, seeing as they fell the burning defences around the beach.

On reaching the ground, the group assembled, and counted heads. Two men had been lost in the jump, and another had a twisted ankle from hitting a concealed dip in the field.

Ammunition count was good, each man carrying 5 magazines of ammunition for their weapons, and a .45 cal sidearm with two spare magazines.

The three teams of ten, minus casualties, split up, heading for their pre-assigned points of assembly. The next night they would begin their attacks, until then they would lie low and get as far as possible from the LZ.

30 Black Panthers - 17 10-mm M-87 Assault Rifles, 6 M-12 Sniper Rifles, 2 M-249, 1 M-43 Automatic grenade launcher, 1 60-mm mortar, 4 Mp-5K (With the support gunners)

[i] as the beach was being secured The Evopian General ackbar and his 30 remaining men Noticed that many Bunkers were now under FPC control he and his men made a Charge up the Beach with no casulties diving into the bunkers.
"Are you in command of the FPC'S Forces?
we need to totally secure this beach, our reininforcement of 50 men are arriving in blackhawks to try and set up a command center, but we need to know what the FPC and the Macabees are going to do next"

OOC: I would have let you use the artillery but since the beach is now open... also FPC next time wait until CoF responds his defense because you can't RP his losses for him...

Random artillery shots still hit the beaches at time creating short havoc but for the most part Panzergruppe Freedom exited the beaches and set up a perimeter about 30km of front behind the beaches..awaiting for the time to strike...

After taking out the munitions factory. The special forces unit got back in there AV and rushed to meet the black panthers they had been assigned to work with. When they arrived they where handed heavier wepaonary. But handed out the stun guns.

Luitenant McPhillips look at General Ackbar and saluted.

"Sir, we have taken the nearest city to this location...and have nearly taken the beaches. If you wan't to set up a command center, I suggest you head to the city. It's totally secured, and we have the help of quite a few civilians, as well as quite a few structres, there. As for what we plan to do next...I really don't know. Our objectives were to take and hold that city, and then to support the beach. We don't really have that many men, and we're mainly trained for cleaning urban areas (taking out snipers, hiden machine gunners, etc.)."

"I can spare most of the men here though, sir, if you need them, but most of the area is friendly already. I can give you a line to Colenol Juramez, whos incharge of our force, or get a vehicle to take you to the City Hall of the city (which we're now using as a CC). It wouldn't be too hard, as you can see were already taken men to the city hospital (which wasn't damaged) and enemy prisoners to the city jail. You could just hop a ride sir, but its entirally up to u. As for the Macabee's...I really don't know about them.

The Blackhawks Came down swiftly and the fifty men with there equipment started to set up a command post.

The Panzergruppe struck next towards the city of Leputtan hitting it with a double envelopment comprising 1,000 tanks and 100,000 infantry. The rest of the panzergruppe rolled foward to secure the kessel's rear.

At this point, the FPC military is pretty useless. They are currently holding the beaches as well as one of the cities. Their main jobs currently have to do with POW's, casulties, and holding taken ground. They will continue to do so untill either reinforcements are sent (which will only happen if requested) or untill someone requests their support.

However, onceThe Macabees have moved through Leputtan, we would be willing to provide defense for the city, as well as clean out small pockets of resistance. Untill then, our medics and MP's will be the only ones working.

Well, none of your tanks would really have survived as I had tanks hidden in trenches. One voley of 120mm ETC would have nailed 'em.

Artillery from the clifftops still rained down on the Beach and bunkers, and to make it worse, a division of Mechanised Infantary and 2 Divisions of Armor were coming down the road. And the CF-21's were calling for backup-up. 5 more CF-21's roared over the clifftops and each dropped a canister of napalm on the beaches and bunkers.

They then swung around in a ong sweeping turn and fired off their AMRAAM missiles at the C-130J/s.

On the beach, resistance still remains. Machine guns still clatter away, and some guys are hidden in bushes firing off Javelin Anti Tank Missiles.

Minutes later, just as over 100 tanks hit the base, the last gargo plane takes off, as does the last Chinook. Rising into the clouds with bullets following it, the cargo plane escapes. The Chinook...does not. Blown apart by gatling fire and then burnt to a cinder by flamethrowers.

We ask all available nations to make an armored push as SOON as the Marines are ready. Mecabee, possible you could detach some of your tanks to help the Marines in their push along the mountains.

And guys, ther eis only one city. ONE CITY. City of Freedom. Most of my country is made up of urban, though East, where Mecabbe is going, is mostly grassland. So, help us push from the city west, to the army bases. And be warned, there are Marine and Navy defectors.

Nothing. 4 jets take off from the air base, and begin their flight to the base. It was a make up base, to counter an infantary assault. Instead, it got minced.

The 4 jets fly over the cliffs, and roar down a valley at Mach 2. Upon seeing the tanks, they each let off 2 Cluster Bombs each. Then, sweeping round, they launch Mavericks and strafe. When they leave again after 2 more passes, all that remains of the tanks...and base....are ruins.

FPC (Free Pacific States...not sure how it became a C...) forces heard the communique about the base being destroyed. While they would have liked to help, they were in enough trouble as it was. Most of the armor of the FPC force had been destroyed, and what was left of it was staying back a bit. Sure, there was no enemy armor inside these suburbs either, but that still left a shitload of snipers, hum-vees (from both sides), civilians you had to be carefull not to shoot, hostile policeman, and normal enemy infantry soldiers. As for at the beach..only four FPC men survived the bombing of the just taken beach (Luitenant McPhillips and the men inside his bunker). The once 1500 or so man strong unit now consisted of:
4 M1A2 Tanks
6 Hum-Vees
2 APC's
627 men (four at the beaches, the rest spread out among suburbs).

The battle was being won...but at horrific cost.

The CoF army, however, is barely dented. Having suffered tiny losses from the beach assault and just a few from the base assaults.

They also look forward to using their numerical advantage in the Suburbs to the north.

Seven trucks from Kazaakisthan roll up to the front lines, some men come out dressed in civillian clothing and start handing munnitions and food to the allied soldiers.

FPS forces are continuing to move through the suburbs, causing slight damage to the enemy forces, and taking loses, but still advancing.

CoF's army is perparing a huge armored push to drive the enemy back from its strongholds in the north.

EOTF{Empire of Texas and Florida}are deploying over 150,000 troops with hundreds of tanks,artillery,APCs,helicopters etc support to CoW to help you and another nations crush the enemy and stop the civil war.We will also sent
75 F15Es to destroy any other enemy craft left and 50 A10s to bomb out enemy bases,installations,radar and SAM sites,weapon factories etc not yet destroyed by other nations involved in this conflict.

FPS has assumed that some sort of agreement has been made in Freedom Country, and because of so is withdrawing. Fighting had come to a standstill, with little losses on either side, and it seemed pointless to stay.
