Credonia has detonated for the first time in a test, its CNW-L6415T Desolator Missile. The missile itself has used a dummy warhead on its previous two test flights. During this flight, it contained a single 25 Megaton thermonuclear warhead. It was detonated over the Credonian 1st Munitions Test Facility, 500 nm from Credonia City, the nations capital. It is estimated that little atmospheric damage will result from the detonation of this weapons test. This event signifies Credonia's first inital testing of its 1st custom designed thermonuclear warhead and ICBM delivery system. More test launches will follow.

OOC: Exactly what is that you're runnign the simulation in?

OOC: a program called orbiter, the missile was custom made thanks to the guys who work for me at the VUSSP ( http://www.vussp.org )

OOC: It looks pretty sweet, I'll have to see if I can get my hands on a copy of it.

If you are interested in nuclear weapons, I have recently been working on cannons that concentrate a miniscule nuclear blast into a beam, capable of decimating anything in it's path.

We'll give it some consideration

If there's any thing I hate most it's people that give us a play-by-play on their nukes.

OOC: I opened the thread, i was like 'OMG! I've played that game!' It is hard to control aircraft, but I succeded in leaving the solar system.

OOC:: you mean spacecraft and its too easy, just point and shoot lol, chances are your'll reach an eccentricity high enough to sling you right out of the solar system, all too easy

OOC: Who said you had to look?

I mean, within a few minutes. Of course, since 'Spacecraft' would infer the vehicle is designed ONLY for space, and 'Aircraft' implies ONLY for atmospheric flight, and most 'spacecraft' can be used in limited measure in the atmosphere, I guess they would be Aerospacecraft, would they not?

I still haven't figured out all the controls. Know where I can find a manual?

Its in the documents folder. Its named orbiter.pdf its 98 pages big, thee ones specific to the shuttle are in the atlantis_mmu_30.pdf file

How do you get hold of the program. It would be nice to test some of our weapons on

If you have 2 months to spend learning HOW to use the thing corectly, then its worth it, otherwise, dont bother http://www.orbitersim.com you need to have a GOOD knowledge of orbital mechanics to remotely know what your doing
15-11-2003, 17:53
I'm good at only remotely knowing what I'm doing.. :D

I am also good at nowing remotely what i am doing.
