Montsegur- A CNN cameraman by the name of Jimmy Trejo was killed in battle in New Caucasia. He was filming a firefight in Kalinsky City when artillery shells rained down on the platoon he was embedded with. It is believed that 145 people were killed on both sides. Some 324 were injured in the attack. Trejo was killed 20 minutes into the firefight when an artillery shell hit less than 50 feet away from him. He was killed by shrapnel traveling at high speeds. This is the 3rd journalist killed in the war this week.

I thought that due to the surrender of New Caucasia that the fighting had ended in those operations. If New Caucasia is continuing the fight, then we will reply with ten times the amount of force. Even if it means flattening the nation's cities.

We thought that they had surrendered also. This was a support mission to get supplies to troops on the other side of the city. The convoy had been spotted by a forward observer and was attacked soon after. We have attacked several oil refineries in retaliation. We are also close to completement of our nuclear program. I would advise that you have your troops ready to be evacuated on short notice.

We would highly suggest that you not use nuclear weaponry in such a small conflict. If you do, you will lose our support and may find yourself on the wrong side of our guns and in our crosshairs.

We will not use nuclear weapons in this conflict but will announce a nuclear test. We reserve the right to use such weapons only as a final resort in a much larger conflict and only with the support of our allies.

The Republic would like to extend it's wholehearted sympathies to the family members of Mister Trejo. I believe we should all take the time to be thankful that there are people willing to put there lives on the line out in such nations not to only to bring peace, but that there are there to ensure that that peace is heard throughout the world.

We are justified in our actions. As long as enemy troops remain in our nation they will be considered hostile. We also are using this opportunity to announce the start of a nuclear weapons program.

Due to the newly gained knowledge of the beginning of a nuclear weapons program in New Caucasia, we have decided to up our operations against New Caucasia.

the 5th Heavy Bomber Squadron, stationed in Aequatio, has been order to carpet bomb entire cities as Naval aircraft in the proximity strike against more specific targets such as Manufacturing and fuel Storage facilities.

Asd the Demokratie begins the realization that it's nuclear program is molding into reality, we must hold fast in stopping corrupt nations from fanning the fires of nuclear proliferation. As such, the Demokratie will assist in the air campaign against New Caucasia, devoting a total of six squadrons (72 aircraft) of Tornadia GR4 and 2 squadrons (24 aircraft) of EFA-2000. An expeditionary force is being assembled should the need arise to aid in the occupation of New Caucasia to end it's nuclear program.

The fixer has deployed 1000 general infantry troops and a group of 50 specialized weapon inspectors to join our allies in the prevention nuclear activity in New Caucasia. we are monitoring the situation and will send further support if needed.

A while back there was a bloody coup in New Caucasia. The democratic government was overthrown by communist ultranationalists. The Prime minister and his staff were killed as ultranationalists took over the presidential palace. The parliament was dissolved and many members of it were killed. Several nations, including Aequatio out pressure on the communist government to bring back the democratic government. They refused and war broke out. New Caucasia surrendered and a cease fire was put in place. Yesterday, we announced the completion of our nuclear program. As this went on, a military supply convoy was ambushed and attacked with artillery fire. This signaled the end of the cease fire and a fierce and deadly retaliation.

We are prepared to use chemical weapons against our enemies. We have begun sending these weapons to areas where they can be used most efficiently. We will use them against Aequatio and New Kingman troops.

Military Command does not want to spread our forces too thin,, however, we must aid Aequatio and Kingman. Therefore, Agua Puro will send 4 of its deployable field hospitals to the border of New Caucasia, then will move them to A-K-controlled territiory if they have captured substantial land.

These will each have 10 medics, 5 surgeons, 12 infantry only as guards, 8 other (cook, radio, base cmdr, etc.), and 2 pilots with 1 transport heli.

New Caucasia, we wish no combat engagement to you. The 2 squads of 6 infantry at each base are only minimum defense. However, if you attack our hospitals we will retaliate.

The Fixer has requested that you allow our weapon inspectors ito your military sites and others deemed as possible chemical weapon strongholds. If we find chemical weapons we will call upon Aequatio and New Kingman to aid us in appropriate actions.

I will back The Fixer fully in his actions but I believe they are not enough. Caucasia has made his intent on using 'WofMD' chemical or otherwise, why send needless troops into the belly of the beast?

So I do herby formally declare a decloration of war unto Caucasia, unless immediate surrender of all troops and hostilities commence. As well the immediate abdication of the current communist Government. My government will be sending the following to assist in the crisis:
